member13:Our current president won because he got more votes than anyone else. And I think organising his supporters had a huge role to do with it. And if someone organises better and shows they have more to offer, that person just might be our next president regardless of their tribe. I of course must compensate for the îgnorants in the electorate who vote along tribal or religious lines instead of merit. Good thing is, when we elect the wrong leaders we all suffer, and there's no way my suffering will be more than anyone else's. But in time, that suffering will make us abandon our îgnorant ways, and vote more wisely irrespective of tribe or religion. My only prayer is that we don't wait till 2125. |
bemeruca:Write him to request one. You hopefully are not expecting me to apologise on his behalf. |
bemeruca:Read the article. I did not single out Tommy, who singled himself out to his million of followers. And if you bother to investigate, you'd find its not the first time he singles out racist lies like that. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/mar/12/tommy-robinson-racist-invective-led-to-far-right-targeting-family-court-hears?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other |
This is the reason they'd want us believing we are created from mud to slave naked in a garden of Eden while they are created in God's image and are ruling the earth and subduing and multiplying and are blessed. But I can not blame the white man when the book is available for us to read for ourselves and understand. https://www.nairaland.com/8513669/jw-047-why-left-still#136711884 Incidentally, the British were convinced they were mud too, until a certain king wanted a fuq and was forced to open his eyes and see. The result was the Age of Enlightenment (or Questioning, as I'd rather call it), and an empire on which the sun never set. Our time will come. Our eyes just need open so we see. |
bemeruca:You mean like the one your Tommy Robinson falsely exposed here? Olajuwon Ayeni, a musician from Redcar, North Yorkshire, has been racially abused and falsely labelled a paedophile in the week since the family video was stolen from the TikTok account of his wife, Natalie, whom he married five years ago, and shared by extremists online. |
Pupanchie:I think it is you who define marriage as "bought to own you". I have been brought up to know my own self worth, and can not reason like you do. I was not brought up to think I am cattle that can be bought, and I would not have my daughters brought up to think they are like cattle that can be bought, nor my sons to think they are buying cattle when they marry. Before his "lead to", and after I have collected my million US dollars (pity its not pounds by the way), I plan to move to Traore Land as linked. He can come chase me for his sēx there if he has the liver. |
Dreamhans1:We are a democracy! We don't "allow". You contest and campaign and hope you win and are elected. Personally, I am disappointed my tribe man beat my desired Peter Obi. But knowing it took Buhari three turns to win, my hope is not lost, though he needs to organise better than he currently is. |
bemeruca:Go read up on your Tommy. A reasonable person would see he is a cretin who deserves the jail time he's got. He in fact proves that UK is not racîst like he is. We elected a Muslim as Mayor of London 3 times. |
MaxInDHouse:And this is the rub of it, isn't it. It pains you that you can't get people to join your JWness, which would not be the case if you had anything worthwhile to offer, or weren't intending to subjugate people to your will and desires like your supposed God did in the Garden of Eden. Thankfully, Jesus don't care what organisation one belongs to, for his God loves everyone, regardless of the organisation they may be in, so far as they love their neighbours and their (not your!) God. |
bemeruca:If you bother to read my posts, you'd see there a link to a list of Tommy's legal infractions, so stop being lazy expecting me to do work you should do for yourself that I've already done for you. You and your Tommy have no right to my time or my effort, and I suggest you go read up on him before defending the indefensible. We don't condone his sort here in UK, and that's why he's jailed as he should be. |
bemeruca:The courts in UK do not rely on what the BBC says before passing judgements. If the BBC says untruths about Tommy, he can sue for defamation, which he hasn't to the best of my knowledge, perhaps because he hasn't yet been privileged to have your amazingly wonderful legal mind representing him, which I'd be delighted to see you correct, please. |
MistyDense:Start by telling me what you understand from what you read me say to start with please, so I can help you understand what I've already said and that I am certain you must have read me say. Its after all not possible that you don't understand anything in what I wrote and that you read. Or is it? |
bemeruca:It is not BBC that prosecuted your Robinson, and found him guilty and jailed him. The jury did. And you are very welcome to go defend him in court. Do let me know how it goes. |
bemeruca:You are going to have to provide better evidence than GBNews for your claim above, because they are no authority, and is worse than Fox News and more like Newsmax. It was independent reports that said what you claim, and not any authorities, and if you looked it up, you'd see "in part", and "one factor among many". That does not however justify Tommy's racist anti-muslim campaign, which legal authorities have found to be illegal and judged him and jailed him for. Independent reports and inquiries have confirmed that British authorities, including the police and local councils, failed to investigate child sexual abuse, in part due to a fear of being labeled racist. However, this was not an admission from a single entity but a conclusion drawn by independent bodies following investigations into major scandals. The fear of causing racial tensions was one factor among many contributing to systemic institutional failure. |
Dreamhans1:Yes, from a union, as in go and be by yourselves, which we are not offering any Nigerian tribe that wishes to go anywhere. You after all do not see Nigeria expelling anyone, do you? We are in fact doing the exact opposite, not allowing any tribe that might want to leave to leave with our land. We are not the State of Singapore (Malaysia). We are Nigeria, and we've decided to do our thing our way. Hope that's clear. |
Tochi3:I think you have English comprehension issues. The full sentence is "But I guess these days, such skills are non-essential, and the teachers should do it instead of training their students to cut grass and clean". I also wrote that "The result? (of teachers cutting grass and cleaning our environment that we students did in my days is) Unclean environments in our communities because those living there were never taught to eliminate dirt and diseases". Basically, if teachers cut grass and clean the environment, the students will not be taught how to cut grass and clean their environment, and the result is dirty environments that cause disease. So, if you want dirty diseased environments, make the teachers cut grass and clean the environment for the students who ought to. And while you are at it, apply for a job of teacher that includes you cutting grass and cleaning your environment instead of you training your students to cut grass and clean their environment, if that's what you understand I'm saying. Just know others are reading what we write, and might be comprehending what you are not. |
bemeruca:As in, not only the courts and the prosecutor and juries are not on his side, he is public enemy too? I do agree completely. We don't like racist here. |
No problem. If there is no sim card in my phone it's ok. Someone help me with an e-sim please. Its cardless. |
basilico:Every court judgement you disagree with must be by a "biased prosecutor infront of a biased judge", in your opinion, despite the fact that a jury decides. But I guess you just left out 'biased jury of his peers' by mistake, and believe the entire UK legal system is against your Tommy. |
If I were a man, I'd marry him. Hopefully, he's not smart enough to say "sẹ́x included" before I do, because I won't, and he can go sue me in court. Immediately after marrying him, I plan to move to Traore land, note, even though I disagree with Traore. |
imiski:Marriage is not a ship. And even on a ship, we'd likely agree where we are sailing to and not only you deciding. What causes more divorce is men being incompetent captains. If they worked better with their crew, they'd likely agree on destination and how to get there instead of one thinking na only him sabi. Notwithstanding, men are out there educating their daughters to at least be co-captains of a ship. So I strongly suggest weak men go for crew members, and not those who co-captain with them.
|
vybzkartel:Not interested, yet you talk to a married woman deep into the night, and create a thread on Nairaland to ask us if a married woman is into you? Lie to yourself more please. You are not convincing. |
Voting in US and UK, for instance, affects the individuals income tax, so they are more concerned who they elect. We, on the other hand, accept a loaf of bread to vote for who gives it us without considering what they'd do once elected. Then, we wail. We'd learn, eventually. Especially now that the government is hell bent on taxing us more. |
Guestmale:Any reasonable person who understands economics and how fuel subsidy was draining our income would most definitely support the removal of subsidy. But perhaps look at it this way. Imagine I am your father, subsidising your feeding, and then I lose my job and my income, or find that what I have left is insufficient for the education of your siblings. Of course you would argue that I shouldn't remove your feeding subsidy, but your siblings would likely approve when I now have money left to educate them. Your argument that I am spending my money drinking beer and marrying olosho is no excuse to continue subsidising your feeding. Go and earn your own money please, and subsidise whatever you want, would be my retort. |
bemeruca:I don't need bother proving anything to you. Your Tommy Robinson has been dragged before a court of law and has been found guilty numerous times, and that's good enough for me. Now, if you believe he is not guilty as found, you may present yourself as his lawyer and drag his appeal to the higher courts of the land. Just let me know when they decide in yours and his favour, and I will gladly changed my mind. Until then, my opinion and that of the courts of the land are as stated, whether you accept it or not. Under a High Court order made in 2021, the English Defence League founder had been barred from repeating false allegations against Jamal Hijazi, after the then-schoolboy successfully sued him for libel. |
MaxInDHouse:No, Max, I will not get off this thread where you seem to be presenting lies and do not want them to be debunked. And, unfortunately for you, blocking me will not stop me reading what you write, and will only stop you seeing my responses, I hope, which, since I am not writing for you is no skin off my nose. |
MaxInDHouse:This is a lie. Eve did not write 1Timothy 2:14, so it's dishonest to present it as Eve's realisation. |
Dreamhans1:Singapore was not expelled to any desert. They were expelled from a union with Malaysia who did not want them to be part of their combined nation anymore, which is very different to those seeking Oduduwa or an Igbo Republic, whom I say we need. Thanks for suggesting the North Pole though. Land might be cheaper there for those who want to expel themselves from Nigeria. We will not stop you leaving if you get on a plane and go. Just don't be claiming you are Nigerian once you've gone please. And good luck. |
Amotolongbo:Can you imagine? Unfortunately, many do not reason superiorly like you do. |
chiefolododo:Why should they be compensated for illegal structures? They could after all go seek compensation in court if their house was legally constructed, no? |
