This is testimony and hope! For everyone who trusts God for a spouse, child(ren), ...whatever, don't give up hope. Please. Congrats Madam Nee Salako. |
This is 2017. This is not FP worthy. We are presenting ourselves as a laughing stock to the world. The headline suggested that we are going to be graced by globally competitive innovations/designs like the INnoson's IVM, Dangote/Sino Trucks, The made in Nigeria Naval war ships, the Z600, etc. However, what we have here are: 1. A child's play 2. A smuggler's dangerously redesigned car to carry excess load 3. A revamped VW Beetle 4. Repeat No 1. |
OduduwaYoruba:Be careful. The internet is not as anonymous. That said. You need to know Saraki to know that these allegations by Sahara Reporters do not look impossible. You also need someone like Saraki in your camp when you want to deal with Northern politicians and their born-to-rule mentality. But anyone doing business with Saraki should please go read the terms and conditions again. |
GLOBALINF:Yes nah. The devil hates competition. Make dem no go steal hell comot for hin hand. |

True, every people get the leaders they deserve. Danjuma Goje's utterances are an affront to the good people of Lagos state and a deliberate provocation of their House of Assembly. Alh Goje was Minister of State for Power and Steel under Obasanjo, what did he achieve? He is probably bitter because he felt Mr Fashola took his job. As Governor of Gombe state for 8 years, (2003-2011), how did he reposition his state in Nigeria? What did he do differently that advanced the course of his people and humanity at large? The questions are in torrents... And then, one is forced to wonder at the age and intellectual competence of Nigerians, as represented on here at Nairaland. Some commentators are very bitter and would topple the apple-cart because they want a lose-lose situation. Like most of the 'intellectual' riffraffs here, Goje left the substance for the shadows. He attacked the personality of Fashola and refused to address the issue for which he and his infamous colleagues were called out for. Like we say in the hood, 'Nobody holy pass' but I have a parting shot: Who would you rather prefer as your leader, Fashola or Goje? |
PureMe01:Copy and paste yours sir. |
One thing is sure: This does not represent the true position of ordinary Kwarans. |
We pray they spring the magic wand quick enough to save the brand, repay due obligations and stay afloat and make profit. |
It's either the police didn't have sufficient handcuffs or deliberately left some uncuffed. This may be seen as a deliberate attempt to encourage them to try and escape, so they can be shot dead. 'Just thinking' |
jboy73:I shall stoop no further to your experienced idiocy level. |
jboy73:Who is this first vomit of a leprous gnome? Did you attend a fish school? The capacity of your understanding betrays the genuineness of the funds that paid your tuition Arrgh! I asked an innocent question and expect someone who truly knows to respond, or at least, move on. You were not under any compulsion to respond to my post. Not everyone is full of bile and guile. My question was genuine. See how you scratch your ulcerous scrotums with blades and nails to say he is not doing anything illegal. Who suggested that to you? Was that from my question too? If you walk a little down your street, turn left, turn right, take some more walk, you will see a n@ked transformer. Hug it. |
God bless Edo people. Imagine being just a 'suspect' in Ikorodu. |
What does E-money do for a living? Please inform me. |
It is a 2000 Infiniti G20 (Nissan Primera, if you like). The gear does not pick once I engage the gear in D after a long cold-time, eg, first drive in the morning. It usually takes between 1 to 2 minutes before it responds. But once the car picks, it works fine for the rest of the time, except when it is packed again for long. I am trying to troubleshoot. Any help please. |
Ok, so where is the TV again? |

Etisalat came into a seemingly saturated Nigerian telecommunications market and against all odds, made an impressive mark. She was first on many innovations and perfections. She became the village belle and enjoyed simple goodwill from across various social strata. She was impressive while the party lasted! The company came in with her 0809ja and rushed Nigerians with all manners of awoof on the network. She made it look like other networks were too stiff-necked and unreasonable. But then, there is a huge chasm between social responsibility, charity and recklessness. The freebies were unending, so much so one began to wonder if she was powered by simple dust. At a time, subscribers got paid for receiving calls on their Etisalat lines! I am not an expert on these things, but even the blind should smell rain. The banks are in business to make money. Need I say more, Nigerian banks (or aptly, banks in Nigeria) are better managed than their telecommunications counterparts. An hypothesis most of us may challenge, but not many of us want our businesses to look like them |
ExInferis:Come, Uncle Loudmouth ex NEPA staff, someone gave clear instances of his wrong treatment by your former colleagues and the system you helped destroy, the least you can do is to shut your demented cavity and pretend you didn't see his issues than attack his persona. As against him, you did not provide any fact to counter his position. You neither provided any leeway nor succor but came to war against the vociferations of a cheated man with stones and cudgels like a war roach that you tag yourself. Please tell, was his comment too complex for your brain the size of a fly, or just humour me and agree you were just being plain ill-mannered? Of course, your comment truly betrays who the Neanderthal is. I am done glorifying you with my time. |
laudate:Mail NERC. You will be amazed. |

First. Heritage Bank is an LTD. not PLC. So it is their cup of tea. Secondly, Spring Bank was bought by BankPHB under the leadership of Francis Atuche, who chose not to submerge it into the PHB brand but rather run it as some sort of inline independent business. Sadly, both BankPHB and Spring Bank didn't survived the Sanusi tsunami. With AMCON takeover, the bank was rebranded as Enterprise Bank and was run by that government institution. Societe Generale Bank LTD, a bank generally believed to be owned by the Sarakis and has been run aground by the Saraki led management. The bank was clogged in debts and litigations and not many people thought much of or knew anymore. So Saraki became Senate President and Societe Generale got it's lincence back and rebranded as Heritage Bank LTD and enters the scene with the purchase of Enterprise Bank from AMCON under very funny arrangements. Adverts are done for a reason. I have nothing against Heritage Bank advertising and staying afloat. However, this should be considered as a wake up call to its handlers that much is left to be desired as goodwill is not their strength at the moment.. They must remember that their early life matters and must be conservatively guarded as ought. |

And when they bring their grossly inflated bills for electricity they barely supplied, they still have the temerity to cut off power supply to your residence, despite the fact that they have given you more darkness than light.
From 18,000 naira monthly bill in January, they suddenly inflicted a 35,000 monthly bill on us in May. Meanwhile, we did not buy any new electronic gadget since beginning of this year, our consumption pattern has not changed, and power supply was worse in May. May God punish EKEDC every single day of this year!
