Have you tried putting chains around her legs and tying her to yourself so she can't go see her ex-husband? Seriously, I think your supposed love is turning your brain to mush, and it indicates a low self esteem in yourself, or you'd be asking us how to stop yourself receiving the abuse she's giving you. |
What If The Serpent Was RightWell, lets look and see, shall we. 4And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And on eating it, Eve did not drop down dead, but the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. So, no death, yet, at least. 3And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: 4And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: 5And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died So, basically, the God's supposed "for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die", was like at least 800 years latter, which would make the supposed poisonous fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil a very slow acting poison. And in the meantime while waiting for your surely death you give birth to Seth and Cain and Abel, and populate the entire earth. Now think. If someone tells you at say 13, that a thing called knowledge will kill you if you eat it, and you eat it anyway, and afterwards give birth to children who will populate an ordinary village in a state and you die at 93 years old, would you call that a bad deal and claim the serpent lied? But I guess you can't see it this way if you believe God and not humans like you wrote the book you are reading, because if you think it was written by humans, you'd have to ask what their intentions were. |
sonmvayina:All this after God had created so called man in his Image, both male and female created he them, and told them to rule the earth and subdue and multiply and be blessed, and it was good. Then he rested on the seventh day and afterwards created this so called man he then created from mud and put the man in a garden to tend it naked. Some of us know which of the two creations we'd rather be, I guess.

KingPure:Point is, how are they going to police me having a sim card phone? Are they planning to look in my bra and pant where I hide it to get past security? In fact, am I 10 years old? |
otipoju:I can just about see you beating your woman because you love her. |
DelilahMakinde:Then he can keep his money. I'm not that desperate. |
LoneSoldier:I think there's a problem with where you've been looking, and I suggest you look elsewhere and wider. Perhaps start from inside your own mother's home, and come tell us she brought nothing to the family you were brought up in to. As a point, a man and woman met at work. He was a lawyer and her boss, while she is an accountant. The work had a no married couple policy, so they decided the wife should resign. But when she told her boss, he informed her the company is doing a review, and would likely need accountants more than lawyers, so they reconsidered, and he resigned. The company eventually got rid of half the lawyers it employed. Since then, like 20 years ago, the wife has been bringing home all the bacon, and the husbands contribution has been providing a roof, which he is able to do because his father has property. They have 3 children that the man says bother him when he is watching Man U. He does not help them with their school work, nor engage with them much, which his wife has to do when she gets back from work. And when night comes, he wants to fuq, and she, being a Christian who believes its his entitlement, lets him. They moved to UK last year, because the wife wanted to do her masters, and they now live in a house bought by her mother. She studies and works, while he still sits on his lazy ass watching Man U! Now tell me she brings nothing to the table in marriage!

What if? I wish you'd finish what actually is, before "what if". |
oridavid:Taught by God to tend a tiny garden naked, as opposed to rule the earth and subdue and multiply and be blessed? Not very knowledgeable, I rare say. They called it the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, so what else could it possibly be? The text even goes on to emphasis its effect on those who ate it: And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. Or would you argue that ignorant people who have not nourished themselves with knowledge can be wise, even if you don't want to agree that it is knowledge that opens eyes? But I must confess that I am not in the least surprised at this your view. Those in Plato's Cave would not enter, nor would they allow those who would to enter neither Yet, your eyes will open one day! |
basilico:I take it they sat in the White House and signed an executive order because they can?

Mineisgrace:Please! Man said na "capacito". He change "capacito", the fan no work. Then he says "change coil", and you are considering trusting him and changing coil? I beg you to come tell us he told you "na your solar installation", and asks you to pay him to change your solar installation. Alternatively, go look for a more competent maintenance man! Because, even if he is right this time, his previous wrongs show he does not know what he's doing. That said. You remind me of a doctor I once met. If he behaved like your "maintaince man", I think i might not be alive. https://www.nairaland.com/4437570/gospel-according-luke/1#72867008 |
benalvino3:You've been responded to, though I know I shouldn't bother. https://www.nairaland.com/8514478/sowore-vows-not-delete-anti-tinubu#136722717 |
If you live in zoo you must be an animal. I am Nigerian, and I am a decent respectful human being. And the Igbos that Yoruba me knows are very decent human beings too who don't live in a zoo. |
HeatSeeker:I wonder how you've come to that conclusion, lol. Should I introduce you to my husband or wonderful grandchildren so you can correct your assumption? |
Dogalmighty17:It seems unscheduled, so he could not have prepared for it with product in storage. Meanwhile, some are praising further disruption by Nupeng, like they don't know any increase in cost due to their demands will only add to price of petrol at the pump. We Nigerians will learn when it hits our pockets. And if we can't afford it, Dangote's market is way more than Nigeria. https://businessday.ng/business-economy/article/these-4-african-countries-buy-petrol-from-dangote-refineries/

I must pay for seun to go learn from X so he can stop his reckless spambot deleting my posts!

They picked a good time for it. Dangote is halting production till November, so this is a good excuse to not pay them while they are not working. https://www.nairaland.com/8513075/dangote-refinerys-production-halt-into Dogalmighty17, I agree with you. |
Yes, consider it. The $66 will buy you more than the $200 you now earn. And before anyone quotes me, use brain to consider the absurdity of this thread! |
HeatSeeker:You ask me this despite everything I've said in the thread I posted a link to? Na wa o. But I'm going to forgive you, because you can't possibly know with whom you discuss. Go read my comments on the thread I linked again please. It might help you understand my upbringing and thoughts on marriage to a man who deserves me. But so you can't say I avoided your questions. No, my "definition of marriage" is not synonymous with slavery. My very strong mother was not a slave to my respectful father. And no one can enslave me because my parents did not bring me up to be a slave. Hope this helps.

You wife is not valuing you because of money but because of your entire package. And your lack of understanding is what has made her say she was joking. Learn your value, is my suggestion. It isn't only measured in dollars and cents. |
This, while some are bringing their daughters up to be enslaved to men. https://www.nairaland.com/8513650/must-succumb-husband-he-boss#136708270 |

Max won! I love Tsunoda, but RB should please sack him now. And I can't understand why the teams fuqup is Piastri's fault. If RB try that rubbish with Max, he'd tell them where to go.

basilico:I am very not interested in anything you have to say on this subject. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/aug/20/family-in-fear-after-tommy-robinson-shares-video-of-black-man-with-white-granddaughters |
Dreamhans1:You can not know if Obi is revolutionary if you can't be bothered to look at what he's offering. And while you are waiting for your revolutionary leader, whom you are likely to miss because you can't be bothered to look and see if they offer anything revolutionary or not, non-revolutionary people will get elected and derevolution. As for "other Nigeria tribes sees the Igbos as a irritant", you could not even bother to look at what your tribes person offered, which in my opinion is much worse than those Nigerians you mention. Do note that Obi got votes from tribes that are not his. So, I can't agree that most Nigerians are as you've described. My tribe is Yoruba, and I campaigned for my non-tribes man Obi because I am not īgnorant enough to not campaign for a person not from my tribe.
|
benalvino3:This conversation was about racism, and not about Tommy or gangs, but you must deflect to waste one's time as you do. Tommy is racist because he's labelling all Pakistanis and Muslims as grooming gangs, and we don't condone such īgnorance here. You are very welcome to come campaign for us to be racist, but I doubt you'd get far. I'm done. Tommy and you don't deserve my time. |
basilico:Tommy did not just share it. He added commentary which was lies.
|
QuietDamilare:It is very easy to run. Or is there somewhere in our agreement that says you will put chains around my legs, that you think I will braīnlessly sign? I'll just ask Aisha to borrow me a burqa, and he wouldn't even see me running. |
Dreamhans1:You are Igbo and you haven't bothered to read Obi's manifesto, but want his tribe to be president? I am Yoruba, and I campaigned tire for Obi, who's manifesto I read, but more importantly wanted a change from APC. I didn't expect him to be revolutionary because he is not a god, but I knew another APC government would not probe the APC government before it so we could see if Buhari had been corrupt or not. That said, I'm delighted with some of what the revolutionary accountant president is doing (subsidy removal, for starts).. Hopefully we've had our last military ruler (after Buhari). But with people who can't be bothered to read manifestos, I expect our suffer to continue a while longer. |
GorillaApp:I should calm down because your thinking is wrong? Some people sha can't just accept correction, it seems, and would rather blame others for their errors. You have a blessed Sunday. |
