bemeruca:You should listen to him instead of lyîng and making things up. https://www.youtube.com/live/Q_OZRdMCbnI?si=Cx71tsOZec52NsGx He is in fact in jail for his racist comments, so I guess I should prepare for you arguing UK is rǎcist against him. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c39jrjm2w89o |
MaxInDHouse:You are not in anyway my concern, and my posting in this thread need not concern you if you don't want it too. My claim, despite any corruption, is not the Bible's corruption, but the corruption of understanding the current Bible by people like you who can not see the difference between a creation in God's image, and a creation from mud. Those created in God's image can not be created from mud, unless you want to claim your God is created from mud, which I doubt you'd dare. Only those who want to subjugate others would peddle such nonsense. The slave owners in the United States did the same by not letting their slaves read at all, because reading is the result of eating fruits of knowledge. And we all know the result of them learning to read contributed to their emancipation, just as a God would want, and as Jesus taught. |
benalvino3:I hate Tommy Robinson for his îgnorance in claiming Muslims are rǎpists, and for the racism he promotes. You are however welcome to assume I defend rǎpists. Why don't you go räpe someone and ask me to defend you so you can see how well I do defend you? Thankfully, UK is so devoid of people who reason like you, that we have elected a Muslim as Mayor of London 3 times already. But I'm sure you'd claim he's raping Londoners and that's why we elect him. Perhaps you should advise your Tommy Robinson to run for Mayor instead, so you can see how many support his îgnorant view and opinion. |
Tochi3:You do care or you wouldn't be seeking my opinion. And you seem to not understand my opinion which I have clearly stated, and which I advise you go read again. Would you cut grass if you were a teacher? Would you even accept the job if grass cutting was part of the job description of the teaching job you accepted? Why should teachers cut grass when they have loads of students they can teach to cut grass? Is there no benefit in students learning to cut grass and cleaning their environment? |
I don't think you've shown enough interest in a girl you've been dating for 2 years but have never met. In fact, I feel you have not got a clue what "obvious love" means, because neither have you shown any love (sending her money despite her not asking is not love, its you buying a product!), nor can I say she has shown you much love either, and what you've not seen can hardly be obvious. If trust has broken down to the extent you claim, I strongly suggest you move on and find someone else to love who loves you back. But if you do love each other and are willing to do the work that strengthens love, then do it and stop being lazy thinking love needs no work. Good luck. |
bayelsaowei:It would be a very amusing day when it happens. Proud boys will need to stand by protecting it from being blown up some day. |
MaxInDHouse:Long before your Bible, which many accept has been edited and corrupted by JWs, the Torah itself was edited with lots of very bad bits removed, and translations had additions and omissions, and that's apart from those done when Christians got hold of it. So calling a book written and edited by human beings in itself, God's word, just shows how little you know. Notwithstanding, one can make it God's word with a godly understanding. A God will not create different classes of human beings. And a God that does should not be worshipped by those created as lower class naked îgnorant slaves. Amazingly, the story in the first 5 chapters of Genesis 1 teach people how to elevate themselves from ignorant naked slaves to creations in God's Image. One just need see Adam's supposed achievement of being elevated by Eve from naked ïgnorant mud into a self employed populator of the entire earth with human beings. But I guess some slaves need others to remain slaves like them, and would therefore peddle the îgnorance that they îgnorantly believe. Jesus never taught such tripe, and would rather you know you are gods with usable senses, and not îgnorant believing mud. Hence the Word, which is not just the literal word as you believe, but the implications of what is believed and understood. |
bayelsaowei:Except that it is AI, so no knocking down required. Humorous/Satirical Context: This image is a work of satire or humor, as Donald Trump is not one of the presidents featured on the actual Mount Rushmore, and the scene depicts a fictional addition to the national memorial. |
MaxInDHouse:Max, I don't want to engage you at all. And in all sincerity, my response here is not to engage you, but to present an opposing view to yours for readers to consider for themselves. The Bible is very clear for those who have eyes to see and can read. The Image of God was created on day 6, and was told to rule the entire earth and subdue and multiply and be blessed, and to eat every seed bearing fruit, which clearly included the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. While the creation from mud was after God is written to have rested on day 7, which means on day 8 or afterwards, and it was ordered to work naked in a tiny garden, which is not the earth. And was told not to eat the fruits of the tree of knowledge, which anyone with a brain of their own in their head that they know how to use would see would make the creation from mud ignorant and unable to rule and subdue anything at all, not to talk of a garden they don't even own, or a earth they are too îgnorant to know exists or understand the implication of ruling. Now, it does favour church leaders to have naked ignorant creations from mud in their churches that they can control and exploit. And I can see how many have been convinced a creation in God's image is the same as a creation from mud, but I know that ignorance and darkness can not forever overcome the Light of Knowledge and Understanding, and I have faith in the human ability to eventually use their own senses to see and reason. England did it. They realised they don't need to be mud, and can be created in God's image, and it led to them creating an empire on which the sun never set. And I know we will too, once we abandon the îgnorant belief your sort peddle, and understand what we read with our own God given senses. |
maiunguwar:That, appropriate time, in my own opinion, would be when we are sufficiently advanced in knowledge and understanding to divorce amicably if we must. United Kingdom was one country ruled from Westminster. But when they became sufficiently intelligent, they semi-divorced and formed regional parliaments, which some would argue is a precursor to eventual devolution and the formation of separate countries of Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland, in the future. Nigeria can do the same, and separate amicably, but anyone who thinks they can separate because we are supposedly divided, should have another think. On the side. My Orolu Kingdom of Ifon Osun, and Ilobu Osun, are currently killing each other. That's how divided we are. So I guess both towns - nay! Villages - should separate instead of educating hatred and division out of our stupîd ignorant minds? You may not know these 2 towns, but a Lagos analogy would be Yaba and Ojuelegba, that have almost morphed into each other. |
MaxInDHouse:Perhaps its you who should read people's post carefully before jumping in to respond. I am disagreeing with everything you wrote, and I am claiming the initial purpose described for humans as created in Genesis 1 has been corrupted by Genesis 2 when mud humans were created. If a satan can meddle in the Garden of Eden, it sure could have meddled between Genesis 1 and Genesis 2, I'll have it considered by those who may. Regardless. Considering oneself created from mud, is different from considering oneself created in God's image. And I know which I would prefer since I'd rather not be an ignorant naked slave to anyone or anything, and would hate to be deprived of the nourishment gained from eating fruits of knowledge. I would never agree to be part of an organisation that encourages the non-use of the God created brain in my head, because I want to be much more than a naked ignorant gardener. And I hope those who read this thread will consider both our views and choose which they would rather be. |
Tochi3:I clearly wrote, "cutting grass and cleaning the school ground was like week one duty for we students". In essence, is what you understood what I wrote, or was I too busy cutting grass and cleaning the school ground as a student for my English to be so misunderstood? |
In my day, cutting grass and cleaning the school ground was like week one duty for we students. We also did agric, which involved cultivating and planting crops as part of our education. But I guess these days, such skills are non-essential, and the teachers should do it instead of training their students to cut grass and clean. The result? Unclean environments in our communities because those living there were never taught to eliminate dirt and diseases. |
nnadychuks:I always have a need for knowledge. It helps me help people like you. And yes, it has helped me, though not for cowardice, which was never my problem. |
My favourite would be that of Emanuel Swedenborg who allegedly visited Heaven and Hell and returned to give us a "real life experience" of what he encountered there. I'd have to be brain dead to believe it though, instead of learning from it and him. |
GorillaApp:They would not settle out of any court. The court has decided, and awarded damages, and Meta has already settled by paying. https://www.nairaland.com/8513415/us-lawyer-mark-zuckerberg-sues/1#136704416 |
I will call this the result of bad education of girls. If her father is Otedola, not much more is expected, unfortunately. https://www.nairaland.com/8513650/must-succumb-husband-he-boss#136708270 |
NaijaphiliaBlog:Just imagine. In the skills section of some children's CV, Candy Crush is all they'll have, while competing for jobs with those who developed much better valuable skills as children. I am personally grateful you posted it. Parents here can not now claim they never knew, and those Candy Crush children will definitely ask why when their Candy Crush skills don't get them employed nor feed them. |
Imagine Dangote not applying merit to the building of his refinery. He likely wouldn't own nothing better than a pure water factory. Not awarding projects by merit is what is stymying our development and progress, and the result is wailing and hunger and death. We will learn when there's half of us left, I hope, or until we completely destroy ourselves. As for the production of good competent leaders, perhaps we should start with ourselves by ensuring we are sufficiently knowledgeable to know what good leaders are, and learn how to choose them. Because, in this democratic dispensation, we are responsible for choosing the leaders we choose, and should blame no one but ourselves for choosing bad leaders. |
What ignorance! While men today are raising their daughters to be bosses, this Otedola is telling his daughter to be a slave to some man! Hopefully, most men here with daughters will not make the mistake he is stupîdly making. As for mothers, I hope you are smarter than to raise slaves.

One cup of coffee. It had milk and honey in it. 5 more characters needed |
Meanwhile, most parents are training their children to win gold in Candy Crush. Sadly. |
Have you considered Neuro Linguistic Programming? I suggest you research it to see if its any help. |
No where in Genesis does it say, "and God created a serpent called satan", so smart people should wonder where that serpent came from. Was there another God creating somewhere else, perhaps? What we can very clearly read is some humans were created in God's image to rule the earth and subdue and multiply and be blessed, while some humans were created from mud to slave naked in the Garden of Eden. The images of God were not given any laws, while the mud was told not to eat fruits of knowledge. And the mud was lied to that he would die if he ate fruits of knowledge, and some will convince you he did die, like 800 years after eating the fruit that would surely kill him. If I want to enslave you, I must use fear, and lies, and ensure you remain ignorant, and somehow, between Genesis 1 and 2, those things crept in, which is very likely considering the editing and rewriting and deletions that occurred to give us the book we read today. If your God tells you fruits of knowledge will kill you, then I strongly suggest you question that God. And if your church preaches knowledge kills, then they perhaps just need you for tithes. Jesus would not have been a slave owner, and he promised you the eternal life that the Genesis 3 God "placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life". Hopefully, you can see the contradictions in the text, and therefore apply your own ability to critically reason, instead of mere believing what satans who want to enslave you want you to believe.

Eriokanmi:Please don't hesitate to tell me you told me so if it does happen. I shall gladly eat my humble pie. |
LordReed:This is what killed our refineries. By the time a maintenance is completed, another maintenance is due. We can't do any of the following if it don't work. But now Africa’s largest refinery is beginning to disrupt Europe’s Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) markets. According to OPEC, the Dangote refinery has cut down Nigeria's imports of petroleum products from Europe. According to experts, the Dangote refinery might end the decades-long gasoline trade from Europe to Africa, valued at $17 billion per year.Hopefully Dangote will get on top of this, or he'd end up an unreliable seller to potential customers. |
Eriokanmi:Please go. Pack your load and leave my Nigerian land for those of us who are Nigerians. Trust me, no one will stop you if you go. Just make sure you go far enough away so you can't be mistaken for Nigerian, please.
|
Onegai:I was not aware I said this here, but yes. Any tribe that does not want to be part of Nigeria should pack their load and go somewhere else please. There is plenty land they can go occupy in the Sahara desert for a nominal fee to those who currently own it. Those who remain will make us stronger because we'd have gotten rid of those tearing us apart. And one day we'd be better than Singapore, and might have done it without Singapore's racial eugenics. |
occfx:I really have little to no time for prophets who make declarations with no supporting evidence. Sorry. |
NewHe:We don't make sacrifice no more. These days we turn our eyes to the heavens and beg the gods for our manna, and the fact we are starving has not yet made us accept that from the sweat of our brow shall we eat. Thankfully, the wages of sin, which is error in thinking, is indeed death, or at least wailing in anguish, and that suffering will eventually make us change our ways. My only hope is that we realise before 2125, or before our population halves due to starvation or a plague. |
Brendaniel:I am not arguing Nigeria's civil war with you. It's been fought, and a side won and a side lost, and here we are, One Nigeria. Igbos are currently renting the old kolanut and cocoa warehouses that my Osogbo people are unindustrial to find uses for. And while I've heard of Made in Aba, I have not yet heard Made in Ibadan. Soon they will marry our women and born lots of Chinedus, then our eyes will be opened and we too might learn to make Made in Aba in Osogbo. |
Brendaniel:Yes I can. The Igbos rose up and fought a war of secession, and Nigeria fought back to retain its territorial integrity, and people were killed in the process. If my Yoruba land is stupîd enough to rise up and fight for the Oduduwa Republic some are clamouring for, more than 3 million of us will be killed for our stupidîty by Nigeria. My hope is someday, we would be intelligent enough to separate peacefully, if we must, though I hope we don't, but that day of intelligence has not arrived yet, and separation now would just create other problems for us.
