oikirodah: Ten key Points From President Tinubu's Speech On Democracy Day(Video)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5Q0jhLHy_0 The annulment of the June 12, 1993, presidential election was the seed that gave birth to the democracy Nigeria currently enjoys.
The opposition to the annulment was a significant struggle akin to the battle against colonial rule.
Democracy should be cherished and protected like a precious jewel.
The experience of dictatorship highlights the stark contrast between the dignity of freedom and the humiliation of tyranny.
Intense electoral contests are positive evidence that democracy is alive in Nigeria.
Democracy allows for the possibility of winners becoming losers and vice versa, ensuring a fair and competitive process.
Those who cannot accept defeat in elections do not deserve the joy of victory.
Disagreements over election outcomes can be resolved through legal means, showcasing the strength of democracy.
Democracy is about the rule of law, a vibrant judiciary, and the protection of institutions.
The aim of democracy should be to achieve social and economic justice, fighting against poverty through well-thought-out policies.
Osigwe Omo-Ikirodah is the Chairman and CEO of Bush Radio Academy. An old who rigged his way to power is talking about democracy, he even increased the retirement age of judges to win their hearts.
BEDC is the biggest fraud that ever happened to Delta state and Mr Sheriff the governor has to replace them or call them to order, especially in Asaba we can't boast of 20hrs of power supply in a full week, some days you don't even see light, like it's so absurd, they only generate the light for the rich and industries and named it 33line were bills a month are from like 75k - 1m.
OyigboUpdate: We all know they are ipob but let us just play along and call them unknown gunmen...

Awgbu town's king and people sold their lands to Fulani herdsmen. So let's not be surprised, this is the work of Fulani herdsmen now trying to pin it on ipob.
I thought Ekweremadu's court trial and sentencing in Uk was televised, a clear conscience fears nothing but Inec and Tinubu are scared. Guilty old corrupt Men.
N3TRAL: Kudos to Seun Kuti for doing the right thing for the first time in a while. I commend him for making his arrest less dramatic regardless of his biological link to a family of elite entertainers.
The order of things is that he who does the crime should do the time in jail.
He must serve as deterrent to those who think that there are no consequences for breaking laws and disobeying constituted authorities.
God1000: Another day in America, sadly so many states in US are not ready to address this problem especially the republican controlled states, president Biden has tried his best, he can't do it alone, he's even opposed by the republicans in the Congress
I don't know why they love guns more than themselves.
Racism and gun violence is the reason I fear USA, though I admire them for being the most powerful and advanced nation on earth.
I will still choose the USA over staying in the north or Benue and even in Nigeria in general. In Nigeria suffering have become normalised.
lhordspy: This is for people who love dragging Nigeria's name down into the mud and painting us bad at every given opportunity.
Just 5 months into 2023. US is with almost over 150 cases of mass shooting already.
US the self-acclaimed world peace-maker, going around different countries causing unnecessary tension, chaos, political upset, turning neighbouring countries against eachother all in the name of seeking world peace; cant even keep its house in order.
What a bulaba !
While in your country terrorism has been ravaging you for more than 10years, with your sisters and mother's been raped like slaves. If Nigeria was close to half of what America has, there won't be a drug baron as a president and a terrorist as his vice. Keep fooling yourselves, a blind Nation castigating a Nation with dust in it's eyes.

ExclusiveBet: Details have emerged regarding the alleged ongoing rift between afrobeats singer, Davido and his friend, Cubana Chiefpriest.
According to blogger, Stella Dimorkorkokus, the duo fell out after Cubana Chiefpriest made a disrespectful statement about Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
It was also gathered that the controversial barman made the statement in the presence of Davido and his wife, Chioma. Stella wrote:
Shedding more light on the situation, Blogger, Gistlovers’ claimed that Cubana Chiefpriest had called Davido to congratulate him on the expected birth of his child with baby mama, Amanda.
While speaking with Davido, Cubana allegedly mentioned that he hopes the baby is a boy so he would replace Chioma’s late son, Ifeanyi.
Reports claim Chioma heard it and burst into bitter tears while feeling pained and Davido in turn blasted Cubana, stating that he suspects he leaked the gist about his expectant baby mama.
Can Ishmael replace Isaac no, never, they could be both male sons but a bastard carries the curse of bastard.
It's too bad that some people are supporting a man that has been stealing from them and has all sorts of crimes to his record. It's too bad, we will never grow as a Nation if we keep going this way.
If you hate who God loves, my friend you are in trouble.
And your God loves a thief, liar, fraudulent man, drug baron, terrorist. Nah your God is not good God. This are the attributes of the devil your God loves. Too bad
madridguy: The most embarrassing among them all is " Thank you daddy, Okay daddy, Amen daddy " with cracking voice like a 8 years old girl own.
Ellu Pee 77
And your candidate that didn't say daddy this or daddy that is troubled because he rigged the election like a kindergarten pupil, now he is playing all sorts of card to paint Obi bad, it's fine, if Obi is bad then Tinubu is the devil. He has nothing to offer rather than to steal to kill and to destroy. That's why it's taken him weeks to answer to the petitions against him. Please who will save Nigeria, how do people campaign for criminal and drug baron as a president, please how, who does that but delusional followers who has been deceived.
The real recession and Inflation is about to come upon this nation, if you think I'm lying wait and see, it's funny how other countries are moving forward and the only forward movement we are making is towards debts. Cost of living is about to skyrocket.
Ezewuzie01: Like a thief in the night, he appeared; moving about in black attire like a bereaved person whose loved one has just answered the heavenly call. Behind his comely exterior is a bigoted soul: A stoker of flame whose aim is setting Nigeria afire on the woof of tribal and religious differences. He would pretend to love Nigeria publicly at interviews, gives false information and statistics; but behind the scenes is a soul who jumped into the fray of the presidential election just to put Nigeria on her knees.
A unifier he should be, who would unite a sundered country across tribes and religions, but Peter Obi turned out to be the behemoth of dicey religious bigotry. He would move from one church to the other, turning pulpits into campaign premises, while telling the Christians to “wake up and take back your country.” Really?
Is the Muslim-Muslim ticket the pretext on which the country would be taken from Christians? Are there not countless numbers of Christian-Christian tickets in the past and currently at state levels? The whole of the Southeast, South-south, and Southwest are currently led by Christians; have the Muslims gathered and cried foul that the Muslims should take back their country? Even in the Muslim-dominated north; are there not Christian governors in Plateau, Benue, and Taraba? Are the Muslims unwise for their tolerance?
As a man thinks in his heart so is he, it's funny how you say things without even knowing how the Muslims operate and then ask your self why they have held Nigeria down in captivity even before your father was born, you then wonder why they have one mind when it comes to politics, it's because even in the mosques they tell them that we are infidels and that they should vote a Muslim, in the case of we Christians we telling the church to vote a Christian and vote Credibility becomes an issue and inciting violence and also campaigning in the church, do not be fooled what a man sows he will reap, you see the way the yorubas and northerners sowed Buhari and reaped recession, insecurity, and aggressive looting, regardless of your tribe for Nigeria, if you sow a sick and over corrupt fellow like Tinubu and his vice, yo what will we reap will be beyond Lawlessness, recession and Terrorism. You know El rufai wants to be the head of NSA, and he will get it, now you should ask yourself why ask for such position if you don't have an intention of using it to wheel power to oppress. Keep fooling yourself time has a way of revealing, you will be disappointed at the things you wrote here tonight.
DOptical: Same Davido who was caught on camera buying votes for his Uncle who got in through over voting?
At least there was no vote buying when Tinubu got in..
The election was credible for me. Not perfect but credible.
I pray that as it was credible for Tinubu so will life be for you, in opportunities are you eligible for a position it will be given to someone that isn't.
flokii: LASG must not take this lightly.. DSS, NPF and Army should start combing Igbo settlements in Lagos to flush out IPOBs. They have sleeper cells in Lagos and are fast spreading to other parts of Yorubaland. Most of these yeybrities and skitmakers are members of the terrorist organization called IPOB.
Like play, these folks are inviting troible into their lives.
If Lagos don tire you, go back to alaigbo to do business and live in peace there.. Nobidy is forcing you to remain in Lagos.
If Yoruba chiefs and royal fathers too decide to give the instruction that no Yoruba son and daughter should patronize Igbo owned businesses and shops again in South West. I hope this nincompoop talking in the video knows it's over for Igbos in Lagos.
thesicilian: They all rigged but the best rigger won. That's why the amateur rigger is in court, not challenging the election results, but the integrity of his opponent.
As a man thinks in his heart so is he, you have spoken to the best of your knowledge as it is to the best of your understanding, all I can say is that you are a fool from your level assimilation you need to pay good attention to things and comprehend them before you rush into commenting.
ozalogbo: I am the first child of my mother, and I have two younger male siblings. I am doing well financially. My wife is the last of four children in her family. My dad died when I was still in the university, and this affected my mum.
However, as she aged, her health waned. She was a retired teacher. My brothers are not in the country. Both of them are in Europe. I wanted to have my mother stay with me in her later years because of her health and loneliness but my wife did not want it.
Whenever she was ill and I brought her home to be with us, my wife was usually hostile, especially if my mum had stayed beyond a week. She did not hid her disapproval, and this caused problems in the marriage. People advised that I should send my mum away and pay someone to live with her and take care of her. They said that marriage was between a man and his wife, not between a man, his wife, and his mother. I did and peace returned. Eventually my mum passed on after a few years.
Along the line, my father in law also died. And down the line, my mother in law's health began to deteriorate. We live in the same town. Among my wife's siblings she is the only one doing quite well. Now there are suggestions that the mother should come and live with us so that my wife can give her proper care. I believe that her living with us and seeing her grandchildren will help her. And indeed i have no problem accepting her, but when i remember the treatment my wife gave to my mum, there is a strong revulsion, in fact, anger in me. I shared with a friend, and he advised i forgive my wife, but the revulsion is so strong that i would feel cheated if i agreed.
What do you guys think. She reminded me then that marriage was between a man and his wife only. Shouldn't this also apply to my wife now?
Bruh don't accept it, it's not revenge it's just the right thing to do. marriage is between husband and wife.
ISLAMISLIGHT: Good, they should continue to kill each other, they have cause too much havoc in our society and have tanish the image of our religon. kudus to Nigeria Army for a job welldone.
Your religion carry fight for head like dread, always at war with someone, or nation or maybe a nation in fighting another or maybe sponsoring a terrorist group. I feel like the afonjas are the only sane Muslims yet they are regarded as a second class Muslim because they don't like violence.
[quote author=adenigga post=122085419]Source: https:///Anambra-People-No-Long-Rent-Houses-To-Us-Fulani-Herdsmen-Laments[/quoit It's so funny how you yorubas forget that the Igbos bring development anywhere they go while the Fulani herdsmen bring choas and man slaughter anywhere they go to, they don't even pay for the lands, they are given for free and they turn back and kill yours sons and rape your daughters. I will never accommodate a Fulani herdsman in my property, it's death on my conscience to that. As for Soludo he can't even give them land he knows that, Anambra no be Imo state.
bakynes: People like Orji Uzo Kalu and Rochas Okorocha are the only Igbo Politicians who truly understand Politics of Nigeria in Igboland. The rest of the Politicians like Obi are very ignorant of the politics in Nigeria.
To win an election you have to build bridges across all the regions especially the North. This is what Yorubas, Edos, ijaw do in Politics but you guys think on your own you can win elections.
To the issue of Lagos, another huge voting block in Lagos is the Hausa- Fulanis but they go along with whichever Candidate the indigenous tribe go with. Most of them even go to the North to elect their leaders. It means they care for their home states and just come to Lagos to make a living but reverse is the case for Igbos they come to Lagos to not only do their business but want to use their voting block to Choose leaders who will have their own interest as against the interest of the indigenous people. They abandon their own states to rot to bad leaders and insecurities.
It's so funny how the only state you are referring to in the West is Lagos, what about the other states that are dirty and and have been sucked dry by the bad leaders you people voted in. An average yoruba person is a tribal bigot and one of the problems we have in Nigeria. Keep fooling yourselves.
Cumtroller: The American government should not meddle in our internal affairs as we do not meddle in her own affairs. Nigeria is a sovereign nation and should be treated as such and accorded due respect. Any candidate who is not satisfied with the outcome of the elections should approach the courts. Simple. Beware of the American government. They are the number one instigator of civil unrest, wars and violent regime change in the world.
War is better than slavery, incase you think 8years of suffering is better than living in shackles of a drug addict.
