That thing looks to clean to have stayed underground that long, when I saw the picture, what the Pastor said above was what came to my mind, and this one the police is busy denying it, I hope some people are not trying to play script especially now that U.S soldiers have entered Nigeria.

That's what you get when someone(Tinubu) decides to leave the core problem and focus on cosmetic solution because of dirty politics, how can you remove subsidy then channel the funds to share and buy state governors to join APC.

The problem of Nigeria petrol was not the subsidy but the corruption that was going on in the subsidy that he was supposed to tackle, instead of tackling the corruption, he channeled the corruption into growing a bigger corruption, the citizens are paying more, the borrowings are more while the politicians are getting more money from the corruption..

So this is the real story, the other story brought on front page painted it like they were sisters, from the narration of the story, it looks like there was more to the issue, like a tensed atmosphere even before the incident too place, it just looks like there was a build up of accumulated tension before this particular one happened.

I was just updated now that they are both sisters, the older one was married, reason her surname is different.

In 8 years Jonathan grew Nigeria debt by over 200%, depleted the external reserve by over 50%..

This is despite selling an average annual Crude Oil of over 2 million barrels from 2007 to 2015....

This is despite selling crude Oil at an average of $100 from 2007 to 2014....

The wailers that were in power in those 16 years didn't ask where the whole money sold from $100 of barrel of crude went to...

They didn't ask why borrowing increased by over 200% in 8 years and FX reserve collapsed despite massive spike in crude prices...

They were too dum*b to ask... Because they were wired to shout " power to the people" at all time...

The average population of Nigeria when they wasted all those monies in 16 years was just 145 million, Today Tinubu is leading almost 250 million people... almost twice a nation the wailers led..

In 2023 Buhari left $43billion external debt, and N54 trillion domestic debt.... Using an FX rate of N460 per dollar, Buhari left a total debt of $160billion for Tinubu....

Buhari left $33billion Gross external reserve.. with FX backlog of almost $30billion...

The latter days Wailers who are blinded by region and ethnicity including those blinded appointment Rustlers... Didn't ask the Buhari they were supporting why he grew Nigeria debt by almost 200% with an Empty net External reserve...

They were more interested in shouting " Ranka Dede"..

If Tinubu continued on business as usual.... Nigeria debt would have been over $240 billion ...adding money borrowed to pay salary... Gaza would have been heaven for Nigerians....

With a touch of genius Tinubu recalibrated Nigeria debt to around $100 billion.... Wiping off over $60 billion from what he inherited from Buhari...
Tinubu grew the external reserve to over $46billion....

Economics is not for kids.... Tinubu economic team are genius....

Tinubu is leading a country almost twice what Obasanjo & Jonathan led... He is selling crude almost half of what wailers and their leaders sold..

Yet his projects are everywhere....

They just saved a ship with over 245 million people from the verge of wrecking....

Its means you dont know that anti-venom is not on the WHO essential drug list for a primary care as its costly,practically,making it available at that level may be impossible because each snake species has its own antivenom.One may cost as much as 100k,reason why its mostly found in few big tertiary hospitals and big pharmacies.

I already had a suspicion it will be costly which was why I gave the suggestion in my previous post on how the FG could reduce the cost, and most importantly target areas with high incident of such cases, there are states like Niger state that might take anyone bitten more than an hour to get to an FMC or tertiary hospital which time may not be available for the victim to survive.

Once again thank you for the information and update but you could have passed your message better without throwing insults, I only made a very good suggestion that you should have just given a simple reply, even the person I replied I did not insult him, neither did I insult the FG or State government, which is what you should have done with your information, anyway thanks.

Snake Antivenom will be in Pharmacies, not hospitals.

Like I said earlier, every primary health care center should have anti venom for free to any person bitten by a snake or venomous creature, why? It is a case of emergency and should be treated for free, that should be part of what our tax should cover, it is the responsibility of both the state and federal government.

There is a reason why the colloquial names (in quite a number of Nigerian languages) for the puff adder have exactly the same translation: "tomorrow is too far".

There are forest cobras all over South western Nigeria and North Central Nigeria - seen personally several times. There are threads on this platform showing forest cobras in Kano, Katsina, Sokoto etc. There are also NL threads showing puff adders in Kaduna - the same snake specie is also abundant in SW, SE and SS Nigeria.

By now the government is supposed to have a comprehensive database of snakes, reptiles and other Poisonous/venomous creatures, the reason is different regions and places have different species of these dangerous animals, going by the news coming out alone these few days, it is clear Abuja has cobras, the FG ought to provide the anti-venom for cobras(especially this black specie) in every primary health care center, same with any other identified poisonous or venomous creature within that region.

Same with other parts of Nigeria, if you check you might never find this black cobra in some states in Nigeria and a gaboon viper may never be found in Abuja either, based on data collected the FG would only send the anti-venom of the species peculiar to those states, that way it will reduce cost for sending just every anti-venom for every harmful creature even when some may not be needed in the state.

This should be a priority for the FG and the state government, every primary health care center should have anti-venom for dangerous species of animals peculiar to their location.
