To be clear, the functionality you're describing is something we've had suggested to us. and I believe it's in development. We're very focused on building the best product in the space, but we still have to prioritise new features. To reiterate, you're looking for the ability to highlight multiple accounts and see the top metrics for all highlighted accounts. Is that right?

Please who can help me with the full text of: "To be clear, the functionality describing the something...".. Who can help me complete it please??

When you do HLC calls, you'll do more of crying than laughing. Menh!! Poverty dy everywhere I swear to God. I was on a call that I almost cried for the woman. Her daughter had an operation, she lost her 8 months pregnancy as she was climbing up and down the hospital stairs. Her husband left her because he was unable to provide for the family. That call touched my bone marrow as she was just crying all through the call cry. Well, it was a 5 Sha grin
I did one a long time ago. Insurance company, sha. I was on tears while on the call.
The lady lost her house to fire, insurance company denied her, they were living in her car. Her only son, 34, was an slowpoke too. Sad.

For those who are still new to Qa. Don't worry about your ratings yet. Because I'm pretty sure it's because you are still new. Trust me, when I started I hardly hear what those white guys say. I detest using "the release button". So I would prefer to have mis-heards than letting it go. I've had countless of 1s and 2s ratings. Whenever I get a 3, I dance my ass out grin. But that's way gone now. I can easily hear what they say with my cheap ear piece and still come back having a 5. The only trick is consistency and persistency. You will want to get tired, a time will come that you will wail and log out of Qa. After working on a call for hours and you were rated 2, which is $0. Here comes the re-do courtesy but to no avail, you got a 2 again... Don't worry, just keep doing it and you will see a result. The goal is not to hear what they are saying but to enjoy their conversations. Laugh and smile on a call and you will find it easier to finish a call in a very short time...
Cheers.
@italics I do that a lot, most times I laugh along with them, like I'm on the call with them grin
It makes the job fun. And truly, before you know it, you're done.

Good day everyone.
I have tried taking my test but clip 3 has been showing even with the refreshing that I have been doing since 2 days. I have read the thread from page 1-70 and could not find script to clip 3. I don'y want to fail the test. Can someone please help me with the script for clip 3?

Thank you.

If a customer or rep calls out an email address by spelling the alphabets, and maybe numbers in some cases. Should I still write the email address in full after I've written it the way it was spelled out?
If the email address was spelt out, please spell it. If it was mentioned alone, transcribe it. If it was mentioned and spelled, transcribe it and spell it out too.
Overall, make sure you're turning in a transcript that is easy to read and understand.

Chai!!
I've been doing all these wrongly.
Thanks a million times.
But sir, some words especially names and some sentences are not always clear.
This gives me headache to decipher what was said.

Is it earphone? How do I improve on that?

Your answer is a classic.

Copied already.

Thanks a lot.
samsard:
I use a laptop. (I use to use my phone)
A cheap Samsung earpiece, costs just 500 and which is probably knockoff.
If a sentence isn't clear? Probably listen further into the call and it'd become clearer as you get the context. Or use Google.
Just Chrome browser, FX sound, and Grammarly plus Ginger for grammar check.
There are no shortcuts like using apps to get AI transcripts.
Tips? Google terms, phrases, places, zip codes etc to understand the context. Capitalize all proper nouns and brand properly (iPhone, not Iphone, MasterCard, not Mastercard, etc.
Sometimes you have to take a break from a call to let your brain process.
Make shorter statements. Qa hates long statements that look like endlessness.
If the bolded doesn't help, just use the inaudible sign, [...].

Or, you do like I do, just release the call and get another... I can't come and keee myself... grin

Thank you sir for your assistance.
Please how does one handle these below

When a REP. Is talking and the customer talks in between while the REP. Continues talking?

If the customer's speech is in response to a direct question, transcribe it, and continue with the rep. Otherwise, ignore the customer and continue with the rep.

Can one delete timestamp or leave it blank?

Leave it blank. Either way, it doesn't matter, so long as all what is being said is transcribed.

If a statement was made in a timestamp but completed in the next timestamp, how does one write it?
Should it be written on the first timestamp, or all sentences carried over to the proceeding timestamp where the statement was completed?

Transcribe the statement starting from the first timestamp and continue in the preceding timestamps. I said 'continue', meaning, in the preceding timestamps, you don't have to begin with a capital letter, except where necessary.

How does one use ellipses correctly?

A speaker trails off, and continues with another line of speech; when a speaker is interrupted. i.e.
Customer: I was thinking of booking... Anyway, what is the benefit of purchasing battery for my system?
OR
Rep: I think this cruise is ideal for a family vacation, as it affords you the...
Customer: What's the duration of the cruise and how much is it?

Notice in the above examples, there's no space between the last spoken word and the ellipses.
I picked a call last night and noticed the previous transcriber left a space between the last spoken word and the ellipses. That is wrong.
Thanks in anticipation.

I have been having 1 as my rating.

First time I'm exhausting my release tokens. Been plagued with teribbly bad speakers as customers. Even the rep finds it difficult to decipher what they're saying.
Quant Assure, wasn't spared either. Picked a 35mins call late last night...only to release the call due to customer with terribly bad accent! embarassed

I guess I got over my fear of multiple speaker calls. And, first identifying the customer(s) and rep(s) helps too.

I still don't feel ready to buy a name yet. I'm currently working on the ability to spot a good geo+service name.

I also don't know the meaning of those abbreviations on the ED dashboard. Would anybody be kind enough to tell me what they mean, please?
