Another thing is app availability.

Most apps come out with iphone android and blackberry user. rarely do you see a symbian version.

Nokia forgets that in this age of the net its apps that drive people, a point iphone and android seems to have gotten while blackberry is catching up on.

The apps may be useless at times but hey it exists for some people who may find it useful. rather than it does not exist at all.

Typical i was looking for a firewall app once for my E6 did not find on at all while on a droid it comes with netquips mobile security or avast or norton security. or if you phone is rooted, you can use droidwall which i found to be the best in the market so far.

Again i was looking for a browser that would not involve me switching from screen to screen. till i found overscreen browser which one can maximize and minimize with out holding the home button.

Was also looking for a mod opera for android,found an opera 6 and 7 mod for it

So you see,its the app thar drives it.

Finally there a crash app out there thats called tasker that i want to pay for.

The app allows you to really turn your phone into and over smart one.

By automatically setting tasks at assign times or locations.

Like lowering the screen brightness when your indoors and increasing it when your outside,turning on your wifi when your at your favourote wifi hot spot.switching to flight mode when in a plane as it raises. Opens a connecting at your wake up time on your browser to your favourite pages. The app does all this by itself,after you set it up.

i have used nokia phones well. 3650 5230,5220 expressmusic,3110c,N90,N95,E71 and E6.

when i was on the E71 my bro bought a huawei ideos phone and my sis bought a bold 2.

I was more impressed with the ideoscos it ran on an android os. yes his battery life was short till he installed some battery saving app on it,which made it last longer.

Most times on my E71 my internet is onlinebecause of nimbuzz abd some other messenger apps so my battery did not last long but the ideos did last long even with his net always on cos he uses wireless some times and 3G.

What amazed me bout rhe android was the apps. for each app he had on ideos, i looked for it on ovi store,symbian forums and throught google index,i could not locate it or an alternative of it.
Not to mention the games on the android,not the dingy ones,cos my brother is a gameloft ea freak,he buys his games from them. the HD ones like need for speed shift,hot pursuit,Assasins creed altair. The graphics for those games amazed me.

My Nokia E71 developed a fault so i had to buy and E6.

Thats when my bro started playing splinter cell HD and Chao 3 on his phone.

I sold the phone 2 weeks later and bough an lg droid and a droid tablet.

i am constantly download apps on a daylow,cos the are just too much. the 3D live wallpapers are to die for.
The 3D HD games are kill,Current have asphalt 5 HD and Asphalt 6 adrenaline,need for speed shift,Nova 3 and mass effect inflitrator shared between my phone and my sim.

Being an old diehard nokia fan symbian and java,i just have this to say. You need to try a droid or see someone truly use it well to understand why symbian is not worth it.

There was a time i made that same noise about symbian even being better than android and blackberry(me i know say e better pass blackberry any day). But the truth is,its not,
Still dont believe it is.
do a simple google search of

total symbian apps and users in the market.
total android apps and users in the market.
Leading phone os in this year.

Symbian is low on all those list.
Nokia as a phone brand is had hit on the market also.

They over painted one's are worst.
Only one girl that i saw so far that had make up that complimented her skin, very dark black in complesion but skin that just glowed. She was not to fine. But she worked on the things that made her seem unique hair clothes and eye.

Used instagram once,deleted iy immediately. still cant see what the hype was about. it effects aint much compare to some others on iphone store and google play.

I have used a lot of them
from camerafx to paper camera.

I prefer,Camero 360 ultimate for my Camera effects when snapping a pic.
Use Pix-li-omatic for much more effects,and frames and boy do these dudes have effects.
Also use picsay for adding brightness tone and texture to a dull image.
And picart pro for basic photoshop type editing on mobile,make selection,cut and paste.

Instagram is just too basic for me,but i am always in search for that photoshop type experience on mobile that wont pince ur pocket.
