mascot87: Lagos state government should proceed with the undoing demolition of illegal structures in line with the sustainable development goal as quoted. It is not only igbos that have buildings that were demolished in trade fair complex. Why igbos making it seem as if Trade fair is an igboland been demolished by the lagos state government. Few weeks back, a lot of structures were demolished at Oworoshoki and no one tribalised it. Likewise, many illegal structures were demolished across lagos but no noise was made about a particular tribe been targeted. Why only igbos? Are they in only tribe in Lagos? Must they always play victims whenever government policies affect them when it in truth affects every citizens? Lagos state government will not be blackmailed or intimidated in carrying out it's legitimate duties to ensure a safe, health environment for the good of every lagosian. Do you know the story of King Solomon, the 2 women and a child? if you don't, go and read about it and you will know why the Igbos may be crying more than other tribes |

Godfullsam: I don't expect Nigeria to keep borrowing money after subsidy removal and multiple taxation.
Seems like balablu is on a mission to wreck this country Shebi you people said he is an accountant and master strategist, what do you think he supported Buhari 8 years for? There is a saying that if Igbos run away from a place, join them to run away from that place, if Igbos avoid someone join them and avoid the person, if you people like 2027 don't join the Igbos and avoid whoever they avoid and vote whoever they vote for. Shebi they wanted to teach Igbos lesson, now everybody is learning lesson, those who did it with Buhari learnt in a bitter way, those who did it with Tinubu are learning it in a bitter way too, ire o. |

How would they blame IPOB and ESN for this one naau? Agenda is not agending... If Ekpa was roaming free, you would have started reading about a "well coordinated plan" to burn down Kwara and Osun state by "the developers" using IPOB.. Funny thing is, they are the ones ruling Nigeria and have all powers to help themselves, but it seems like the power is useless to them, they only try to use it for evil when it comes to Igbo issues... |

You can appeal to a superior Court but once a court order is pronounced by Supreme Court, you can only appeal to God in heaven.

Moreso, do you know how those behave in that place no government official can seal that place without deploying strong enforcement teams which are always busy and at huge cost. So the government can only schedule when to act. So are you saying deployment of security is more costly than demolition which will still have to carry security operatives along? |

It was legal. Something can be legal and not justified nor moral, the fact that a governor has the legal power to revoke any C of O does not make it justified if he wrongly does it to someone... Is it legal? Yes, Is it justified? NO... |

stanluiz: Yorubas are more concerned about what is happening in lagos. They don't care about the 5 SW states.
Terrorists from Sahel can take over kwara down to osun, Oyo, ekiti, ogun etc. They don't care!! That's the bitter truth.
They are in Lagos chasing what is not chasing them. Once lagos is Ok. The remaining SW states can go to hell.
Have you see them talks about the killings, genocide and occupation on people in kwara. No! Why, they don't care. You just spoke my mind, How can the president and almost all the security chiefs be Yoruba people and yet they are crying for help. Isn't it clear most of them supported Tinubu just for bragging rights and to mock a certain people, I mean these guys don't even call Tinubu out, that's why I'm not taking any Yoruba person shouting state police seriously. Why? Initially they told us only Tinubu can fight Fulani and that Peter Obi is a weakling and Atiku is Fulani, now Tinubu is there failing to even protect them, they are now putting the blame on state police creation, if state police is created and they see it is failing, they look for another thing to start blaming.... Just for a second imagine if it was the Igbos that was killing people all over Nigeria and killing the Yorubas under a Yoruba president, imagine what they would started doing to the Igbos from these very same people, this is a serious matter that concerns them, see how they all avoided the thread. |

The state must get a court order, by justifying the demolition to the court, to do so. Once the court order to demolish the structures are issued, the demolition becomes legal. What is Lagos state destroying these buildings for? |
