A US based Nigerian medical doctor has shot his wife and thereafter turned the gun on himself.

The incident happened in Texas , Saturday morning .

The couple whose wife is a nurse are blessed with three children.

No one could tell the reason for his action but this is how USA based veteran journalist Azuka Jebose reported the incident.

I have read several comments that says ladies only borrow clothes, accessories, mocks and run down each other.

I beg to differ and say I've bn opportuned to have met and be surrounded by ladies of substance.

Intellectually sound ladies that goes all the way to encourage and mentor other ladies to be financially self sufficient. A typical example is a friend by d name Seun Akinlotan who mentors young ladies in South West Nigeria to become entrepreneurs despite d fact that she lives in the USA. She's on YouTube and Facebook. You can verify and see her works.

I have friends that might not give you fish except you are in dire need but will teach you to fish so as to become self made and financially independent.

I've got ladies that helps you to become a better self careerwise. Show you the ropes and the rest is left to you.

My friend arrange gigs when I'm broke and splits profits so I can take care of my needs.

Personally, I reach out to ladies in need of financial help around me and sometimes anonymously through my church.

Another example of a selfless lady is the late Ibidunni who helps families with fertility issues. She did bless a lot of families before her demise.

For about 5 years now I've been battling extreme tiredness . Asides that I sleep alot most especially at afternoons. At night,nonce I sleep around 11pm and not going to work the next day, I can wake up by 10am or 11 am.

During afternoon and night sleeps, the sleep is usually very deep (REM phase or whatever you medics call it, please correct me) and usually characterized by heavy dreams.

Even during work, I'll always take the risk to create some time to have a little sleep. I've been battling this for about 5 years now. What could be wrong.

Consult a doctor and check your iron level and run other tests. 5 yrs is a long time to keep quiet though.

The truth is, I desire to marry him because we already have a child together. I love the relationship between him and our son. I want to have a peaceful family. He can't change .You can never change a grown man, you can only learn to tolerate. He's possessive and would be manipulating and controlling.
When confronted about his monitoring attitude, he will claim its because he loves you. He will also manipulate you to do away with close friends that help you, even ur family members. (He might claim that once you are married, its you and ur family) Never fall for that, else you will be at his mercy even when he maltreats you.

My dear you will never be independent of taking decisions. He would complain you are not carrying him along and that's why he wants to know every bit of ur move- to be in control.

There is avery thin line between love and hate and when he abandoned you, you crossed dat line. If you agree to marry him, you will always recall the hurt. If care is not taken, it will cause resentment from you towards d relationship and unfortunately, you don't av a control over that feeling. And that's why you don't feel any love for him even when he apologizes about his past.

Now to your future, do you want to endure your marriage just because he's ur sons father and society expects u to marry him or you really want a happy marriage with someone you love?

Its up to you to decide. I will say, Let him go... Life is too short to be married and be unhappy in it.
