Yulk! A new language - Yoruba pidgin English! You can see for yourself how confused you are? I know from onset that you "gat" nothing meaningful to say. Look from outside and laugh at yourself. |

erico2k2: all that craaap you wrote there is what my few lines meant, ordinarily, you wont speak Pidgin amongst yourselves it would be Igbo, but in the presence of strangers you would speak the bit you know.I graduated from ESUT in Enugu state and served @ 9th mil Ngwo thats 6 years + I lived among the igbos. thier pidgin is by force like who MOPOL point gun face. If I ask you teh meaning of Golden sand do you have any clew or waht we cal benjim these r food we ate as students, we used these to scope the igbos arround us then. Who cares about your rubbish and ESUT nonsense? Anambra has minimal pidgin English, unless you are a Hausa or Yoruba (with visible tribal marks), the first language you will receive anywhere in Anambra is Igbo. This does not mean they are not fluent in pidgin English. All other nonsense you wrote is empty rants from someone writing with he has no clue. |

erico2k2: Guy relax, U did not understand that pidgin simple, let me break it down. Speaking pidgin like who mopol stand for E front simply means Forcefully speaking pidgin English, ie its not part of them, they are speaking it just cos they thought you are from the endz where it is spoken fluently, so they want to identify but still its rubish. This what speaking pidgin in front of MOPOL(mobile Police) means.Simple. I understand your concept but you failed it woefully! This shows you know nothing about Anambra state. Anambra people are by far the most traveled in Nigeria. This means that those people you see speaking pidgin English in Lagos and other places are the same people speaking Igbo at Onitsha. In a nutshell, Anambra people can speak broken well. Most traders that come from middle belt and Niger Delta communicate in pidgin English with them. But, generally, we don't like pidgin English. Isn't this clear enough? |

Pidgin English is minimal. Don't understand your rant here. |

PS, I schooled in ESUTH so Actually, what you wrote does not make sense. Igbo is the main language, they only speak pidgin English to Abokis and perceived not Igbos. Trying to think the fact that the op must be a typical Hausa "intellectual" gives me goose pimples. A typical saying of cold sweat.
First of all, I must thank Goodluck Jonathan for putting a spirited effort that ensures they are educated. These efforts were very visible in his administration when he built numerous schools for them which could've at least reduced pathetic level of their ignorance. Isn't it a pity that this young man doesn't even understand who were the casualties of January, 1966 coup. The issue here is not even his ignorance on the subject but his mentality that turned his blindfolded eyes to the eyes with microscopic glasses.
Whoever will like to argue with this bloke should first of all take a look at the names he listed as the victims of the coup. :d ... And yet he wants to engage those with slight knowledge of the history.
Honestly, this is one of the most stupid "rebuttals" I've ever read on the internet. |

SirToby: Good afternoon friends. Please i need to know the authenticity of wealthfield multipurpose coorperative. They promised to give us grants for business two months after collecting the form but they later requested for 2,500 Naira for training fee which was not stated before. We paid the money but they have not gotten back to us as regards the grant. They called us last month to pick up our certificates but they were not really specific as regards the grants. I'm concerned because my Dad registered as a Manager and they were told to pay 50,000Naira but they later start demanding for other payments that wasn't stated initially. I'm thinking of advising my Dad to pull out, please i need your advise. Is Wealthfield a scam ? Please how authentic is this? |

Politics › Re: Anioma State And South East Zone by BrownRoofRep: 1:34am On Jul 14, 2018 |
pazienza: The Anioma people are peaceful, hardworking and accommodating. Besides Delta State, Anioma people can also be found in Igbanke, Ogan, Iru, Owa Nikeke, Ekpon and Abudu areas of Edo State, Onitsha, Obosi, Ogidi, Ozubulu and Orifite areas of Anambra State, Oguta area of Imo State and Ndoni area of Rivers State. The Anioma people are educated, industrious, innovative and exposed. The rich diverse and unique cultural heritage of the Anioma people distinguished them from other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria.
The second question: Are Anioma people Igbos? There have been several debates about the true origin of the Anioma people and the language they speak. There is a strong belief that the Anioma people are Igbos and that they speak Igbo language. To keep the record straight, the Anioma people are not Igbos and they do not speak Igbo language. The Anioma people speak, "Enuani, Ika and Ukwuani languages".
We are proud of our identity; our identity is our pride, strength and unifying factor. Our Anioma attire (Akwa Anioma) is recognized anywhere in the world. There may be similarities in some Anioma and Igbo names: such as Chukwuma, Chukwuka, Chukwudi, Ngozi, Udoka, among other names that have the same spellings, pronunciations and meanings like that of the Igbos but, the fact remains that we are not Igbos. We may also have some similarities in language that does not make us Igbo people. The Aniocha and Oshimili though are closer to the Anambra people cannot be referred to as Igbo people. The same could be said of Owa people in Ika North East Local Government whose ancestral home is believed to be Nri, in Anambra State. The Ndokwa and Ukwuani areas are a mix of different peoples, some with a strong claim to Benin ancestry while others claim to different origin. The Abohs and some clans in the region claimed to have left Benin in the 16th century or earlier in the same wave of migration that established most of the Igbo speaking towns West of the Niger and even Onitcha in the East. Some sections of the Abohs believed that they are direct descendants of people from Benin while others look across the Niger into the Igbo hinterland as their origin, yet some even look far up the Niger, Igala as their ancestral home. Ogidi has nothing to do with Anioma. It's only yesterday I saw that nonsense here. For your information, I am from Ogidi and can tell you that none of us is aware of this claim which I find disrespectful. Oraifite has absolutely nothing to do with Anioma, Ozubulu - yes, Oraifite - hell no! Only a tiny quarter in one clan of Obosi has connection with Anioma, they are even a later arrival that were added to Obosi. Obosi is proudly Idemili. Seriously, I find this very insulting. What is wrong with those Igbo deniers? Are they claiming my hometown too? Tifiakwa! |
