There is tension in Enugu State following report of a blast within Enugu, the State capital.

DAILY POST learnt that the explosion occurred Monday night at the New Artisan Market, Enugu.

The development has created tension in the State, though police say there is no cause for alarm.

Confirming the incident, the Enugu State Police command through its spokesman, SP Ebere Amaraizu said the police “have commenced full scale investigations.”

He said in a statement that “an explosion occurred at the scrap site of the former New Artisan Market Enugu on 11/9/17 at about 8pm.

“The cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained and no life was lost.

“However, the incident caused minor destruction in a nearby food shop, including two vehicles parked near the said shop.

“The state command has advised good people of the state, particularly residents of the axis not to entertain fear or panic but to go about their normal lawful business as all hands are on deck by the command, working in partnership with relevant sister security agencies and relevant stakeholders for a safe and secured Enugu state and its environs.

“Meanwhile, personnel of the Explosive Ordinance Department of the state command were on hand to further render the scrap site and its environs safe and secured.”

God of War
Alot of Nairalanders are going to come at me for this, but that doesn't mean i shouldn't speak my mind. At some point - possibly at E3, as Sony seem to be bringing Kratos back again - they might as well just call it "God of War: Square, Square, Triangle" instead of God of War 3 and be done with, as the winning formula from the first game has barely been improved upon since. After playing the game and its sequels and comparing it to all other games, I can safely say that this game has the most over bloodline fan base for such a bad game. I can tell you this about the campaign, I never died, and people whine about Halo games being easy, the puzzle part is mind numbingly easy, and I never could like Kratos, He is the biggest Asshole I have ever seen, watch the game and you'll see there is a reason why I feel sorry for Zeus and the Gods. Unlike most Video game characters which are noble, Kratos is the poorest excuse for a good character and constantly reminds me of Hoped from Final Fantasy 13.

Shut up!

these games you mentioned are not really story inclined, like Cao said, in my own personal opinion God of War is a childish game and that's why I didn't put it in the list. I should add uncharted but...... .......

GOD OF WAR should be numero uno on your list.

Are you kidding me?
You're not a gamer at all...

This one is looking for activist, can't he lead the way? You guys voted this administration so deal with whatever they throw at your faces. RIP to the dead though.

Still crazy why we haven't heard what happened with the pilot to that jet, he should tell us what exactly he was doing when he pressed those buttons.

For a bombardier to fire at target, there have to be series of instant approvals. Two or more superior officers must concur before he engages and then fires.
What the bombardier sees on screen is exactly what his superior commanders see remotely on a wider screen.
So you see, the bombardier didn't just press some buttons, he took orders.

Thank you.

Nigerians should leave Americans alone to govern themselves the way they like. You'll leave your country in tatters and go and be blowing grammar in another man's country. Is it not because they took good care of their own that you found it desirable to go and live in?

I have tried so hard to convince myself that maybe it's just my environment, maybe there are faithful married men in other parts of the country. 95 % of married Nigerian men cheat on their wives atleast once, while from the 5%, 3% have not cheated because the opportunity has not presented itself yet, and only 2% are actually faithful to their wives. I often hear statements like "men are naturally polygamous", a nairalander once said "if you can't bear your husband cheating on you, then don't get married", but I ask myself just how much do you have to bear?, a distant relative lost her life because her husband infected her with hiv, she knew he was philandering, but what could she do?,now both her and her husband are dead, it's been years, sometimes I see the kids and i just feel awful, if a man cheats, women have always have that big heart to forgive and move on,but when a man gives his wife disease, it means that man not only lacks self control but is STUPID as well

Command the virus to die. It will obey you. They have ears. Even the phone or pc you reading this from has ears.

Just command!

You all needed to see the way they were driving on PH roads yesterday.

I didn't even know it was a convention.

I thought there were test running F1 race in 9ja.

I stood at Spar and couldn't cross over to the other side of the road for almost 20min.

I am talking of convoys on ultrahigh speed.

Roads were blocked for them to fly.
