Mafia4life: I use netqin because I was a symbian user. All my contact ar backed up to netqin server. So I should,nt be using another back up contact for the sake of avast anti theft. Having multiple app whereas netqin consist them all isnt too good.

Install avast, activate you anti thief on root. once done, uninstall avast and format your phone. Now change you sim. You will get an alert to the number you registered on avast that your sim has been change and the map location plus distance between yohr registered sim and your phone that the sim was changed on.

Now install netquins, activate your anti thief, priemium user (N100). Now uninstall your netquins, format your phone and change sim. No message right.

The idea is, even if you phone gets stolen and flashed, you will still know where your phone is at.

I remember the good old days, when moms cold afford the time to cook their kids a good breakfast and lunch for them to go to school with.

life was fun back then. Will make sure my kids experience a bit of hat kind of life.

Walking the streets of ph with close to a hundred cv‘s two days after i left camp.

Providing marketing and research abvise via email for products pasted on tuesday guardian. That was how i started a perfume business cos one of those i mailed called me to enlight her more about my ideas.

Thinking of ways to help companies and booking an appointment to talk to them about it, i did this for airflow air conditions on how they can start an installment payment plan for their products via their distributors. took a while but the paid me for developing the plan and research for them.

Though i am still looking for THE JOB, what i have done so far has helped me think more about business and kept body,mind and soul together.

just, whats the code to send for the airtel plan for 1GB that your using,

Guy how far, dont mind the mtn guy, his just pulling ur leg, although mtn works for android, you still need droidvpn for it to work.

If you buy an android tablet with sim, that is not a Galaxy tab, u might as well as be wasting you cash, cos the sim slot will eventually develop a problem.

What type of tab are u using, Qualcom or Huawei.

There are a lot of Home Screen apps for android,Adx,Mx and Go.

But i think, Spb tops them on Providing a 3D user interface for your android phone or tablet.

It provides a total 3D experience for most android phones out there. Though it can be a memory hugged, it still provides an experience that is far worth it.

Bro, the little i have used,(which is a lot) on my lg p350, still tells me android is better, feels better, acts better than a nokia.

Hell because of the little experience i had, i went and bought an android tablet.

Not trying to dis u nokia boys, but seriousily a lot of android users today where former nokia boys(symbian and java alike).

So from experience i have from my symbian phones(3650,5230,N95,E6) and java phones(3110c,5220 expressmusic,) my dingy Lg android phone wipes the floor with the lot of them.

This is from experience, park view(android) rocks.

Mine does have that problem with the sms gateway. What sms app are you using.
Avast has firewall manager, that works like droidwall.

For my backups, i use fileexpert( so far its the only file manage that allows me backup my google play installed apps and system apps as an apk file).

For network manager i use 3G watch dog.

My glo allows me to watch youtube and stream.

But its an android not a bb. The problem with bb is that it has no system adobe flash player. so videos or music on sites wont stream for it. even youtube.

Best way is to download the video by copying and pasting the video link into a site converter.

until the latest updates.
so if you want to tether, you have to update your phone to the latest.

sadly tho, i am not sure if the latest win phone 7 is available for your phone. you may check though.

I use HTC Desire S. Its an android 2.3 phone.

If its a 2.3 you should see teethering option in your wireless and network settings. Its usually named mobile and usb teethering.

Just make sure you mobile internet is on before you use it.

Also set it to wpa wep, if you dont want some lucky bloke with a laptop, picking your bandwidth clean for you.

Constant on time, via internet or gaming or reading, runs down battery on any phone or laptop.

First question are you a gaming person or a chatting person

If gaming, go android.

If chatting go blackberry or nokia or android.

I have used a couple of mobile security apps for android from AVG to Netquins to Lookout. In all of them, there something i have come to notice.

The all hav anti thefts that works, but here is the catch, if you do a system wipe on your phone(settings>privacy> Erase all) the anti theft setting go way.

Meaning that if your phone is stolen and formated. There is nothing the above mentioned security suites can do to trace it, as their app needs to be installed to do thar.

This is where avast, changes things, their anti theft is installed as a system app, that is given device management previleges, and is hidden from all eyes except to the person who installed it.

Meaning it cant be deleted or wiped except by you.

I have done a phone wipe close to 4 times on my phone in the last six months due to low memory via installed apps. After each wipe, i still find avast anti theft running in the background in my task manager. And till date, any time i change my sim on my android phone, avast alerts me on the sim change even when when avast mobile security is not installed.

Buy an android or bb

Install avast, avg or netquins antivirus.

Activate anti thieft on any of them, on avast for android,install anti theft as root, so that even if the thief formats the phone, anti thief, remains as a hidden application they cant uninstall without the password you used to install it.(its installs as a device manager.)

Activate the number you want to report to when the phone gets stolen or missing.

Now if your phone gets stolen or missing. Once the phone connects to the net, the apps will send you its location and the number on it as a that moment.

Since your using Froyo, download gingerbreak via google, it will root your phone and enable you move most apps to sd.

For upgrade to ginger bread or higher. go to you phone page on samsung, there should be an upgrade menu, register and login to apply upgrade.

Or check for “How to upgrade your phone firmware on google“ .

Be advised, you will need you usb cable for the upgrade and you may need to backup you data first before upgrade.

After you have upgraded, look for how to install custom roms or other roms for you phone.

Sorry mate, know next to nothing about the duos. But if your gonna doul out money for an android, look for one with a high proceesor speed eg 2.3Ghz or upward. with about a gig ram. Cos when it comes to gaming on android, particularly hd or 3d games, the higher the ram and Ghz the better.
look for one running on android 2.3 to 4.0 meaning between gingerbread or ice cream sunday.
Lower versions like froyo 2.2 are ok, but there some apps you will feel the functionally more on higher android os. eg skype.

Was there any doubt. Android, except you just want to ping then go for blackberry. But for smart phone Android all the way.

What about glo and airtel, whats their data limit for their Bis plans.

Google just release a new os for android. Jelly Bean, they say its as smooth as butter.

Dont download whatapps from the market via tablet, because it will tell u that its not supported.

Your gonna have to download it via another android phone then send it to your tablet.

If your using Ice cream sunday or android 4.0.0 it will not install. So far its worked on froyo(2.2) and ginger bread(2.3).

And N8500 Health license fee.

Please enlighten us more about what they do, the services they render, cos i went for their said test and interview which turned out to be a pep talk about youths and nigeria plus a tongue lassing by one of their team leaders who kept saying nothing about the firm but more about a health license form and how all youths work for peanuts in useless jobs.

It generally lacked organisation, but all in all the main reason i went was to find out what they do, of which i still did not get it.

i have noticed in this forum that most posts are on one only business or the other, that so far no one here has shown us whether he or her is actually making it in this business they speak of.

this leads me to ask question.

A.Are they actually making it online
B. Are the all a bunch of scams
C. If they have be saying that online business is good for them, which nairalander have they introduced the business to that is making.
D. if any is making it, let him introduce himself or herself and organise a meeting for fellow nairalanders to chhat and find out more.

Please i think if we see nairalander making it via the online business information on this section, people can actually begin to pay attention. if not moderator can start deleting most of the fakes.

I believe we should talk about true business opportunities offline and online, that various business consultants(if they are still here) can look at and help grow.

Why dont you check the phone section, the phone sections market on this forum.

or why dont you buy the used phones they are selling on the phone section and resell them.
