Young man, humble yourself so that God will uplift you. Moreover, don't think you are the best in Mathematics on this forum base on your class of degree or the number of questions you solve here. I, for example, qualified and represented my school in the prestigious mathematics cowbell competition. I also scored 89 in mathematics(jamb). All the mathematics courses I offered during my university days I scored A's, there was even one I and only a lady out of 150 students got A.My dear I'm only saying this for you to stop boasting because there is always a someone better than you but grace might put you ahead of that person.

What university did you graduate from?

Nepotism will eventually finish this country. It's funny how some people expects roadside mechanics and fishermen to be shortlisted for the NNPC jobs interview.
If not for the quota system that is still in play in place of purely merit based selection, some states and LGA will have zero candidates still in contention by now.

Young Lady, your comment is very unfair. Please desist from such.

If you were truly invited you will see they asked for original documents, plus 6 copies of your CV. they later sent a message that you also come along with photocopies of the original documents. Just a copy each of the documents is required, plus the original, plus 6 copies of CV.

I know 6 copies of cv and copy of originals, this is the first I am seeing of 5 copies of original.

Truly invited candidate.........I wish you success lipsrsealed

How tall are you?
What are the uses of traps?
The normal questions were...
Why do you want to work with NNPC?
What is the first thing you do when you come to work?Which one will you attend to first when you have different duties to do at work?
#I believe this recruitment will be highly based on luck

Bros, lemme tell you a story. In 2012, a very pregnant me traveled from Bayelsa to Abuja for standard organisation of Nigeria (SON) interview.

When it got to my turn I was asked "may we know you"? After answering, I was asked If I was computer literate
I listed like 5 programming language that I am very conversant with. The panel was 5 persons, 4 men and one igbo woman. St this point I was seriously impressing the men and they where nodding.

Omo, that is how this woman now asked who is the DG of SON. I sincerely responded that I do not know. She asked " so what do you know about SON". I apologetically said I know nothing. Omo, you need to see when this woman para, that it is not my type they are looking for here, that I am one sided and all I know is book. On this note my interview ended.

I got back home told my hubby and his elder brother what happened, we put it down as a learning experience and forgot about the job.

3 months later, I got a call from the DG's secretary asking me to come and pick up my appointment letter and do my documentation immediately as I was one of the few who haven't picked up theirs. Apparently list of those successful came out a while ago and my name was on it.

Lesson learnt: dem plenti...... this is already too long cheesy

Success wishes to the candidates that attended our coaching session in Lagos yesterday.

We have now landed in Abuja and hope to see Abuja guys by 12 and 3 as fixed.

In Port Harcourt tomorrow by God's grace for th PH session.

Oga Jarus, you guys did not try at all. Imagine all I went through to leave the office by 10am, only to get here and it was moved to 2pm, meanwhile I am suppose to be back in the office by 2pm, and the venue is very far from where I am coming from. A simple text message would have saved me a lot of whale.

ignorance everywhere, and when the monkey pox start hitting them hard they will start crying up and down.

Its your ignorance that is alarming. There is currently no vaccine for monkey pox. the closet vaccine was that for small pox which has been discontinued.

Abeg, FG and the military should please tell us where they got their vaccine from, also, I want to see the memo where the funds for this purported vaccination was approved and the manufacturers contracted to produce the vaccine.

The ministry of health is the only parastatal vested with the authority for public vaccination, NGOs have to go through them, they are well versed and are set up to quickly and efficiently distribute vaccine. There is no where in any act, where the army was invested to give public immunization.

Even if it is not the army giving immunization, part of the public immunization charter states that the public should be informed and educated about the need for the vaccine before rolling it out.

Standard Chartered has resumed international spend on their cards!

Although they did not state the rate but they had the lowest rate prior to the suspension of the cards

My dear, be very careful with standard chatered bank card. I paid for my daughter's bilirubin test using this card, the charge at the hospital was $350. When I went to get my zero balance, the finance lady informed me that I had a refund of $138 that was being processed. The rate I was charged when I paid was N275 to $1.

When the refund came, guess how much $138 amounted to............................... N17,321. I have gone to my branch here in PH to inform them that I will be reporting them to CBN.

Their story is that they use the official rate and charge 40% of the transaction as commision. I paid for the test on 28th of May and was refunded on the 20th of June.

If you must use this card, be sure that your transaction goes through the first time or be prepared to lose 40% of the value of your transaction.

Thanks dear. U got the report from ur hospital or port health?

I flew airpeace from PHC enroute to ABV @ 36wks. My fit to fly from my doctor said 33wks. when I went to port health in PH, told the lady I was 33wks, she said airpeace will not allow me fly, told me to get up, looked at my bump and wrote 26wks. Asked for 1500 which I gladly paid.

Trip for ABV was the next day. At Lufthansa, they told me to do a new port health, I refused becos on the document it stated valid for 3days. They called their supervisor and he said it was ok.

PART TWO
A Year after my Prince was born l took in again. And as usual no stress and morning sickness.  I changed hospital to another hospital.
At exactly 6 month in the early hours of the morning my water broke . Gosh l was devastated.  Was rushed to the hospital.  After two days l went into Labour and deliver my baby girl. She struggled for life. Lived for two days and returned to her maker. My world crumbled.  I cried my eyes out. My DH wept like a baby. Its was not easy. I asked a lot of questions but got no answer.  It was not easy but we held unto God's Promises.
After 1 Year took in again and this time the Doc recommended cerclage.  This was done at 13 weeks.  I rested for three days and resumed work. At 16 weeks my membrane ruptured and l had a still birth. At that point l  felt like killing my self. I was just asking God what went wrong. Who did l offend. My Pastors and church members kept praying and assuring me that God has not  forsaking me.
I kept saying l have a son is not that l  have not giving birth before.  Why all this. My friends and colleague where telling me to see  2yrs old son and comfort myself.
In 2014 after a year l took in again. I changed to a different gyne. Cerclage was done again. I took leave of absence without pay to be on bedrest till l give birth. My mum came to help since l was advised not to do anything.  Just lying down.  At 6 month l had serious contraction.  Was rushed to the hospital.  The Doc gave all sort to stop the contraction but for where. I started crying my hubby was confused.  I was like God not again. Hmmmmmm
It was not easy.
My water broke and The stitch was removed .
I went into Labour and deliver my baby girl still birth. At this point l could not take it again.  I lost it  l was just saying rubbish.  The Doc had to sedate me.
Too many questions no answer.
After all the bedrest l still lost the baby. <br>
At this point l told my hubby no more kids. My son is enough for me.
Another Gyne came that day and counselling me telling me l cannot carry another baby again past six months.  That the trauma l went through for my first pregnancy for my son affected my cervix and it can not carry another baby pass 6 months. That l should try options of surrogate mother.
Make una see English oooo. I just tell am thank you. I no wan born again n.a. by force at l had a son.
When l saw my son l broke down again crying my son was just saying mum sorry. No more baby in the tummy.  Mum baby has gone to heaven.  I cried l told him sorry l can't give you younger one
I pray no woman should go through what l went through.  God will not allow us bury our Children
in Jesus Name.  Amen
