Taking a critical look at the spate of attacks on the NPF ,it beats one imagination on how a security outfit like the NPF which is saddled with the responsibility on maintaining law and order can be so vulnerable at all times by the evil sect Boko Haram. Could it be as a result of incompetence, inefficiency or compromise? These are lingering questions on so many lips whenever the NPF fails. The credibility questions on the NPF are becoming to numerous and no answers have been given so far, come to think of it, is it the June 2012 attack on the force headquarters in Abuja, or the escape of Kabiru Sokoto In February 2012,Sani Mohammed one of the commanders of Boko Haram is still at large a report that the NPF is still denying, the latest is the attack on the Special Anti Robbery Squad(SARS) on Monday morning where several prisoners were freed. Are we really safe in the hands of the police? These blunders are accumulating almost on a daily basis. Just last week the NPF and the Nigerian Army signed a pact on fighting terror, could this be the resultant effect of the pact? i just hope the NPF is not robbing its bad blood on the Nigerian Army because of the Jaji attack which is suppose to be the highest military college in Nigeria. What a big shame to the NPF, maybe we citizens should start getting ready to protect the police. Sincerely, if not for other security agencies in Nigeria, we would have been history by now, we must not loose hope and confidence in fighting this evil called Boko Haram, but the NPF must wake up from its slumber to meet the rising challenges in fighting terror, especially the Boko Haram evil. The Police is at it again with their tale of lies,we all know how the issue started Adams Oshiomhole even critised the police for bringing the facts on ground, today one Chuks Madueke who is paid by the NPF published this nonsense called article,I am highly disappointed, the NPF has lost it's credibility a long time ago, imagine the writer saying that the people involved should be promoted, that is to tell u that there is an undertone to this article.I just wonder what the NPF will gain from calling a reputable agency like the DSS a bad name I don't think Nigerians will agree with them. |
This is one of the Nigerian police blunders, and they keep failing us. |
The police always fail the people. |
Let us be very objective and not disrespectful,is the member representing your Federal constituency, and Senator doing well in the National Assembly?Have you ever seen them contributing to any bill or debate?the floor is open for various contributions. |
I think the OP is suffering from the crisis of identity no body can change where is coming,I am proud to be a Nigerian any day,any time. |
Opiti99: i will not blame the Nigerian government if it adopt Zakibiam approach to tackle terrorism in the country. As a matter of fact, the present administration has exercised maximum patience on the terrorists. Then the President can not fold alms and watch some useless cannibals destroying his govt...but we should continue to pray for peace to reignAmen oh my broda we all want peace. |
Whose report are we to believe?GEJ is the only President that we have, whether Abai has spoken the President's statement is final, there is nothing like lie here.... |
take dat: . Guy it is chat not chart! Stop this silly butt kissing, you pay per post sycophant!Pessimist you think everybody can bought like that,if you are not happy with GEJ performance so many people are happy, you better join the wagon before space runs out. ![]() |
take dat: So because the Halliburton and Siemens scandal happened before his administration is enough reason for him not to bring those involved to book when the host countries of the companies had done the necessary to their citizens who perpetuated the scandal! On the issue of insecurity you said with time he will get better. You just confessed that he is a trainee president! ThanksCall him whatever, whether is a trainee President or what we only have one President in Nigeria lets rally around so that he can succeed, unwarranted criticisms will not yield us any good. |
i don't want to talk much on last night Presidential media chat, but the truth is that i saw a different President yesterday with purpose and resolve my earnest prayer for him is to put those words into action in order for us to have a greater and prosperous country.Let us be hopeful for ones. |
Demdem: just make sure u make use of ur brain well before u dump it. feel freeFunny folks I just wonder how u guys are thinking always on the negative side, there are more positives to life, wake up from your slumber. |
Demdem: I dont think peeps like can reason well enough and have a mind of their own. if u can, u wont be sucking the retardeen's diick every now and then strongly believing that its the best thing that has ever happened to you since the days of Metuselahu need serious therapy I picture someone who is loosing touch with reality...what a character Demdem. |
moodswing: This Omojuwa dude is just looking for cheap popularity. He has lost his brain a long time ago...people like this cannot even stand for truth tankless of revolution. |

I don't think people like you can head a ward,if you have the qualities that GEJ has,u will be better the way you are now. |
toluene12: who is misleading who? have u been watching international media lately? and the only thing u see on CNN, BBC, NBC, CNBC, skynews are wonderful greece, beautiful spain, prosperous italy, debt free U.S, happy ireland or bankrupt china. I guess some people sit on their t.v and watch the couch. that you felt the grass is greener on the other side and jumped the fence without proper enlightenment is not the western fault, stop looking for whom blame.I agree with you to some extent that we should be talking abt problems and find solutions, but the the truth of the matter is Oyibo will never want us to be like them they will rather use their divide and rule mechanisms to sow seeds of discord amongst us |
GARRI (x7):oya start the revolution lets see,is it not in Tunisia that somebody set himself ablaze for that course, what are u still waiting for? |
Demdem: And when did he become an immortal that he cant retrace his steps especially when he realizes that he earlier goof. Anyway i said probably and its Elrufai that can explain himself better. When u say bad, what do u mean? Criticizing the retardeen IMO is in order and not out of place.I also see you retracing your steps against GEJ soon since its as flexible as that, the point still remains that criticism aids one to be more active but when it is done without respect, then the real essence is defeated, the office of the president is not fluke. |
Demdem: probably because he has seen the lightRealities indeed, people that cannot hold on to their words and principles are not fit to say anything bad abt others. |
GARRI (x7):u think I did nut school abi?nobody is saying that govt shouldn't carter for its people, but when people like are suggesting anarchy to replace govt then that's the figment of your imagination. |
Frankbaro: You can always count on my support and active particpation in this oncomming bloody revolution. Please just keep me imformed.wake up from ur dream... |
GARRI (x7):Go drink your garri and sleep,u think revolution is dring garri abi,Omojuwa and like you need to have their heads examined. |
take dat: Why is Reno so obsessed with El Rufai? Rather than concentrating on your job, you spend the whole time stalking El Rufai on social media and giving him undeserved attention. Why won't El Rufai feel he is larger than life when your boss seem confused! The pinced sized Mallam is the one suffering from obsession,I guess Reno is just doing his job by taming the foe,but come to think of it,El rufail sees himself as a saint yet his hands are dirty what an irony. |
Mckybarf: there we go again- africans! Always pointing fingers and accusing others like dumb retards yet we fail to realise that our problems and their solutions gave always rested with us. Please, we were also given brains with which to think. We keep talking of the oriental giants and how they have progress, but we never want to traverse the miles they did to get to where they are. Stop blaming america, naija, and start thinking with your brains.U are right on point, but the truth of the matter is that most reports abt Nigeria are exerggerated and are not factual, they are written mostly to discredit us we are not as bad as they put,u want to tell me that there is no corruption in other countries?why should ours be different. |
It's so sad that everything that comes from the diaspora are swallowed hook line and sinker, not knowing that most of their evil reports is to cause disunity amongst us,I have never seen a perfect a country, even the US who many countries are modeling it's democracy has a lot of problems, the latest is the petitions from 22 states who want to secede become Obama won the Presidential elections, can u imagine? We must change our orientation and be proud of our country inspite of its imperfections, saying bad things abt Nigeria will not change anything,we must be hopeful that things will get better soon, cos there is no place like home. |
Must we always say negative things abt our dear country, haba can't we be positive for ones... |
This is not news,we all know TINUBU is capable of doing,my problem is the shamelessness most of these politicians exhibit, they only see the specks in other people's eyes while they have a big log in their s it's so disheartening,ACN has corrupt members like TINUBU but they only see PDP as corrupt, corruption is corruption whoever commits it. |
The Nigeria Police Firce is endangering our lives by releasing terrorists on our streets, imagine someone who has aided and abated the release of a most wanted man walking freely on the streets, haba now Nairalanders, can somebody tell me what is wrong with the Nigerian police?this is totally unacceptable the likes of Zakari Biu should not be left just like that,it shows how unprofessional the NPF is... |
amaham: Guess de presido don't want a cell-phone detonated IED to burst open his clueless skullu need to resume medication. |
Well deserved but grammar go finish people Wei dey come govt house... |
OBJ is a big joker who always want to be associated for the wrong reasons,I have never seen anywhere in the world where violence has a battle without serious repercussions, dialogue and caution still are still the methods. |
taharqa: Plz @take dat, for God's sake stop inputting things that arent there just cos u want to push yr viewpoint or agenda. The committee neva said that sm of the data/info they usd were inconclusive/unverified cos sm govt agencies stalld d findings, but they stated unambigiously in dat 'Disclaimer' letter that they didnt hv enough time to do their work (which is curious cos in leaking d report they gave d impression that d report was 'final', which was also frankly d DECEPTIVE word Ribadu usd when submitting d report which we now know was false). This report that isnt even saying more than we already knew: the oil industry has been inefficient, wasteful and corrupt for decades, and which made Recommendations that are mostly already in d critical PIB bill presently in d NA, has been shamelessly POLITICIZE; and it is such a shame.... By d way, talking about Agbakoba plz go to Punchonline to read an article about his views on d committee he servd in and what he thinks of its current politisatn; also in d same Punch, try reading anoda article by d ACN on how they are changing their original tone on d report and really realising that the Propaganda they initially push is failing. Anoda article yterday on The Nation also shown that d report actuali exoneratd NNPC from under-reporting crude oil sales in at least recent yrs (even though they are oda infractures in NNPC has been involvd in). I will post these 3 articles once I get a hold of my laptop..... The point really is that if we left d silly urge to politicisatn of d report and focusd on real issues like finding out what has really gone wrong with d sector for decades and trying to find a SOLUTION to it, we may hv been doing d sensible thing; we may start d Solution making by resolving to push d PIB bill tru d NA this time aroundMy joy is that at least committee was set up,I don't think GEJ will just deceive us just like that, all we want is change in the way things are done in the sector, and I believe when everything is touched down we will changes in the oil sector not business as usual. |
