i think most of us are derailing with our views on this. Should we be bothered about the name of the bank or its services, being an Islamic bank does not give it autonomy to operate outside the regulations of CBN. We have different telecommunication outfits and each decide the best way to deal with its subscribers so applies to services rendered by banks. Bank of the North was established solely to support the growth of the north even though it failed,it was perceived to be a northern bank and everything from the north in Nigeria is seen as Muslim. That is a wrong perception,it might be an Islamic bank but in the eyes of a good business man,it is just a normal opportunity to invest."leave wetin dey for motor body enter motor" |

I did a blood oath with an ex girlfriend of mine way back the university days out of ignorance and funny enough a lot has transpired between the both of us all this while, in terms of both of us not being together and moving on with our lives; but somehow we tend to come across each other despite all odds. So i keep wondering if it is the blood oath or destiny, views will be appreciated. |

It amazes me when i see the huge number of Nigerian graduates across the shores of the western world,i am not talking about "cut and nail graduates" but graduates who can stand and defend what they have anyday. Most of them doing well for themselves while others doing menial jobs just to live above board and when confronted, they tell you is much better than staying back home with your certificate and nothing to lay your hands on, then the question that arises is "what future does this hold for our beloved nation and is it worth it to throw away all the rigorous years in school just to end up doing something very different. |

Don't your think he needs more time, because i remember that the late Yar'adau was crawling compared to the pace of Jonathan. you should also take into cognisance the kind of political set up we have in Nigeria. |

Its one thing to get laid and it's another to be in love. From your post,it could be said that your friend was never in love with the elder brother, maybe there were just friends for convenience and nothing more or probably they were hanging on eachother for reasons best known to them. I am one of those who believe you cant love two people and if for any reason your friend feels that she is in love with the younger sibling and she is sure about it, i would suggest she spells it out to both of them than going back to the old friend and keep hurting herself. If she opens up and the one she is in love with feels the same way,i think the older brother would see reasons but come to think of it you didn't tell us if the older sibling is in love with your friend. However, if she tries and it doesn't work out, she should let it be or else she would get messed up by two brothers. |

If you want to be critic, then let us know what you are criticizing him for then we can all see reasons with you but when your statement is vague, it becomes difficult to see where you are coming from. |

From a guys point of view, was something wrong with your dressing, were you too forward or did you in any way portray a snobbish attitude. Nigerian guys are quite lovely and it would be very funny if all Nigerians guys you meet give you a cold shoulder, that means something must be wrong somewhere. |

it is pretty unfortunate what some Muslim scholars teach our children in the name of religion. If there has been a clear distinction between Arabic writings in publications and the Holy Quaran,i don't think this would have happened. |
