To be carnal is to depend on ur natural senses in order to carry out a task, while to be spiritually sound and alert is to totally depend on the leading and dictates of the Holy spirit in order to carry out a task. That is what qualifies u to be called a child of God. John 1:12,13. So while trying to discuss or argue the things of God, doing it from the human angle and knowledge alone is a waste of time.
