It's called Rapid Intervention Vehicle. And it's not the same as a fire engine. The same function of the rapid intervention vehicle is carried out by a water tanker (also known as water tender) that can be used to fight fire (but is not also the same as a fire engine). Don't teach me something you know nothing about.

Were you hired to analyse or criticise IVM vehicles or something ? What has your submission got to do with the subject matter ? Have you even been privileged to access and closely examine and test any of IVM vehicles to come to these conclusions ? Or you are just assuming and imagining things ?

Constructive criticism, based on my knowledge and experience of firefighting.

If you have been stoned by angry mob because your fire engine broke down on your way to a scene of fire, or your pump stops working all of a sudden during an emergency, then you'd understand why I think IVM attempting to manufacture firetrucks is still a joke.

It takes experience and a lot of feedback to consider the weight, height, tank capacity, cabin crew capacity, number of tires, even chassis...you can't imagine what goes on and the number of tests and visits made to build just one fire engine that will work effectively on a terrain.

Oh well...you seem to know what you're saying...well spoken...can you tell us what kind of pump is installed in the vehicle and it's capacity? How many inlets and outlets it has? The tank capacity? Other equipment in the fire engine?

I should know better. This is my specialty. You can't just create a lookalike vehicle and name it. That's not how this thing works. This truck looks like a joke. If I say more, you'd think I'm only trying to rubbish IVM but that's not the case here. For example, you cannot compare the Hilux with an IVM truck...one is more durable. Don't get sentimental

This is a fire engine as long as firefighting is concerned, and I can bet you that these vehicles are not heavy-duty trucks specially designed to handle large fires or even pump water for longer periods without damaging the pump casing.

Don't mean to rubbish the fire engines IVM manufactures, but we're talking about rating and specifications, the kind of advanced technology that IVM does not have for firefighting trucks. This is not about purchasing trucks that won't give you maximum performance. The size of the trucks are even ridiculous

9. The Asun seller is cursing Buhari, the hair stylist is insisting Buhari is too old to rule. This is the story of our nation where corruption fuels the "economy". Those who are not engaging in it are benefiting from it.
10. This tread is not about Buhari's achievement or failure, but rather about the "multiplier" effect of corruption and how we have built a system largely driven by corruption. It's about policy implication (good or bad). It's about the choices we have made.
Finally, the young man had to withdraw his kids from what he called expensive primary school his kids attend. He added:"what are they teaching them there sef " Obasanjo didn't go to a private school. I just laughed .
