The same people will tell you electronic voting is not also possible in Nigeria, asking you if you have considered the market women blah, blah, blah, they are so consumed with trying to cheat that they forget that even the market women, aboki and pepper sellers all now use bank transfer to receive payment, thanks to Opay, Monnie point and co, these days I don't even carry cash going to the market, everything is done with transfer.
In fact if you are an adult and you have a phone and you know how to recharge that phone with USSD, then you can also vote electronically, as at now there is no excuse why Nigeria should not even have electronic voting, polling units should just be an option for anyone who wants to go out on the day of election.
All the excuses they give is just to find way to cheat the system and the people.... |

You won't see the emergency lovers of the south east here, and even if the come they will just try to downplay the whole issue like some of them have done above.
I keep asking them, what exactly did they support Tinubu to become president for, if he cannot even protect his own tribesmen against herdsmen from foreign lands? Is it that he doesn't value them or they didn't support him to become president to stop the killings of their people by foreign herdsmen or they don't just value themselves ?
Isn't it looking clearer that they supported Tinubu to become president for something else because they don't even call him out like they did to Jonathan even when the killings were only happening in the north at the time? |

Is it not better for them to have their own country while Christians have theirs?

This guy is part of the people who spoilt Sowore chances of being taken seriously in politics by many Nigerians, Why?
This very man labeled OBJ a wicked man for asking Nigerians to pay 30 naira per liter for fuel and insisted Nigerians should pay 22 naira, he shut down the country fighting OBJ, at the time I still personally feel OBJ may have tried to bribe him and of course he rejected it, it was as though his integrity was made of steel.
He rode on the same integrity reputation just like Sowore is trying to do now and acquired the very executive power OBJ had but as governor and all the steel integrity was shattered, now the very same man who rejected 30 naira per liter believes 900 - 1000 naira per liter is very OK for Nigerians.
This is one of the reason I want Sowore to at least contest a lower position first to prove himself, if anyone told me Oshiomhole will be like this back then I would have argued with that person and gotten angry , reason why I still choose Peter Obi for now(not calling him a saint either) but he has been tried and tested to a large extent with power, money and women, and his result for now still tops most politicians in Nigeria. |

Basic123: The same way Lagos revenue contributed to growth of major cities in Nigerian especially around that 1930.
Have you ever seen any people crying like nush baby whenever Enugu who directly benefited from Lagos revenu when it was gifted to Igbo people in1917.
Why obsession with Lagos?..If not that of jealousy...The colonial master dashed you a whole city from the scratch just like they dashed you PH in 1912 but you people obsession is over lagos that was met as a city
You are talking about railway project that Lagos and the north were also beneficiaries, have you seen Igbos claiming it was Enugu state the built the rails? No, so my point is, give the FG the deserved credit for any project that was executed for Lagos, I have noticed these style of trying to always rewrite history when it comes to Lagos and downplay the role of FG, My point is Lagos is majorly what is is today largely because of the FG just like Abuja is what it is today because of the FG... When Lagos revenue was used to create ENUGU in 1917?..Is anybody making noise??
Key 1917 Revenue Highlights: Dominant Source: Lagos was the primary port of entry for imports, yielding the largest share of customs duties in Nigeria. Financial Surplus: The colony operated at a profit in 1917, allowing for funds to be directed to the Eastern Railway. Comparison to Regions: While direct, specific numeric comparisons of 1917 revenue between the City of Lagos and specific Northern or Eastern regions are not highlighted in the search results, Lagos was the undisputed economic hub of Nigeria at the time, outperforming other regions in trade and duty collection. Context: Following the 1914 amalgamation, the revenue from Lagos supported the administrative and development costs for the rest of Nigeria

Enugu just like Abuja was pure creation of the colonial masters(Unlike lagos that they met as a city) and has enjoyed every government patronage since then, how many as any body reminded you that Enugu was build from the scratch from collective wealth, including Lagos wealth, because as at 1917 when Enugu was incorporated into a city by the british government,Lagos generated more revenue than every part of the country combined
Enugu, known as the "Coal City," was formally incorporated as a township in 1917 following the discovery of coal in 1909 and the subsequent rapid development by British colonial authorities, including the construction of a railway. FreeStuffsNG: That was part of Western Region
Ikeja was carved out from the defunct Western region to give the Lagos State created in 1967 sufficient land mass and access to some strategic assets still under control of OODUA till date.
That's why it's laughable to confuse Lagos with Lagos State. And it was developed and still built by the federal government, just look at the area and ask yourself what was developed there before the FG started pumping money into the place, the same Ikeja has Army cantoment, Airforce base, Muritala Aiport, Ikeja(GRA) and so on all built by the federal government.
Has any state in Nigeria received quarter of the investment the FG has invested in Lagos?, Third mainland bridge alone does not even have estimate because of how costly it was, yet they just kept on pouring into it just to complete it for Lagos, yet some of you will come out and start doing yeye comparison and giving glory Tinubu. |
