At a point this guy's popularity was being compared to that of Jesus Christ. However, while nothing lasts forever, Jesus remains thesame yesterday, today and forever. There's none like Him.

David was more of a king than a prophet. There are like two main prophets in his time. Samuel who's the main prophet at that time anointed David as king over Israel. Prophet Nathan was sent by Yahweh God a couple of times to David.


In the history of Israel, go and check it anywhere, David was a king. Samuel and Nathan were the prophet of his reign.

This might sound funny but there's this acquaintance of mine , my coursemate who also became my roommate , she's a lady like me very slim and tall , she has a bad habit of farting loudly literally every 5 minutes , she acts like it's a normal thing , everybody farts but hers is chronic , walking ,sleeping , peeing , eating even when I was eating one time

So what does it mean ?
The word "dead" is used twice in the sentence.

The first one refers to those who are alive but dead (spiritually). These people do not know about God or believe in God.

The second one refers to someone who is dead (physically and spiritually). That is someone who died without knowing God.

The man Jesus was talking to has already found Jesus. So he is not dead (spiritually), that is why Jesus was setting his priorities straight. Saying he should leave the dead (spiritually dead) to bury their dead (spiritually and physically dead).
