Travel / Re: Uk Deports 61 Nigerians by btyfulmnd(m): 12:19pm On Jul 22, 2011 |
UK used to be a liberal place for most Nigerians coming to Europe, because they dont lay emphasis on documents unlike Germany that is known as a police country; but is like what used to be practised in Germany is now happening in UK. Honestly, it is heartbreaking but i think the bad economy is the major reason behind this and this trend is becoming the norm of the day in UK. |
Business / Re: Nigeria’ll Overtake US If It Has 24 Hours Electricity, Security by btyfulmnd(m): 1:18pm On Jul 18, 2011 |
It will be a step in the right direction but to say we will overtake US, that is a far cry becos for the whole body to function it needs the head and other parts. So electricity cannot make our Niger a world economy even if it is free for 24 hrs. |
Politics / Re: It's Official! Jonathan Admits He Has No Plans For Nigeria by btyfulmnd(m): 1:00pm On Jul 18, 2011 |
OKURINMETA: Talking from a leadership point of view from Africa leaders, when things are itemized the leaders tend to focus solely on the so called agenda forgetting other parts of government therefore, giving room for loopholes where either funds are syphoned or round pegs would be placed in square holes. A good leader should be able to have a firm grip on every aspect of government and in as much as he would have some sectors where much emphasis is needed, it is better if he doesn't start setting agenda or else he is setting a trap for his opposition. |
Politics / Re: It's Official! Jonathan Admits He Has No Plans For Nigeria by btyfulmnd(m): 12:35pm On Jul 18, 2011 |
what sense does it make to outline a seven or nine point agenda and at the end of the tenure not even one is achieved. Good governance encompasses all and when elaborated, it is more demanding and it allows him to have his eyes on all than focusing only on some sectors. |
Family / Re: by btyfulmnd(m): 4:04pm On Jul 12, 2011 |
ronkebp: It seems as if you buy the idea of married women cheating; i do´not support married men who cheat on their wives but dont you think that a woman who is involved in outside runs just to get back to her husband is totally missing it. For the Bible says " a wise woman builds her home but a foolish one destroys it. |
Family / Re: by btyfulmnd(m): 3:52pm On Jul 12, 2011 |
ronkebp:In as much as we believe in the phrase " what goes around comes around" i tend to disagree with you that whoever bleeps(using ur word) on somebodies wife, his own will be bleeped upon. The culture will have in Nigeria puts so much pressure on the female gender that once she is married she finds it difficult to look out,and if by chance she decides to indulge in extramarital affairs,it is doomed as a tabboo and an insult to her entire family while on the other side(men) it is seen as a man's right. |
Politics / Re: Atiku Blasts Aganga, Hails Okonjo-iweala by btyfulmnd(m): 10:13am On Jul 08, 2011 |
when an issue that affects each and everyone of us is raised, we tend to deviate and start lavishing unnecessary praises to the individual and the region he/she is from. Nigeria would have been a better place if TRIBALISM is not the order of the day in every sector of Nigeria's economy.Be it Ngozi,Atiku or Aganga who ever tends to profer a solution to our present predicament,it should be viewed with patriotism and the spirit of ONE NIGER. |
Jokes Etc / Re: Abuja Wives Rejoice Over 10pm Curfew; Send A Thank-you Gift-hamper To The Person by btyfulmnd(m): 9:42am On Jul 08, 2011 |
There are areas in Abuja that curfews would not and never be obeyed;for instance most satellite towns and i think the pronouncement is mostly concerned with joints in Abuja central. House wives shouldn't start rejoicing because an addicted fellow would always look for alternatives. |

Politics / E-registration In Lagos by btyfulmnd(m): 2:33pm On Jun 28, 2011 |
The electronic registration of persons living in Lagos by Gov fashola tends to put smile on the faces of some Nigerians but i ask will it mean good or another way of syphoning money from poor tax payers. |
Politics / Buhari Opts Out Of Council Of State's Meeting by btyfulmnd(m): 2:19pm On Jun 28, 2011 |
The presidential flagbearer of CPC said he is opting out of the Council of state's meeting until the hearing of the party's petition against PDP is finalised. His statement calls to question his patriotism to his "Beloved Country", this also shows that he is a soar loser and he is not interested in the wellbeing of Nigeria rather for his own selfish interest. You have filed your petition, i don't think there is anything wrong in attending the meeting and contributing while the court performs its functions. Moreover, he is still being paid as a one time Head of state; i thought he was a patriot but this recent attitude of his beats me. |

Pesoranlly i would say no but it depends on individuals and the extent of closeness before breakup. There is a saying in Hausa that " medicine is made out of old honey" |

Romance / Re: Blood Oath by btyfulmnd(m): 7:54pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
In as much as i still have respect for her and what we shared, i dont love her anymore and i am not married. It might sound easy to say when one does not understand but whenever i tell her that i have moved on, she tends to bring back old memories and it's not funny. |
Romance / Re: Blood Oath by btyfulmnd(m): 7:40pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
Wislet: Honestly Wislet i understand your stand on this and what i meant by avoiding her is, she has just gotten out of a relationship with so much disappointment and now that she was able to locate me, she is bent on having me back. Well to give you a summary,we broke up about four yrs ago and it was when she was in the States while i was back home, she just felt she needed to carry on after i was denied a visa to the states. we had no issues and i also moved on. I decided of late to get into facebook and behold she was there asking all our classmates of my whereabout, they told her i was in Germany i had no idea that she was still looking for me becós i had moved on with my life. i had to deactivate my account with facebook because of her but the blood oath is aactuallymy worry. |
Romance / Re: Blood Oath by btyfulmnd(m): 7:30pm On Jun 27, 2011 |

Celebrities / Re: Miss Taraba , Sylvia Nduka Is The Winner Of Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria by btyfulmnd(m): 7:04pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
ZnO: How do you mean? are you insinuating that if i give you a name you will be able to locate the girl anywhere in the north.Or you are looking for ready-made hausa/fulani girls that parade themselves in the north. |
Romance / Re: Blood Oath by btyfulmnd(m): 6:58pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
Wislet: Is it possible to do it separately? I am asking because i have tried avoiding her but she keeps insisting and i am sure she would resist any attempt if i bring up this issue. Cant i just meet a pastor and get it over with. |
Romance / Re: Blood Oath by btyfulmnd(m): 6:42pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
Excelboi: She has tried getting married and honestly none has worked, i tried keeping a steady relationship that might lead to marriage but honestly the whole stuff backfired. I want to move on but i am scared of failing again. |
Romance / Re: Blood Oath by btyfulmnd(m): 6:25pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
2buff: Are you serious and is it that bad? i did it out of ignorance and honestly it is just of recent that it started giving course for concern. The funny part of it is that she is in the US while i am in Germany at the moment. |
Celebrities / Re: Miss Taraba , Sylvia Nduka Is The Winner Of Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria by btyfulmnd(m): 6:18pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
ZnO: Are you sure? i have lived in the north for 25 years, schooled, served and worked there before i left the country, there is no state in the north that i have not been to. you cant just draw conclusions just because you have seen 13yrs old get married in Hadejia. I think you have something against the northern chiks,is there something you are not telling us. |
Celebrities / Re: Miss Taraba , Sylvia Nduka Is The Winner Of Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria by btyfulmnd(m): 4:43pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
ronkebp:Those of us that have been priviledged to travel to the north would understand what we are talking about but for Zno, i just wish you will do a more elaborate research without being bias and i assure you that all those qualities you mentioned, you will find them in a fulani chk and you wouldnt even find adequate adjectives to describe. |
Politics / Re: Hon Patrick Obahiabgon Apologises For Using Uncomprehendably Paposious Grammar by btyfulmnd(m): 4:35pm On Jun 27, 2011 |
His grammar might be very correct but we fail to understand that when English becomes inconceivable, then it becomes rubbish. As far as i am concerned he was just making a fool of himself because he has never spoken anything comprehendable. |
