Culture › Re: Do You Know Giants Exist In Nigeria? by budaatum: 11:07pm On Mar 17, 2023
Sixty years ago this fall, Bigfoot first stepped into the public consciousness. “Giant footprints puzzle residents,” a headline in the Humboldt Times announced. The small Northern California newspaper reported that a road construction crew had discovered humanlike footprints that were a massive 16 inches long. The paper was the first to give the mysterious animal that made the prints its memorable moniker—“Bigfoot”—and the creature has been stomping through the American imagination ever since.

I'm feeling bullish. Let's buy first bank himself gangan. grin
First Bank's net worth as of March 16, 2023 is $0.22B, which is a mere $220million. That's cheaper than Crystal Palace, so much easily achievable I suppose, though I expect the price to rise once we declare an interest. Let's say $300m, just in case we are outbid.

We will need lawyers and accountants fees too for due diligence and to pad ourselves up as credible bidders, so 400m should do it.

Leyqute, that's a plan, let's do it!

Budaatum.

Make this times 10. That’s more than 310m. We’ll use the change to do repairs at Teslim Balogun. As nice guys wey we be.
That's a great idea. We might even just buy First Bank FC and put Viera in there instead since we are being nice.

Nice idea. Let’s start contributing the money. I’ll be holding it in my account.

Once e reach 200m, we’ll swoop down on Crystal palace for the hostile takeover 😎
Contribute? I'd be long dead before my contributions reach, I confess, unless your contributions are like a million to my one. In which case, let me know when your contributions are complete so I can add my own small contribution to it please.

We'd need about £310m, note.

I know you cannot think Buddha. You’re probably bored and seeking someone to argue with. I’m not interested in such directionless discussion.
You seem to "know" things that are wrong it seems, and just believe the crap you create in your own head. For it is very obvious that buda must think since buda does not mindlessly believe like you do.

That's your choice. Your opinion doesn't sound smart to some people.

There are people whose freedom have been taken from them which is not different from being in jail.

What he is saying is, you have a right to defend yourself to be alive.
If that's not cool with you, that's your choice.

IMO, its stupid to risk your life and be wasted by some lawless thugs when you can neutralize them.
But I am not asking my choice to be your choice!

I'd be risking my life and my freedom if I stupidly go to vote with "bottles, rods, catapults, knives, dogs and licensed guns", because I can very easily defend myself with my brain, which perhaps you might not be able to do, so why should I risk being arrested and jailed for the same stupid things brainless lawless thugs do when I am not a brainless lawless thug?

Exactly.

Palace weren't qualifying in the top 10 consistently before. They had a very good season last season. Viera has what it takes to get them into Europe next season.
They must have thought otherwise, unfortunately. Now, if you and I can raise enough money, we can buy Crystal Palace and reinstate him.

Got any ideas? I'd love us to show them what is possible.

Kikikiki... It's better to be in jail than be late exercising your civic duty.

You have a right to life.
It's better to use my brain to exercise my civic duty than to stupidly lose my freedom so I have no civic duty nor any life worth living.

I love my freedom more than you love yours I guess, and I know how to use my brain.

Proper title for this thread is:

Abandon the use of your brain and follow this silly advice!

But if you disagree, please return after the election to tell us the result of following it if you are not in jail.

I wouldn't have paid the 250k in the first place so as not to encourage him to steal again. By when he finishes enjoying his jail time, he'd likely consider a different career.

And yes, I will take him back to the station before the police come knocking on my door to arrest me too for being an accomplice!

How does this relate to the topic on ground? Does it negate whether a person thinks they’re animals or they’re not?
It kind of negates whether you think a person is an animal or not, don't you think? After all, it's you who thought it, and not the person.

Read my next post after I said this.

His last win was in December. Yes. They haven't won in 12 games, yes. But then they're about to have an easier run of fixtures and with their latest performances, they are bound to pick up many points.

Sacking him at this point in the season isn't the wisest decision. And they did it out of fear - of relegation, which unnecessary.
Fear is a serious motivator to act, unfortunately.

0 wins in 12 games. They drew 5 and lost 7, mostly to teams above them.

Their recent performances indicates that they're on their way back to winning ways. The sack was premature.
I'm not arguing. "Sadly, the elephant in the room means he'd be upheld to higher standards than he achieved".

Same way numerous people claim to "follow the scripture" and have molested a child, I guess. They make crap up and believe it like you do, hoping we'd believe it too.

Moyes, Rodgers and Potter are not zero in 12, I don't think. And Viera's laid-back attitude was bound to get him sacked, I'd think.

Sadly, the elephant in the room means he'd be upheld to higher standards than he achieved.

Funny that it's men becoming women in sports and prisons. You hardly find women becoming men in sports and prisons, or at least I haven't come across any.

Perhaps it should be made possible for white people to self-identify as black too, and for teenagers to identify as pensioners. Whites and teenagers might not transist, but it would create an opportunity for basilico to self-identify as white teenager instead of black.

Me, I'd settle to be able to self-identify as a billionaire, or Musk Gates Bezos, from now on.
