They could have used an excavator, dig,dig it deep 2 feet behind her and at her front or better let's say 5feet and bring out both her and anything obstructing her naw that way, they can work out possible way to save her.

I think with you way she was stuck beneath the rubles and her legs were in a kneeling position, they tried and It was impossible to free her and even if they amputated her legs there was a 100% chance that she wouldn't make it... I felt so sad for her

I sometimes wish I could unsee/unknow Omayra’s story.

On the other hand, I feel that it deserves to be known and spoken about, so that these kind of tragedies do not repeat in the future.

So that she does not simply vanish into nothingness.

After Omayra’s tragic death, just as the death of thousands of people of Armero, many questions arose. If the residents were warned and evacuated on time, so many people could have been saved. Secondly, the rescue workers did not have many of the basic tools they needed to rescue Omayra and other survivors.

Some people heard Omayra’s story before, as well as others read about her for the first time. I wanted to help make a tribute on her bravery and good spirit. The woman name should-be recognized for what she had been, a brave little fighter.

As end was coming close, Omayra started hallucinating. She spoke of being late for school and mentioned a math exam.

Her face become swollen, her eyes reddened and her hands become white.

She died on November 16th either from gangrene or hypothermia.

Cameras recorded her message to her mother, who was out of town when this happened:

Mom, if you are listening, and I guess you are, pray for me to be able to walk and that these people help me. Mommy, I love you and Dad and my brother. Goodbye, Mom.

This lasted for three days. No attempts of rescuing her worked. As the last attempt they considered forcefully pulling her out. However, they discovered that Omayra’s legs were bent as if she was kneeling, and that if they did this, the legs would get severed.

Doctors who were present discussed this option, but decided that she would not survive this maneuver, because they did not have surgical equipment to save her from the effects of amputation.

They concluded that it would be more humane to let her die.

As her ordeal went on, Omayra became scared. Her spirits went down and she cried and prayed.

Rescue workers tried different ways of freeing her, but nothing worked. When they tried pulling her out, they realized that it was impossible to do so without breaking her legs in the process. Also, each time they tried pulling her, the level of water rose around her.

When mudslides destroyed Omayra’s house, her dad and aunt died, and she became trapped under concrete and debris, and could not free herself.

Omayra managed to get her hand out of the ruins, so the rescue workers discovered her. During the course of that first day, they managed to clear the debris and wood that surrounded her, but realized that her legs were trapped in such a way that it was impossible to get her out.

At this time, she was still positive. She talked to reporters and rescue workers, sang, and asked for sweets and soda.

Omayra was a 13-year-old Colombian girl, who lived with her mom, dad, brother and aunt in a town called Armero, located below the Nevado del Ruiz volcano.

On November 13, 1985, the volcano erupted, and created huge mud/landslides that completely buried the town. Out of 31,000 people who lived in the area, about 22,000 died.

Many years ago I saw a photo that horrified me. For a moment I thought that it was a scene from a horror movie, but the truth was worse than any horror I could ever imagine.

It was a photo of a healthy young girl dying, in front of cameras, surrounded by people, trying to rescue her. Years passed, but I could never forget this girl or her story. Her name was Omayra Sánchez.

The story I am about to share is deeply disturbing. The photos are graphic and devastating. so please be aware of this if you decide to proceed.

Before reading this, just know that the truth hurts! So if you find yourself yelling at your phone at any point reading this, it’s just a side effect you’re experiencing. Okay?

Ugly truth = UT

UT10. Whether you like it or not, You will be judged based on your appearance. So please appear nice for UT10’s sake.

UT11. Who said it’s failure then success?? It’s failure then failure then failure cause even your success is a failure to someone.

UT12. No matter how soft and comfortable your bed is there’s only one place you’ll ever be able to Rest In Peace. Your Grave!

This was on the news a few days ago. The incident took place in Thailand.


A female Chinese national went around spitting in public areas including public transport. Many people were alarmed at her lack of personal hygiene and possible spread of covid-19 virus. The Thai police came forward to nab her and she attempted to spit on them. One of them covered her mouth and grabbed her by the back. They tested her for covid-19 and thankfully, the outcome returned negative.

Spitting in public is incredibly rude AND disgusting!

Two weeks ago, a 19-year-old British woman accused 12 Israeli boys of gang raping her in Cyprus.


Her story: She consented to sex with one of the boys and the other 11 jumped on her and gang raped her.

And three of the boys had DNA evidence suggesting a sexual encounter. The woman had bruises on her thighs as well.

She lied.

She changed her story more than once, was confronted with evidence that at least one of the men had 100% definitely not been there at the time of the incident.

And she confessed to lying, but claimed that she made the rape accusation up because the men she consensually had sex with filmed the whole encounter.

The woman changed her story AGAIN, saying she had sex with the three boys, but refused to let a fourth join in. Angry and humiliated, she went to her friends who told her to report them.

No evidence has risen to confirm her second or third story.

They were boys.

All of them were aged 15–18. Depending on which ones she had sex with, she could’ve been a statutory rapist.

Seven of them were in jail for about a week, only five were released immediately. Despite being kept anonymous, one of the boys even reports:

“I am walking in the street and people are calling me a rapist.”

And this was in Israel, after returning home.

But others were just happy to be out:

‘I feel great. The truth came out and I am happy,’

Thankfully, the woman is reportedly going to prison for a year, and is probably going to be facing a multi-million dollar fine.

What concerns me is EVERYONE who acted like they knew all the facts before the full story leaked.

Many women’s organizations in Israel made opinion pieces about “toxic masculinity” in Israeli men before the allegation was revealed to be false.

Several of them condemned the boys and sent support to the British woman.

It’s insane.

It’s insane how much coverage this got before a verdict was declared.

And how quickly people were jumping to conclusions, and writing opinion pieces. Even if it turned out that the woman was innocent and the boys were guilty, this shouldn’t have been made public for the sake of both parties’ privacy and sanity.

These boys will forever be traumatized by this. But because of the media coverage they’ll be traumatized by the stigma for the rest of their lives.

That’s scary.

Pure racism

One day in 1988, poor old Clarence was just enjoying his daily routine, when he was taken in by the police as a rape suspect.

A hospitalized woman claimed she had been brutally raped, by a black man.

More than a day after the assault, while in the hospital, the woman identified Clarence as her attacker, saying his face came to her in a dream.

Clarence Moses-EL was convicted in 1988 and sentenced to 48 years in prison for raping and assaulting a woman when she returned home from a night of drinking, despite NO FURTHER EVIDENCE other than her bruises and her dream.

Clarence had long claimed he was innocent.

But his efforts to appeal his conviction were unsuccessful, in part because Denver police threw away DNA evidence from the scene, according to reports.

Luckily, in December 2013, while serving his 48-year prison sentence, Clarence received a letter from another man, L.C Jackson.

In the letter Jackson said he couldn't believe Clarence had been accused of raping the same woman Jackson “ had sex” with the very same night.

'I really don't know what to say to you, but let's start by bringing what was done in the dark into the light,' Jackson wrote, according to court documents. 'I have a lot on my heart.'

This confession letter led to a court hearing in July, where Jackson testified that he lost his temper during sex with the woman and hit her in the face. He admitted to it all. Although it wasn't necessarily a rape.

Clarence had already spent 28 years of his 48-year sentence in prison.

Imagine that…

An innocent man…

28 years he'll never get back…
