steadygo:You see the bold? It indicates irresponsibility, because you are not supposed to wait to be given, but should get off your ass and go and get. And not understanding this is the reason "democracy you are talking about does not exist in our country". It can not exist until we put it there. And if we do not put it there, not only will we not move forward, we will move backwards, and by that I mean whatever we claim to suffer today will increase ten fold tomorrow. And when we've suffered enough, our eyes will hopefully open. Do know that as far as democracy is concerned, we are young learning babies who will learn as we grow older or die in our ignorance and refusal to learn to democratise better, because there isn't a better alternative to rule by the people for the people being ruled.

Jakumo:Delusionarily improving the odds until they don't, lol. I wish more will understand what you've written. |
If you are in UK you'd wonder why you never see Nigerian avocado in the market, and this might make one hesitate from investing in avocado in Nigeria. Do you know why there's no Nigerian avocado (or yam, or plantain, or beans etc) in UK markets? |
Westchester:Has prayer ever provided you with your daily bread without you getting off your ass to bake the bread? Can you fly to the moon just because a lot of people decide to believe you can fly to the moon? Will you believe you will survive jumping from the twelfth floor of a building without jumping to test if you will survive? These sort of questions are what maths and physics will help you answer instead of you mere believing. |
Meerahbel:I don't understand the need for accountability from the poster. It's after all not her money, so why should he account to her? Do know that 440k x 12 months x 3 years is 15.8m, which is what he might have if he did not spend any on himself. And since he has 14m in the account you saw, it means he's spent less than 2m in 3 years. Leave! Just know that you'd be receiving a lot less from him after you are gone, and its those children of yours who will suffer the most! |
I bet those who claim it works didn't learn physics and maths in school and don't know how the world works. budaatum: |
ariesbull:Rich peoples' children do not just visit. They live here in the houses their father's stole money to purchase for them, is a better truth with evidence. |
steadygo:Yes, I do believe democracy means a lot in the future of our country. We can go out there and vote for corrupt or unqualified people to rule us and make us suffer or we ourselves can learn not to be corrupt and qualify ourselves to rule ourselves better so we suffer less. The choice is ours. What's beautiful about democracy is you get what you elected, and you learn from your past votes. If you elect corrupt or unqualified people to rule you and you suffer, you can either elect better people next time or not until you suffer enough and learn. Not every Nigerian is corrupt or unqualified. And the sooner we learn to tell the difference the better. |
Image123:Really? I guess this describes your own attitude. There are indeed many who would prefer being naked ignorant slaves in Eden, while some would rather acquire knowledge and understanding and rule and subdue and multiply and be blessed.

I'll accept this as a first post on the subject, and wait patiently for more |
Someone needs to explain to you what democracy means and implies and compels you to do, so you might stop behaving like our current government came from Mars and imposed itself on you. Once you [we] know what democracy is, then perhaps you and more of us will be more concerned and diligently scrutinise those we elect to govern us.

nateevs:And that is the problem. Kirk runs verbal diarrhea and ignorons think he's said something sensible. |
Thegamingorca:He doesn't need to quit because driving a keke napep to the podium is an achievement he'd be recognised for which will earn him much money. Besides, does he look like a quiter to you? |
Reminds me of my 2 passports. One says born in London UK, while the other says born in Ifon Osun in the Orolu Kingdom of Osun State. I knew I'd have problems with it one day, and did while attempting to fly back to UK for medical treatment in 2016. And unfortunately, I was at my weakest so could only plead, and thankfully, met a man with compassion. I'm never making that error again! |

Ilamina:I know they are as diverse and different as girls from any state or country.

No, I have not faced this before. I have found that disrespectful people have no regard and respect for themselves, and I don't expect them to have more respect for me than they have for themselves, so I ensure they stay away from me. |
Good for him if he's paying them out of his own pocket. But if the people in his constituency let him put his hand in their pockets to pay "101 aides" with their money, good for them I guess. |
Keke Napep wins from start.

You all should go pay an accountant to sell you some education. If you go now before the rush of people like you, it will likely cost you much less than it would in the future. Alternatively go get a book on income tax, or google it. |
Mabuggi88:No, not because of Chinese loans, but to go learn how they run their country and develop their nation and have improved the livelihood of their citizens in the last 50 years so we can emulate the same development. My 'government' lost. I am Obidient. |
CoronaVirusPro:I have my 10 year old niece already researching scholarships in China. She wants to be an engineer, and I need her to be a gateway for the grandchildren. |
bookson:Israel's atrocities against Palestine, and how the world is lukewarm in its reaction is rather interesting and obsess worthy, and in fact reminds me of the worlds non-reaction to apartheid genocide in South Africa until people forced seriousness. Israel will become a pariah nation, just like Germany was for decades and until the world forgave them. https://www.un.org/unispal/document/genocide-as-colonial-erasure-report-francesca-albanese-01oct24/ https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/israel-gaza-why-experts-say-genocide-international-law |

Biodun556:I'd like to take note but I'd need some facts or evidence to take note of. Got any evidence of a US president who went against Israel middle east plans who did not complete his term in office? In fact, from what you've written, how did Obama oppose Israel's middle east plans and do two terms? |
