Politics › Re: Quit deed claims thief Wike used to transfer Florida properties - Sowore (Pix) by Brendaniel: 11:26am On Sep 21, 2025 |
seunmsg: This quit claim deed has nothing to do with Wike. The property in question belongs to Wike’s wife and this deed was done since 2021 before Wike became FCT Minister. The wife is a judge and I’m sure she can explain how she bought the house in question in 2010.
Again, this deed is a Public record and nothing done in secret. In 2022, the Pandora Papers revealed that Peter Obi laundered billions of dollars and kept them in the name of his under age daughter in British tax haven. Peter Obi did not declare the assets he’s hiding in Asset declaration. That to me is a bigger issue than this witch-hunt effort to link a property owned by Wike’s wife since 2010 to Wike’s term as FCT minister. Ok, let's even assumw it belongs to Wike's wife, how much is her salary to afford properties of over 5 million dollars, do you people think at all before you talk? You people are ready to support evil just because you people believe the evil is on you side, Peter Obi you are talking about has been a business man long before he became governor and a billionaire with verifiable businesses, who was Wike before he became governor? That's why I laugh when you people claim you want a country that works, you people don't want a working country.... |

LordBiden: Sowore must be high on cheap crack.
Are you saying a two terms governor of an oil rich state like rivers cannot afford a mansion in USA without stealing state funds.
I still like wike,at least he is a performer and not like other politicians who steals and still don't perform in office. How much was his salary, how much is his wife's salary? You people just like defending evil, judolisco come and see the man you want for president, I told you he is a complete fraud, do you people ever learn? When I tell those who have been deceived that the biggest killers of the naira are the politicians who steal billions of naira without producing a pin, then mop up dollars that was earned with productivity, send it abroad to buy properties or just keep in their bank accounts. So when dollars that should have been useful for productivity is indirectly stolen through the naira, then the naira gets weaker, importation of goods is a very secondary issue, but the people responsible for the devaluation are lying to you that importation is the biggest problem. |

No more sharing the pictures of him and their god Tinupoo laughing ever again because he has become an enemy number 2 after Obi. He was once an enemy, later became darling and now, he will go back to becoming an enemy again. How this simple and innocent statement will become a threat to them shows you that they know Tinubu falls in that category, you won't see Obidients in Abia attacking Jonathan because they know Otti does not fall into that category. |

PJ123: Thank you brother. Though not in Nigeria, I have family in Nigeria and constantly coming home. And my prayers for Nigeria to be great again.
Nigeria needs to be regionally divided, with each region having full control of their resources while we have weak central government.
Appointments to regional Assembly of law makers must be on part-time basis. Everyone must have his full time job, so every elected regional law makers should be paid allowance per sitting..ASUU in conjunction with each regional labour Congress should lead this fight to make politics less attractive, they shouldn't demand increased wages in the course of this fight so everyone will join them in the struggle.
To fight corruption, we need a strong and sound institutions. Our institutions are quite weak and enabled corruption.
While I was on my PhD outside Nigeria, my bursary was delayed due some mistakes on my own part. I approached my Prof to borrow me 100 Euro, his response shocked me. His response was where do I get that kind of money? This is a German Prof with many many years as Prof. What he did was to call a departmental meeting because of me and told his colleagues about my predicament. They all began to contribute to me and at the end of the day, I even got slightly above 100 Euros. My point they're not rich but they're happy, the working conditions are awesome, they can come to school with bicycles and they will be smiling because the environment is fine. They're not thinking about health needs, standard health care are available for all, they are not afraid of leaving school anytime because of sound security.
I don't know how we got here as a country jaree. It's terrible. So who is gonna implement all these you said? Tinubu? |
Education › Re: Professors Decry Poor Pay, Struggle With Debts by Brendaniel: 10:34am On Sep 20, 2025 |
PJ123: You raised a very good point on who's going to fight for right system? Note that I am not a fan of of all these useless politicians. But ASUU as the major academics in Nigeria ought to have led battle intellectually in conjunction with NLC. Unfortunately, University lecturers are as corrupt as the academics. A professor has fought me seriously before because I was staying in his BQ and his son had a 'D' in my course while I was lecturing in the university. Imagine that a professor of many years asking me a graduate assistant while I would be staying in his BQ, sometimes eating his food and his son would have a 'D' in my course. What was he teaching me. The Prof today is the vice chancellor of the same institution in SW. Those who come to equity must come with clean hands. Our system is corrupt. We need to be regionally divided first. Then region would have to adopt what's best for them. The current model cannot work, and it will not work. Everyone is almost corrupt in that country. Ok, firstly I see you are not in Nigeria, secondly how do you want the solution you are offering to be implemented using the situation that Nigeria is currently in? |
Education › Re: Professors Decry Poor Pay, Struggle With Debts by Brendaniel: 9:45am On Sep 20, 2025 |
PJ123: You seem not to understand the main point. I once told my friend who we lectured briefly together in 2014 in one of the federal universities in SW that ASUU keeps fighting meaningless fights.
There's no point comparing your salary with politicians because politicians are for certain period of time and the process of winning elections in Nigeria is not what an ordinary person can dare or go through. Now back to salary, why not comparing your salaries with primary and secondary schools teachers, why not comparing with other civil servants. You'll agree with me that ASUU salaries is still relatively okay compared to those people. There's no where in the world where academics are paid as politicians. I have got many friends in other African universities including South Africa who left to to take up government appointments or goes into industry on the account of better pay.
The point I was making is that Nigeria is sick and ASUU should start fighting for right system. When there's right system in place, anyone will be fine with his salary. The corruption that goes on in Universities is as alarming as what's obtained among the politicians.
ASUU keeps fighting wrong battle, because they know they're as guilty as politicians. Nigeria needs total and complete overhaul, no government workers is well paid except those stealing. Our health system is in shambles, poor emergency services and may serious issues.
Nigeria needs to be pulled down and rebuilt. The current system is not sustainable. ASUU knows Nigeria needs to be divided along the regional basis before the country can meaningful progress but you'll not see them talking about it because it will diminish their strength. South African Academics are not rich but the environment they operate is as condusive as environment people on the street operate. Good roads for all, stable electricity for all, improved health care for all.
I haven't seen any South African Profs with two cars. But the roads are good , while Nigerian professors parade many cars but the roads are terrible and can be easily kidnapped. Nigeria is sick! Nigeria is sick. We need to pull the system down and rebuild a better system for all and not for some workers only!!!! Then you just indirectly said that the FG is paying a bad minimum wage to Nigerian workers in totality if the professors you claim are earning the highest among the list of workers you mentioned cannot afford flight ticket with their salary, then how about those you mentioned earning lesser than them. You talk about rebuilding the system and fighting corruption, who is going to do that? be sincere with yourself, do you think Tinubu with the type of government he is running will be able to achieve that? I keep asking people who support Tinubu, what exactly did they elect him for? Because I have checked all round and the only reasons I see is for tribal, religious, political or monetary reasons or just clearly being deceived... |

Just imagine the lowest workers abroad earning more than our professors here in Nigeria and yet they are telling Nigerians that they need to pay tax and price of goods and services like those abroad, also telling us that the evil they support is the best thing to happen to Nigeria |

PigTormentor: Ok kid. Let me tell you something about real life - you can have all the brilliant ideas in the world but you will not be to implement them if you never make it to a position that will allow you to.mame such decisions. Tinubu did whatbhe had to do to get to where he needed to get to in order to be able to make these generational changes. He supported Buhari based on his past antecedents of being a strict disciplinarian, a lot of people also di too including myself. Besides, Jonathan was terrible, he was a bad leader and thr country was bleeding badly. It was so bad that the Jonathan regime was borrowing money just to be able to pay salaries. The ideas that Tinubu is implementing today are not the ideas that Buhari believed in. Tinubu is implementing ideas that past Nigerian leaders were scared to implement because they were scared of losing elections. Tinubu is more concerned about doing what's right than about winning next elections. He could have continued just like the rest of them but he chose to go and different difficult route that will be good for the country in the long run. So what you mean is if you are in financial crisis, a thief can decide to steal from you to help you manage your money and multiply it for you? |
