In the West of Nigeria, there are up to 5 indigenous automakers of Yoruba descent namely Pro Force owned by the United States-trained Engineer, Abayomi Ogundeyin was the FIRST EVER to make MRAP and armored vehicles since 2008, NORD makes CNG vehicles (I have a NORD in my fleet of private and company vehicles over there in Nigeria), Lanre Shittu Motors makes CNG buses, another Lagos-based company makes EVs, there's another car manufacturer located in Ekiti State. The East of Nigeria has 3 indigenous auto makers that I know of.

I'm aware that 'Bola Tinubu's private firm Television Continental (TVC) bought a lot of innoson vehicles before now.

ALL the innoson vehicles are Chinese knock-offs (copies of already existing China cars with Chinese brand names). All this car company does is to put the innoson name badge on the cars and install some fabricated car parts made in Nigeria. The cars in terms of design are embarrassinly the same China cars you will see online via a simple search. All the cars including the electric ones they recently started selling.

However, people and the various governments at all levels have a right of choice to buy official vehicles from ANY of the many car companies in Nigeria. Period.

This again is a fallacy of hasty generalization. You can't use the action of one person or a group to categorize everyone. There are millions of people in Northern Nigeria. Some small group protest something is not the same as all. BTW, i don't think they protested help but invasion. i noticed you are bent on misunderstanding the point.
Bishop Kukah is a northern Christian and he's against invasion, Daniel Bwala is a northern Christian and is against invasion. Again, there are people from the different religions on the two sides of the divide. It's unreasonable to keep insisting that a few of them is all of them.
