What means of survival are available for students schooling in China?

I understand that Internships and founding a business are key ways, but how easy does one get the internship?

Also, are student jobs available as well?

Finally, i have got eyes on the M.Sc Operations and Supply Chain Management at Xian Jaotong University, and they said i must send in my application before June 30th. DOes this mean resumption time is September?

Please enlighten me guys
How did it go?

Hi
Some PTDF Scholars left Nigeria for China(Changchung) on Mon (3rd) of this month. We've not heard from any of them. I'll like to know if there is a way to reach them. Just to be sure of their arrival.

Or better still, if their is a way to reach the first batch that traveled last month
Hi. Is this scholarship scheme still offered? What's the process of applying, generally, to study in China? Admission, visa and scholarship. Any insightful response will be appreciated.
EducationRe: Nigerian Students In China by brijibs: 1:38pm On Dec 29, 2019
Hello all. Gone through some pages of this thread and all I've seen so far, unlike other such threads, is that you only worry about getting the admission letter from the school you intend to study at. What about getting the visa? Or, are you assured a visa when you get admitted by the school?
Secondly, am I late to start the process? I'm just filling application at the school's site.

Me, I'm off to dreamland. Maybe I'll dream that I finally got over that dreaded accent.

It's far from logic o...
First off, you can only claim one call at a time per account.
So, if truly he's an army of transcribers, they should all transcribe from his account baa?
Are you getting my logic? wink

I said so because I was once marked down because of this.

If a speaker says, "One grand". You can transcribe as $1000, or £1000 as the case may be. Same thing goes for two grand, three grand or any kind of grand.
But once someone says something like, "Six and a half grand". If you transcribe it as $6500 or £6500, you might get away with it if you're being rated by a lenient rater.
But if it's someone like {30}. Trust me, you won't get away with it.

But just do whatever work for you, sha.
Then, you should dispute that rating. Get a clarification from Slack. Take it up with Arlen. Whatever you have to do to get clarity. That was not a valid point. Like @Samsard pointed out, a quarter million = $250,000. How much more a grand and a half. It's $1500, bro.

undecided embarassed huh
Samxie:
This is wrong.
Check the FAQ rule for fractions. It should be, "Two and a half grand".

If you want to know how Efosa and others hit the huge minutes weekly? Its simply planning their time and being disciplined with it. Take it as a full time job and also standby light. If you want to work 10-15 hours a day? Do it. create a work schedule and stick with it no matter what, that's discipline.
Nice comment, I'm impressed. cool

Daddy GO, I understand you now. But why is it wrong to type the correct name of company here? Is the company name restricted information?
I believe you read and agreed to their privacy agreement? The part that has to do with their clients?

If I search the company name on Google, won't I find it there? Can someone please enlighten me as to why we can't post company names here?
Or, maybe you should contact Arlen on Slack. She'd be better positioned to answer appropriately.

I have gotten the card, and have linked it to my PayPal account. The $1.59 deduction, code/account verification and other stuffs have been done.

Pls how do I transfer the money in the PayPal to the UBA card?
Nice. Click 'withdraw' on the dashboard. Follow the prompts, input the desired amount and confirm. Bear in mind, a $5 withdrawal fee'll be deducted. And, considering it's your 1st withdrawal, you might have to wait 72hrs.

Hi guys,
I am new to this thread, and I find it very interesting, I want to sign up as soon as possible, but I have a question.
Can I open the PayPal account for now without linking the UBA card, and be accumulating the funds till I am able to go to the bank? Which will likely be January?

Or should I just wait till January to sign up
YES. Most of us did same. Accumulate funds and when you getnthe card, you link and withdraw.
Join the van ASAP.

Thanks man. Please advise me on the PayPal limitation issue I posted above.
I guess you have to heed them... Allow them up to 72hrs to verify the info you provided.
If it persists, call customer service, and have them fix it permanently.
If that fails, you can proceed to abandon and create a new account.

If I can do something similar to that for some change, it would be really cool.

How do I approach this biz?

I have read the first 5 pages of this thread. Do I need to read up the thread before taking action? (No time)
