^^^^ shea butter is very good for lightening scars i totally agree with you but for me it took about 6 months to see the results I wont recommend a cream to treat your sunburns I have tried equal amounts of palm oil+shea butter+honey and it worked for me. leave it on your face as a mask( if you can leave it overnight the better )otherwise you should use for 30mins twice a day in the area you got sunburnt The results might be slow ddepending on how badly damaged your skin is another is to use olive oil as many times as possible in the area I never tried that one tho another thing you really need to invest in a good sunscreen thats the only way to prevent the sunburns good luck and lets know which worked for you! |
forgot to ask anyone know what I can use on my decollette my breasts have some stretch marks on it(Ive lost a lot of baby weight and stopped breastfeeding) funny its lighter than the rest of my skin anyone with this kind of problem? and solutions to it? will appreciate a bust firming solution too(including exercise links that works if need be) thanks in advance |
sweety run for your dear life I am on a personal campaign against them if you think am joking buy any of their creams and get it lab tested They put steroids in their products at dangerous levels I wont lie I bought the product to treat acne on my face and a dark tummy after pregnancy and it did treat my acne but I was as white as a ghost after a couple of days so I got it tested and the rest is history go to this thread and read a lil more https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-313268.512.html#msg6961516 and here https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-313268.608.html#msg7839237 what annoys me the most is that they advertise that they make natural products from fruits and veggies like pawpaw(papaya),cucumber etc FALSE ADVERTISING! and you and i know that these fruits dont contain steroids they are making highly misleading claims and someone needs to call their arse out even my dermatologist confirmed they have case loads of people that had messed up skin after using them I might consider even contacting NAFDAC on this issue! |
hi ladies been a minute been super super busy anyhow thanks to the person that recommended the bentonite clay damn that stuff sucks your face dry like literally it hurts been working great for my oily zones anyone with super oily face should get it,it works like mad http://www.amazon.com/Aztec-Secret-Indian-Healing-Clay/dp/B0014P8L9W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1299166827&sr=8-1 now I made a review on perfect herbals cream a few pages back as a matter of fact I had to modify my posts cause I dont want any body buying their stuff well ,I take back my review cause I got the cream tested again and it contains dangerous levels of STEROIDS (The first test was to make sure there was no hydroquinone in it) I feel so bad ,cause its like I misled God-knows how many people that read the review as a matter of fact my Dermatologist said I am one of the few lucky ones that didnt get my skin damaged and seems like someone might take the makers to court real soon sad https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-313268.512.html#msg6961516 as of now I am using concoctions made in my kitchen (I cant shout) anyone that wants to try the glycolic peel but is a chicken like me ![]() should mash up some pawpaw and pineapple and use on the face it gets rid of dead cells on your face and rejuvenates it and because its a mild peel you can use it every 2/3 days I alternate that with lemon juice(to maintain my complexion) and tomato juice(makes the skin glow) yes I know they are messy but they work guess nature has all the answers afterall goodluck people, |
Monday, January 10, 2011 Gani's chambers to shut down Jan 15 Tony Amokeodo STRONG indications emerged on Monday that the popular chambers of the late legal luminary, Chief Gani Fawehinmi (SAN), at 35, Adeniran Ajao Road, Anthony Village, Off Ikorodu Road, Lagos, would be wound up on January 15, 2011. [img]http://odili.net/news/source/2011/jan/10/punch/images/pix20081216154048[1].jpg[/img] Chief Gani Fawehinmi http://odili.net/news/source/2011/jan/10/811.html The late legal icon was said to have stated in his Last Testament and Will that the chambers, which had handled many cases for individuals and firms from different walks of life, should be wound up within two years of his death. Our correspondent also gathered that the chambers had written letters to their clients, asking them to collect their case files from the chambers on or before the said January 15. A copy of the letter dated December 17, 2010 was made available to our correspondent in Lagos on Monday. The letter titled, "Re-Winding up of Gani Fawehinmi Chambers," reads in part, "In line with the wishes of our late Head of Chambers, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, SAN, as contained in his Last Testament and Will that the chambers be wound up literarily within two years of his death, the Gani Fawehinmi Chambers will be wound up on January 15, 2011. "Consequently, you are advised to collect your case file from the chambers on or before the said date of January 15, 2011. Fawehinmi was born on April 22, 1938 and died on September 4, 2009 at the age of 71. But the deceased had in last Will dated December 19, 2008 appointed the First Trustees Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of the First Bank of Nigeria Plc, as the executor and trustee of his vast estate. The legal luminary further directed in the Will that all his books and the entire library in the chambers should be taken to the new library and gallery in the Nigeria Law Publication House, CBD, Alausa, Ikeja Lagos. The deceased had in the Will, directed as follows: "I direct my trustee to ensure that all my books and my entire library are taken from my chambers, the Gani Fawehinmi Chambers at 35 Adeniran Ajao Road, Ajao Estate, Anthony Village, Lagos to the new library and gallery in the Nigeria Law Publication House, CBD, Alausa, Ikeja as soon as the building is completed and ready for occupation. "This direction shall be carried out within seven days of my death if the books have not already been transferred in my lifetime. "My chambers, the Gani Fawehinmi Chambers, shall be wound up literally within two years after my death. "I direct my trustee to effect all necessary repairs to my building at Ajao Estate Lagos when it is vacant and after the repairs, the building should be let and the proceeds of the lease should be paid into "Gani Fawehinmi Trust Account. "My trustees, may in their discretion, convert the building into flats if that would make the property more commercially lettable." The late Fawehinmi had in April 1965 established his chambers at 116, Denton Street, Ebute-Metta, Lagos just as he moved the chambers to his house at 28, Sabiu Ajose Crescent, Surulere, Lagos in 1974. He finally moved the chambers in 1978 to its present site at Ajao Estate, Lagos. The chambers are reputed to be the largest law chambers in Nigeria. It has a collection of over 290,000 law and law-related books on various subjects. Between 1965 and 2002, the chambers had handled about 5,700 briefs while Fawehinmi had personally practised law and appeared in courts throughout the length and breath of the country.
That struck me the most hes a really selfless man R.I.P |

hi ladies, I am new on this thread and just want to add that for those that want to dye their hair theres a natural alternative, henna henna by itself might give you an auburn result and if you want jet black hair mix henna and indigo they are both completely natural and makes your hair stronger as opposed to artificial dyes |
