AlphaTaikun: Your post is highly IRRESPONSIBLE!
I CLEARLY stated in my post that the now President 'Bola Tinubu's Television Continental or TVC bought innoson vehicles for their operations, yet you irresponsibly began to insult the same man. Further more, I stated that people and governments have the right of choice to buy whatever they want to buy. I CANNOT help you if you have cognitive dissonance?
In the West of Nigeria, there are up to 5 indigenous automakers of Yoruba descent namely Pro Force owned by the United States-trained Engineer, Abayomi Ogundeyin was the FIRST EVER to make MRAP and armored vehicles since 2008, NORD makes CNG vehicles (I have a NORD in my fleet of private and company vehicles over there in Nigeria), Lanre Shittu Motors makes CNG buses, another Lagos-based company makes EVs, there's another car manufacturer located in Ekiti State. The East of Nigeria has 3 indigenous auto makers that I know of.
Learn to read posts properly before typing IRRESPONSIBLY here? You are NOT talking to your young age mate here. I've been a veteran member of this discussion forum since 2005 or 20 years now and you totally come off as someone with terrible comprehension skills if you CANNOT decipher the positives in that post I made. You still came back to write another load of nonsense, your claim that TVC bought Innoson doesn't prove Tinubu as a public office holder directly patronized them, at the time he was not holding any public office, TVC is privately owned and not a government station which runs its adminiistrative operations without Tinubu being involved directly, here you mentioned about 9 auto makers in Nigeria, so Tinubu didn't deem it fit to even patronize one out of the 9 as president, yet he tells Nigerians to patronize made in Nigeria product to grow the naira, someone who constantly runs away from Nigeria for even his treatment... Who is the joker here? You, Tinubu or both of you? During the military era, the military government patronized only assembled Peugeot made in Nigeria and we saw the impact it had on Peugeot sales in Nigeria, right from the head of state to all government parastatals, that's what it really means to lead by example not what Tinubu is doing. Yes they have every right to buy any vehicle they want to but why are they telling Nigerians to do what they cannot do as leaders who should be leading by example, what then is leadership about? You claim you have been here since 2005 and so fkin what, does that change any fact that you are busy supporting nonsense because of tribalism. Your living abroad and all your achievement doesn't still change that fact, I wrote something on frontpage yesterday and your comment here is just reflecting the same thing... This is the person some Yorubas rejected Osinbajo and Peter Obi for and labeled him the best the Yorubas could give Nigerians in 2023, one thing I have learnt from the last election is that tribalism can make education, intelligence, smartness, logic and common sense useless when making and taking decision... |

AlphaTaikun: I'm aware that 'Bola Tinubu's private firm Television Continental (TVC) bought a lot of innoson vehicles before now.
ALL the innoson vehicles are Chinese knock-offs (copies of already existing China cars with Chinese brand names). All this car company does is to put the innoson name badge on the cars and install some fabricated car parts made in Nigeria. The cars in terms of design are embarrassinly the same China cars you will see online via a simple search. All the cars including the electric ones they recently started selling.
However, people and the various governments at all levels have a right of choice to buy official vehicles from ANY of the many car companies in Nigeria. Period. Always come and defend nonsense, if Chinese people gave this same excuse when other countries were branding their productions chinco product, do you think any Chinese brand may have gone as far as it is today?, Chinese were the first patronizers of their own chinco products, today almost everybody is now producing in China including Apple, later you people will come out with your president and be shouting patronize made in Nigeria to grow the naira, when the leaders you people put in office like Tinubu are avoiding everything made in Nigeria including hospitals, at least if the followers are avoiding it, should the leaders also join to avoid it, what then are they encouraging the citizens to do?
You people should stop this nonsense |

Between the yorubas from within whom one man says Emilokan and his few followers start chanting same and the Igbos who practically burned down PDP, their first love, who do you think is more tribally inclined or centred here? Do you think the person who made that statement below is dumb or hates the Yorubas or is a tribalist? Because it seems like someone speaking the truth to you means what you wrote you up there and you just validated the writer's statement below by and for yourself... If Nigeria could go as far as picking MNK from Kenya, what is stopping them from picking Gumi, Turji and co?
This nonsense you Yorubas are supporting the north to get away with believing you people are fighting the Igbos because of hatred, you people kept on making noise that it was because Buhari was there that's the reason why the northerners are getting away with all the nonsense, shebi Tinubu is there now, what has changed?

Image123: This again is a fallacy of hasty generalization. You can't use the action of one person or a group to categorize everyone. There are millions of people in Northern Nigeria. Some small group protest something is not the same as all. BTW, i don't think they protested help but invasion. i noticed you are bent on misunderstanding the point. Bishop Kukah is a northern Christian and he's against invasion, Daniel Bwala is a northern Christian and is against invasion. Again, there are people from the different religions on the two sides of the divide. It's unreasonable to keep insisting that a few of them is all of them. The US has not come to respond to anyone asking for help, stop lying. So why do people like you blame Igbos and generalize it for the crime of a few Igbos? |

There's no monopoly to this, remember. i said that there are more muslims speaking and reacting to their region being turned to Syria or Sudan. The congressman said there's a Christian genocide. He was told that it's a national insecurity issue and many people are affected regardless of religion. He traveled over 12 hours most likely on tax payers money to do fact finding. But ended up not finding any fact about what was explained. It's clear there's something wrong with you and those like you who find it hard to think. Then why are the same Muslims in the north being killed protesting against the U.S coming to help them? The Christians in the north are doing otherwise and asking for help from U.S , the U.S came and responded to those asking for their help... |
