I would av asked to know if u had done medicals? If yes, then it would be ur visa.
Surprisingly, medics does not guarantee trv again.
So stay calm and go get ur package.
As long as all requirements by the embassy were met by U as at when due, all is well.

Its so sad to be denied after medics.
The place of prayer cannot be over- emphasized.

Its not by power nor by might but by MY SPIRIT says the Lord.
In as much as I feel so depressed & scared right now, I keep saying to myself, that the lord has not given unto us the spirit of fear, but of LOVE, of POWER, and of a SOUND MIND.

Itstyme: FYI, looking at standards, services and aircraft comfortability , Ethiopia is way better than Qatar. They ve got all what u might desire in an air travel but just the name Ethiopia seems scary to you which isn't so at all. Go figure...

D last tym I got close to boarding an ethiopian plane at doha, I backed out. It was more of a flying coffin. Very old and rickety looking. I know ethiopian is better than some of our local airlines, but not qatar and emirates. I fly only arik within.

8million naira is a lot to think u shldnt be denied. But for a coy account, the VO might consider other things like, the overhead running cost, staff salaries, d coy will pay nepa bills, dey run on diesel-no stable power supply,and the likes. (Pls pardon me, I'm not an accountant but I know there are diff types of costs). And still take care of ur tuition, board and living expenses.
Also, d number of signatories to d account matters.
If there are two or more signatories to d account, it simply implies dat ur sponsor does not av total control over d coy's funds.
If its a partnership business, did u include a sponsorship affidavit co-signed by d other signatories to d account?

So, let dad use his personal statement of account. Where he is a sole signatory.(D cash is entirely for himself and his family's benefit)

For d highlighted parts of d telex copy-
Was d wire transfer for tuition initiated frm d coys account or a separate account entirely and d SOA of dis sepearte account not included in ur application?
It must av been highlighted cos of contradictions.

Is it on financial basis?
From my calculations, apart frm ur tuition you need an extra 18,000 cad. ( Board = roughly 8,000cad and 1 year living expense of 10,000 cad minimum) which amts to 3,060,000 rough estimate.
Your statement of account reads 3.8M. Which means he wld av 740,000 balance and I believe he has other dependants and financial commitments.

My advice- let him increase d cash in his account.
The VO's considers d number of dependants a sponsor has.
Also, relax and calm down. Other pple like xtus were denied also, but today dey av dier trvs. So, ur dreams and aspirations will be fulfilled IJN.
Make necessary adjustments and re-apply.
The joy of d lord is ur strenght. Shallom!

Its either of two answers:
"We are still processing ur application, we will contact u as soon as a decision is made. Thank you."

Or

U will be handed ur medics form.

Really deres no hard or fast rule concerning dis
Its not in d embassy's requirement for application.
However, some schls ask for initial deposits like d first semester fees for u to secure a space in ur chosen programme while some don't. Some schls only give u a payment of fees due date.after which u might be withdrawn from ur programme if u avnt paid.
Also, it might indicate desperation to d VO.
(U paying without being asked to- dis my agent told me)
On the other hand , it might mean u are really serious and financially bouyant in pursuing ur academics.
In all of this, it doesn't affect ur application. Whether u pay or not u will get ur trv, God willing.
And most times tuition and board payment instruction comes with ur medics except in rare cases like chrigo's.

Normally all skools in canada are all aware of the delay from their embassies worldwide, so you dont get your visa ontime doesnt mean they deny u 4kusd na, haba , no be small money ooo... like mine was automatically shifted to Jan since i couldnt meet up with sept intake as a result of cdhc delays. Just pondering sha..

kclexa: Please this should act as a warning to all TRV awaities. If your visa is not ready before the semester resumption date, you are adviced to inform the school on time.

Most cases, you would be adviced to apply for deferment and possibly pay an equivalent application fee. Or your full tuition deposit will be refunded.

But if you don't inform the school on time, you stand to loose a sizely chunk of your tuition deposit.
Please no dulling, always read your terms and conditions abi na little prints.

joe sedi: I applied in april n got to do medics in july,later I was futher instructed to pay fees which I did but there was no response,till I had miss my sept section but was called instead to complete my fees in oct but the school had deducted. $4000 for not resuming in sept n gave me a balance receipt of over $13000 which submitted along with a letter dat am resuming in jan.Its bin 3 weeks now without a response,I even email cdhc recently,is there any one have similar delay cos I am thinking of storming next week.cheers

Do u forfeit up to dat amt? Is dat d terms and condtns attached to ur schl fees payment?
I tot its arnd 500 dols. But then it isn't ur fault u didn't get d visa as @ ur resumption time.
