helinues:It is not the duty of "our local representatives" to create industries. Their job is to create the environment where we the people can create industries. And "our local representatives" are failing at creating that industry, though I feel Tinubu, who beat my Obi to the presidency, is trying a little bit somewhat. |
Seun:Was it an innocent post? So why let your spambot ban it? It's like you don't consider it's effect serious enough or you don't value ones contribution to the success of your forum. We put in a lot to compose posts on here, but your spambot just obliterates them for no reason whatsoever. This kills conversation, and might likely reduce interaction on the site. I'd bet you'd have noticed interaction is dropping too. Or has it not affected your revenue yet? I think what you've created here is a great achievement that would be valued way more in the future than it currently is. You've provided a forum for Nigerians to express themselves, which is immensely increasing awareness of us Nigerians, and is contributing to the growth and development of our nation. In fact, I'd call it Seun University, due to the amount of educating that occurs here, and for that I'd place you amongst the top 100 most influential Nigerians, and even the top 10 on my scale, though I feel your real value would be better recognised in the future sometime. I just hope you wouldn't let your spambot and inattention kill what you've created. |
Kukutente23:So, you are not claiming Sharia is taking over, and you are not asking me to be scared UK will be an Islamic nation? I'm glad you concede, though your posts where you claim UK is going to be like Syria and Iran are the opposite of your current claim. We are so confident that we allow anyone to practise their religion here privately. Jews have their private courts, as do Catholics and Muslims, but you can't go using whatever law those religions privately have to argue a case in our British courts. Note. Even our politicians are reluctant to do God because it turns the voting public off. And our Mayor Sadiq Khan is not and can not introduce Sharia law in London because he has no powers to do so, and he's smart enough to know he wouldn't win an election if he tried. |
Kukutente23:I not only went to secondary school in Nigeria, I taught in it too, and have taught in UK schools, and know the difference. Have you ever wondered how UK creates work for its citizens and has an unemployment rate Nigeria can only dream of? The answer is brain development due to the type of education each country provides. But as I said, you divert. Provide evidence that 3 times elected Mayor Sadiq Khan is introducing Sharia law in UK please. It shouldn't be that difficult if true. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/sharia-law-what-spreading-london-donald-trump-un-fact-checked-b1249405.html

Seun, why did the antispam bot banned budaatum for https://www.nairaland.com/4508641/american-politics-thread-trump-47th/5401#136916218. Ban expires at Today at 03:47:12 PM? It's like you don't quite understand the impact of your rogue bot. We come here to discuss things, then your words are spambotted for no reason whatsoever. Would you still post in X you post on if that constantly happend to you? |
Olaide1295:Actually, Japan, as opposed to the Japanese people who know no better, do need immigrants from wherever to come to their country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6AGTdNVkQk?si=JwG5SEUbkNjmdRRJ

Zaheertyler:These two sentences are rather contradictory. The first blames Tinubu, while the second blames we the people. It is we the people who should hold our public servants to account, but we are so devoid of power that we delegate our responsibility to others. Hopefully, we'd realise in time that it is us who suffer, and are responsible for alleviating our suffering instead of expecting President Tinubu or whoever to be our Messiah.

Na so we dirty while behaving like aliens from out of space dirtied us. |
It really is as sîlly as wishing evil on themselves. What's worse though, is those claiming Nigeria is a zoo. It's like they are calling themselves caged animals. |
Seun:How many times are you going to beg us to forgive your continued laxity? And are you aware this is happening? https://www.nairaland.com/8525485/nairaland-gradually-dying-seun-something#136900011 |
judewrites:Let me know if you understand that I am saying, the telephone book and the Bible and Shakespeare and Things Fall Apart were written by inspired human beings, and that shows how innovative we humans are that you think some imaginary gods had anything to do with it. |

Kukutente23:I would suggest you come and experience the education system in UK. You are taught the Five Ws from Key Stage One, which are not emphasised in Nigerian schools where 'belief' is more emphasised. Also, critical thinking is infused all through the British education system, and I can't say the same for Nigeria's. But all this is a digression. The fact remains that you have not provided any evidence that our Mayor Sadiq Khan is introducing Sharia to London, so I'm calling bs on your claim, and further responses that do not include the requested evidence will go unresponded to. |
The Hausas in the Orolu Kingdom of Ifon Osun have a Sarkin. They've lived with us so long and are indistinguishable from us natives, and have made us a major depot for grain from the north, which they trailer to us for repackaging and transport around the country. Now the Igbos are coming. One in particular rents land and is teaching us to grow tomatoes. |
The confusion intensified when the Nigerian government stated that special visas would be issued for skilled Nigerians to relocate to their counterpart, Kisarazu. Japan denied that such visas would be issued, and the Nigerian government later corrected its statement. However, this did little to dampen the rumors, with protests being organized for the agreement to be canceled. https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2025/09/25/japan/politics/jica-hometown-project/ |

judewrites:This your reasoning is perhaps why you don't appreciate human achievements enough. The Bible was as inspired as Shakespeare and China Achebe and the telephone book, and that is what makes it a great human innovation in my own opinion. But if you'd like to contest this, please start a thread in the religious section. |
Kukutente23:It is about people, and people are very different because of their ideology. In UK, you are not taught one single religion in any school, but are taught the history, the doctrines and the ideologies of world religions. And this makes you appreciate the similarities and the differences, and reduces strife. The result is, a Pakistani Muslim can be elected thrice as mayor of predominantly Christian London and a Hindu can be prime minister of UK Where as, in Nigeria, you are taught your own one religion is superior to other religions, and this creates strife whereby neither Muslims nor Christians love their neighbours, as you are showing me here, and Yorubas and Igbos are in strife over Lagos and bokoharam is terrorising the country. Basically, our bad ideology (and education) drives strife in Nigeria, while strife is educated out of the ideology of the majority of UK people. I must add that I am delighted that everyone does not reason strifely like you do. Perhaps its because you are not from Yoruba land (correct me if I'm wrong), which has a mixture of Muslims and Christians who live peacefully with each other. Kukutente23:Thankfully, Troy is on our curriculum, so we are not ïgnorant about it. You remind me of a certain Enoch Powell, who was peddling fear of black people, and that didn't work then, so your fear mongering is even less likely to work on us. |
Kukutente23:This is United Kingdom, but I guess you don't understand what the United means. For you information, we used to be a Catholic country till we kicked them to the side and created Church of England that is open to all, and we are kicking that aside to become a full blown science, as in use of senses, nation. We are more concerned with those trying to impose racist far right ideology on us than we are of Muslims. |
Serves you very right. And I hope your husband shows you how he feels too. |
Kukutente23:You know nothing about London, and you think our brain is programmed like Nigerians. For starts, the Mayor of London has no authority to impose a religion on anyone. And the 21 bishop in the House of Lords will not let anyone impose a religion on England when they can't even impose their Christian religion on us. |
OriOko88:Why don't you show us where you read online that Sadiq has now established sharia courts in London so we can all access the quality of you reading?
|
basilico:I am very certain protons, neutrons, and electrons were clearly explained to you, but your inability to accept responsibility makes it impossible for you to admit it went right over your head. |
I am very delighted that Londoners are so brain developed that we don't agree with dump, and elected a Muslim as our Mayor three times. I understand how difficult that is for some Nigerians to comprehend however, because it would be like electing an Igbo as governor of Lagos or of my own Osun State. If Sadiq was doing what that despicable dump claims we'd not elect him, note. |
|
OredoPikin:I think you are refusing to accept that we are condemning your shallow reasoning. |
Calling "one Wale", a "set of people" shows the level of reasoning we are being told to accept here. If such people read about a Nigerian imprisoned in USA, they'd likely label all Nigerians criminals. |
