He didn't win it sha, he was nominated, alongside Wendy and Ruth.

Ruth won best supporting actress.

This year, Wendy must win Outstanding lead actress. Ben will also be nominated for Best supporting actor and Ozark is the 2nd favourite to win Outstanding Drama series. Not forgetting to mention that Marty and Ruth will still get nominated. They will be swimming in Emmy nominations by the end of this month when the nominations are out.

And some people are yarning dust about Ozark? Something is definitely wrong with them grin grin
Jason also produced the Outsider this year. That series would also make some nominations

With the increasing waves of cyber security attacks all over the world , it seems like cyberspace is no longer safe. I've been wondering how dangerous cyber security jobs could get , can you get into trouble for doing your job ?.
just recently I discovered that a cyber security researcher was arrested for creating a free tool which some hackers used to steal passwords and personal information of bank customers.
How dangerous do you think this field can get ?
Ethical Hacking and penetration testing... Watch the movie "Mr Robot" . Trust me you will learn alot. There's no career without professional hazards.

When we finish making it, I will host it online, then when it reaches a lot of people companies will start posting adverts on the site, and they will pay before posting the adverts, how do u think that Markzukarburg gets money, and my dad has made a website where companies post adverts and he makes money from it.
Will you host it with your machine? Or you know of any free hosting services?

The man he's always citing is Mr Robot which is actually an imaginary person. I advise no one to read the diary as the author has PTSD, Multiple personality disorder and chronic schizophrenia. Martin's reliability has been compromised

If you are certain you like drama, be patient bro. I almost bashed the show here on NL. It really picked up steam in season 2

Finally seen the last Episode... Hopefully a second season comes Swiftly... So Mr. Wiflord went from being dead, to being on another train... As soon as I saw the girl I knew right away she was Melanieʼs daughter, and it is quite obvious that there is no Wiflord on the other train.. Her Daughter is probably playing the same game that Melanie was playing, using Wolford to control the train... In any case, I am looking Foreward to seeing how it all unfolds...

Can't say I feel sorry for LJ, although I am surprised that up till now one has raped her undecided

Overall great Season, other than the Instantaneous travel between 1000 Cars, the Series is very good...

Ozark is really nice if your into TVs with great conversations. But if you are after action... You had better quit. Much of the drama in the show begins at season 2

I've read the novel, and I've to admit the film is a radical deviation from the source material, it paralleled the novel up to apoint, and then diverged by creating it's own narrative halfway. For instance, the train didn't derail at all in the novel, in fact, the train survived well into the future and was active when the snows started to melt...

However, from what I read online, the show is loosely based on the novel (just like the film), and predates the film by eight years. My summation is that since it's specified to us that the show's timeline is a prequel to the film's, then there's a high probability that the show and the film are from the same universe, and as a result, the show's plot line will eventually overlap the film's.... but I could be wrong as the show might yet do it's own thing.

I'll watch the show tho. My curiosity is piqued.
This is what we have been trying to explain to you. The show is a deviation from the movie. Are you saying in 8 years all the characters in the show will die and be replaced by the ones in the movie

In the show there's no more tail, there's no more first class. There's even a second train.
TV/Movies / Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Brukx(m): 12:28pm On Jul 14, 2020
Vexatious:

Due to the fact that the show's timeline predates the movie's, a nuanced shift in the narrative perspective is obvious (different characters and whatnot), but their respective premises are the same. The train is the common denominator of both timelines.

It doesn't end well.
It's not just the Timeline. Not one character from the movie was on the show except Wilford of cause.

It's a different story entirely except for the premise as you say
TV/Movies / Re: What Series Are You Watching Now? Part 2 by Brukx(m): 2:30am On Jul 14, 2020
Vexatious:

If you've watched the film, you'd realize that watching the TV show is a pointless endeavour, an exercise in futility. Unless the storyline deviates from the movie (highly doubtful), the train (and everyone in it) is doomed.
The storylines are different

I love your picks.

Though the idea of adding movies that were cancelled is quite off.

My picks will be

10. Peaky blinders
9. Motherfort Salem( even if it just started I love the concept)
8. Vikings (ragnar was a vibe)
7. Midnight Texas
6. Grand hotel
5. God father of halem
4. GOT( wasn't really happy with the end though)
3. Pennyworth
2. Strike back
1. The 100 (I love the twist in season 7)

I'm glad The 100 and God Father of Harlem made your list. Those series are underrated
