Shame on those that voted for inexperience, ineffective and cleptomanic jonathan over experinced, discipline and effective Buhari mainly cos of tribe and religion, now chicken is coming home to roost, jonathans secret are now leaking out , after 100 days in office all we see is negative achievement, no wonder the cu.nt was quick to recognise the rebels in libya as a legitimate governement at the order of the USA embassy in Abuja . i hate to see how jonathan has sold out the country to the west and betterstill, it depresses me that the freaking womanliness still have like 4 years to demolish and give all the nations resources away for free.

I just hope Gadaffi can run for election in Nigeria, he surely have my vote than some cowboy Ph.d in ijaw studies
You just started the tears,be ready to cry till 015. F.Y.I,i will vote for GEJ again if he stands against the likes of ayotollah buhari laden in the future.

Yaradua turned kastina into heaven on earth abi and you guys are not trooping in there like calabar , nigerians never knew much abt yaradua until few weeks to the election, jonathan has always been in the limelight  with decent pedigree n as a person that respect the rule of law, As i can remember, jonathan told no one to fight for him for anything prior to him becoming the president. as a deputy governor,he did not assume office like akala, jonathan is not that greedy as he has demonstrated, the kastina and northern clique you guys sing praises for kept this country like this and i want this same clique that went about forging yaradua's signature to loot money face trail and give account on how the left this country without a president for more than 3months unconstitutionally, by the way,how many years was jonathan   governor in bayelsa?

WHAT I SEE YARADUA ASSOCIATES AND KASTINA CLIQUE AFRAID OF WAS THE FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN, THANK GOD WE DONT HEAR OF SOUTH SOUTH CLIQUE,JONATHAN CLIQUE,JO BOYS OR IJAW/BAYELSA CLIQUE AT ANY LEVEL, SHOULD NOT YOU GUY BE GRATEFUL?

ShipIt:
I'm not surprised. Obas is the shrewdest politician Nija has ever seen. He is more shrewd than Abacha was ruthless. Our country will have extreme difficulty progressing as long as the likes of Obas and IBB are still walking this earth like the dinosaurs that they are.
just hve in mind that ribadu was saying all these in self consolation and defence. he needed int'l pressure to help keep his job at the time. i will not fully believe him on this leak

When will concerned nigerians hunt down thieves-traitors like ibb and obj and lynch them like they lynch unfortunate common thieves with tyres and petrol, instead of bothering with what them sick selves say to on another? Bothering with them makes them feel relevant.
Media Pitched Me Against Obj –ibb

Former Military president General  Ibrahim Babangida is singing a different tune on his recent stand-off with former President  Olusegun Obasanjo. He blamed  the press for pitching the two of them against each other.

Babangida, in firing the first salvo  against Obasanjo, had dismissed as a  waste, the $16 billion earmarked for power projects between 1999 and 2007 by  the administration  of Obasanjo.

Obasanjo  immediately replied and called Babangida a fool while Babangida in a counter reaction described Obasanjo as a bigger fool.

The verbal war took   place last month during Babangida’s 70th birthday.

The stand-off incensed many Nigerians who called them names.

However, Babangida on Wednesday night  said what the press reported was not “what l meant”.

“That was not what l meant.  This (report) has made me to lose some of my friends. No thanks to you journalists”, he said after paying a Sallah visit, in the company of another Military Head of  State General  Abdulasalmi Abubakar to Acting Governor Ahmed Musa Ibeto of Niger  State in Minna.

He said Obasanjo was his boss and remained so even now.

He said the press  and not politicians, is overheating the polity,

Contributing to the interview, Abubakar advised the media to be mindful of their stories, urging them to avoid reports that can overheat the  polity. But when told that  politicians should be blamed for overheating  the polity, Babangida interjected, and said: “No, no you (journalists) are the ones overheating the polity; even recently you (Journalists) overheated me.”

Babangida said the way the press handled the stand-off was unimaginative and wasteful.

On his alleged plan  to remarry, Babangida said: “At 70, you are talking of wedding bells? Forget it”.

The former military leader told their host that their visit was in accordance with tradition as he and Abdulsalami always pay homage to the  governor during  Sallah celebration to wish him well and to offer advice to the government.

He said: “We are here to pay homage to the governor, as a tradition we have adopted and we hope to continue to do it as long as Allah spares our lives we will continue to come, to nudge and to encourage you to continue the good work you have been doing for the state.”

Responding the acting governor appreciated the two leaders for their visit and promised that the government will continue to rely on the wealth of experience of these leaders, saying, “ we are proud to have the two of you in this state and we will continue to depend on your goodwill and experience.”

Thank you jorr, i've been looking for the quote by a non-nigerian UN person ,

we are always quick to label Nigeria as the devil, see him claiming that 100 bodies were brought to the national hospital morgue thats a terrible lie cos i happened to be there that day and i still know how to count ambulances that came straight to the morgue was about 8 - 12 some of them carrying 2 body bags, just wondering why the lie?? is it to fuel hatred, the bomb blast is bad enough,
Nigerians are part of the problem of Nigeria. Thanks for your clear write up.Big shame to this poster and his types!

PoliticsRe: Can Jonathan Really Handle Things In Nigeria? by brixton: 11:03am On Aug 27, 2011
Are we going to keep waiting for God to pop a hand from heaven to rescue our country, families and loved ones? Alot of Libyans had to leave their comfort zone to go back to Libya to fight in ousting Kadafi (an example of fighting for what is yours). I am just as helpless as many of us on NL.There are 3 kind of persons;those who notice a problem, some talk about it,others react by helping to solve the problem. We only get on NL make huge noise, speak bigger grammer than Englishmen or start some nonsense tribal war of words. Can we start an active forum where ideas can be generated, pushed to a realistic level and also see through its implementation? Atleast,we can contribute this to Nation building. We can not keep referring to the president as if he is enjoying all the negative news/reports,its a collective sham cos Nigeria is a name and we are the persons named NIGERIA. We know the many dimension of Nigeria and Nigerians,Lets not leave Nigeria to rot cos we will all have shares of her rot. This is beyond words and being the president does not guarantee safety or stop acts of terrorism. I am disturbed about yesterday's blast and it could have been anyone in that building. We do not have to wait until it happen to our family or those we know before we take actions.I know NLers are high level thinkers with good intentions for our country, but just words can not solve our problems. We can have a movement with a realistic/active plan to give back to our country . Westerners are not going to come over to fix our country. Nigeria is our country,it is part of our duty to correct these wrongs in our country, My emotions are running high.
