So dey held on to ur application.
A friend had a similar experience.

that diva: @britiko UCI number is not same as application number, and i think most of us got to know ours wen the medical forms were sent to us. Its clearly written on the medical report form. uCI, IME!application number, etc

ChriGo: nope they are nt d same.... UCI number is ur unique canada visa application numba...ur tracking numba is just d vfs numba to knw d status of ur application on vfs website.....i wish u all d best my bro...

Called for medicals-Aug 2
Did medicals-Aug 7 (at Consultant's practice, Lagos)
Submitted tution receipts for a year and board (security deposit)-Aug 15
Got a call from CDHC asking if i had paid d one year tuition (funny question)-Aug 28
Faith carry me go VFS-Aug 29 (chop visa that day).

Was a letter of intent included in ur application?
Is it possible dat wat u were telling d VO was totally diff from what
U had in ur letter? Did u draft it urself?
From ur travel history uve never faced a VO for a travel visa.
Learning point for U :
Its important u maintain a good body language.
Maintaining eye contact with d Vo while speaking,is important.
being nervous, sweating, holding of hands/playing with ur fingers, a shaky voice
And a lot more shows lack of confidence and desperation.
As for ties- do an evaluation of ur properties, don't just add d land docs.
A good statement of account.
In all, pls do not forget d place of God.
U can reapply.

hmm, hi peeps. following this thread since jan. its been helpful.
used an agent, submitted may 24th paper route. still awaiting medic call.
@kayconsult , you are very ryt. all medic awaitees shld be proactive.
2 wks isn't enof for medicals and trv. get a new start date.
some courses get filled up earlier than others, just like HRM @ humber college.
I mailed my schl yesterday, explaining dat there was a delay in issuance of my visa from the embassy.
and requested for a new startdate since September 16th isn't feasible.
the only miracle dat can make 16th feasible is if medials is waived and we all know it aint possible.
