barleeh: Same here, I applied on the 7th of December, No response. My flight date is in few days time. Usually, they should still issue your visa irrespective. I have had similar situations with other countries such as UK before. U do not need to do anything, They will still issue your visa if it’s approved even though your travel date has passed. Hello Chief , have you gotten any response from Sa ? |

The stupid agent won’t reach out to them and I’ve been keeping the proof of found in my account ever since which I need to spend from now . Flight and hotel that I booked has expired since January |

Indigbo: If you want to get a Schengen visa as first timer with or without traveling experience, just apply to Lithuania, Latvia or Croatia. Thank me later. The issue with these countries and Finland is , they barely have appointments dates . I want to ask , I’ve tried Poland and France and got denied at both embassies , can I try any of the countries you mentioned? |

Stephen2324: One wrong sex fit steal your peace for life This is so true . Went back to an ex , I contracted h-pylori bacteria from kissing her and my life hasn’t remained the same . The Bacteria ate my stomach lining and caused me gastritis. And I now battle with bad breath ( due to inflamed gut ) that I hated with passion . I wish I never met that girl in the first place , I now pretend like I don’t know her whenever I see her . Good thing is I’ve healed to an extent but my gut is messed up but I’m a fighter , I’ll never give up till I’m completely healed |

zizle87: Do you have any travel history?. To me , with all the documents u submitted, it’s actually enough for you to be granted . I just see that documentation to them these days are not enough anymore. Good travel history is what cuts it and being active on a 9 to 5 in a credible company. Appealing is a 5 percent chance especially when your travel is just for tourism. I had all my documents just like u and an invitation and got denied twice . They are very unpredictable Exactly what I wanted to say . Travel to countries like SA , Morocco and Turkey , leave these countries before your visa expires then apply again attaching your travel history, they’d grant you the visa |

zizle87: Don’t overthink it. First time applications usually get these 3 reasons . I got it in same order and I almost freaked out knowing I submitted original documents and they probably thought it was fake. What it actually means is that there’s no way to verify that those documents are original so it’s better to use documents that they can verify probably through an office etc, then you need a strong proof of home ties. It says reasons for your intended visit doesn’t seem reliable. Your tours and itinerary isn’t organized. Probably looked like you just put anything just to get into the country. Apply again . Check the area you are visiting, research the spots that you would like to visit, book a hotel close to it, be organized and pay attention to details. Dont just let an agent do it for you. Follow the process because in truth if you really are to visit these places, you need to know how to get there from where you are lodged. Goodluck Yes , the rubbish agent I used put anything on the itinerary. When she sent it to me to print out , I booked just one fun activity which I messed up somehow. I’ve learnt my lesson and making research . When you said I should book my hotel close to the fun activity locations , how close should it be please ? The ones i saw on booking.com and Viator are 40-50 mins close by walk and 20-25mins close by cab. Let me know if that’s okay |

Travel › Re: How Many Days Will It Take Me From Nigeria To Gambia by Brispy: 12:50am On Nov 01, 2023 |
Kobicove: The only requirement is a valid passport and your ticket (Preferably return ticket), you don't need a visa.
However, some countries require that you also do a vaccination against Yellow fever and get a card as evidence of having done this.
You don't need to book a hotel here before leaving but I will advise you go online to get a list of possible hotels within your budget in the area where you're going. Alright, thank One more question please, do I have to pay Gambian immigration for anything at the point of entry? |
Travel › Re: How Many Days Will It Take Me From Nigeria To Gambia by Brispy: 4:30pm On Oct 31, 2023 |
Kobicove: I have gone to Gambia twice but both trips were by air, I have also gone to to Ghana several times (Ghana is like a mid point between Nigeria and Ghana); a journey by road from Nigeria to Ghana will take you at least a full day therefore there is no way you can complete the journey to Gambia by road within a day.
There is no way you can complete the journey by road without spending the night in a hotel or a bus terminal so make sure you prepare very well for it I’m planing to go to Gambia soon . I want to know the requirements at the airport. And do I have to book a return ticket and hotel from Nigeria ? |

Travel › Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Brispy: 5:44pm On Oct 30, 2023 |
Africankel: It could be the reason, it also could not be. Schengen visa refusals are generic. Only Scandinavian countries within the region give elaborate reasons for refusals.
You can reapply at anytime, correct the errors in your itinerary and also write a cover letter with compelling reasons to return to your home country.
In addition, where did you book your hotel? What kind of hotel did you book? Is the hotel popular to tourists, or you just booked a hotel anywhere because it is cheap? What is the hotel's proximity to places you need to visit? What is also the distance between one tourist attractions to the other? Try to make sure you don't visit one area twice, eg, visiting Louvre Museum on Monday, and Notre Dame on Tuesday. Both are in the same area. A visa officer officer would assume that if you know where you are going, having researched properly, you should be able to visit these places in one day.
Your application should show that you have don extensive research on the city, hence have a justified reason to visit.
Good luck I paid an agent to book the hotel , flight and health insurance so I have no idea of the proximity But I’d put these things into consideration You said I can reapply anytime , I heard I have to wait for a month to reapply, I don’t know how true that is |

4newguy: This was the message that was contained in the parcel sent to me. "The information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable”.
I submitted all my documents although vfs officer at Abuja took out my marriage certificate, deed of transfer of some properties, tenancy agreement, marriage photos saying it's not needed and I included this in my cover letter I had similar refusal letter . Have you reapplied? If yes , did you get it ? |
Travel › Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Brispy: 4:50pm On Oct 30, 2023 |
Everly14: Based on the documents you provided, I didn't find a marriage certificate or birth certificates for children. This absence might suggest you're single, which could have influenced the rejection as it may have left them unconvinced about your family ties. Yes I’m single but that isn’t the reason for refusal otherwise it would have been stated , but what is your opinion ? |

pufframmy: so sad u can repackage and refire
what are the document u submitted q - Itinerary ( which has some typographical errors) - Tickets to 1 of the 9 activities I intend to do in France , I have No tickets to the other 8 activities, I just wrote it ) - Purpose of travel - Cac, my id , my company’s letter head introducing myself and tax certificate . - Past travel visa ( Dubai ) exit and entry stamps - Flight and hotel reservations -10million bal 3 months statement of account with $20k dollar account - 2 separate lands documents with pictures describing the purpose each land serves - Two cars payment receipts I bought on an auction website -Travel insurance Should I have added more ? My reason for refusal is “ The information submitted regarding the justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not reliable “ I think that has to do with my itinerary ,I’m supposed to travel for 10 days but the heading of the itinerary was “ 5 days travel itinerary for ( my full name ) “ it ought to be written as “ 10 days travel itinerary for ( my full name ) “ And another error on the itinerary is , the only ticket I booked online is scheduled for 19th of November but it was written on the 21st of November , I didn’t even know how I made such mistakes, so I guess all of these errors confused the visa officer But let me know your opinion guys I attached a copy of the itinerary for better understanding I added the tour ticket as well
