I thought I would also be congratulated today but unfortunately I got a -ve assessment from Vetassess...something obviously must be wrong with my application. Please see below excerpts from Vetassess...the story too long I can't even seem to comprehend it:

U need at least 8 in all, u can request for a remark. Or go for PTE-A

You can definitely get a positive assessment but IOM opinion that MBA result fit cause delay but I will allow the gurus clarify further on that

Pls I need urgent help from all the gurus and ancestors on the following questions:

1. I just got my IELTS result- L8R8S8W7.5. Will this give me 20 points? If no, would you advice I request for a remark of the writing test?

2. I have 10 yrs banking experience 7.4 yrs of which is in my nominated occupation (marketing specialist) under csol list. However, I have a BSc Political Science (2005) . my MBA (marketing) result is not yet completed and may not get d transcript now but I can get a "to whom it may concern" statement indicating I have completed the degree. Pls do I stand any chance of getting a positive assessment cos am about to apply to Vetassess?

Good day sir bellong, OmogeNg and other gurus in the house.
Please I am in the process of assessing my skills with Vetassess but I have a little challenge which I am certain that this beautiful family will help provide a solution to.
I have worked with 2 different employers in the last 10 years and I have been able to successfully get a reference letter from the employer whom I worked abt 8 years for. The other employer who also happened to be my most recent employer has refused to give me a reference letter. Please I will like to know if this will jeopardize my chances of getting a positive assessment. If yes, are there other documents I can submit as a substitute to reference letter? Your candid advice/suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

Kids under 5 years don't do biometrics. They didn't do for mine. They only did for me and spouse.

If you have to go for a lesser programme, give genuine reasons why. All you need to do is present your side of the story and hope for the best. VO's are human.

Purpose of visit - This is actually where the problem lies, you're a fresh graduate, you studied Engineering in your UG level, the sudden deviation to international business is a NO NO for the Vo, if you don't have solid reasons in your SOP for the deviation or work experience in that line.
You really have to work on this and I'll be sincere with you, I really have no idea how you'll do that has you're a fresh grad with no work experience.. But there's nothing a great SOP cannot do.

. We were refused based on just purpose of visit. I intend to re-fire as soon as possible and I need advice on how to tackle this refusal. Here's my profile: I intend going for PGD Project Management at U of winnipeg. I applied for study permit along with visitor's visa for my wife and kids, even though I stated that they were not accompanying me. I have a BSc. in pol science and MBA human resources and currently work in a bank for over 8 years now. Pls what does the VO likely mean by purpose of visit and please advice on how I can tackle this as I intend to re-fire (as e dey hot). grin

Approval mail wasnt coming early as most ppl get it so I got terrified daily.
On Feb 19,2016 at 11.07am: Approval Mail from CIC.
I took special lessons from posts by Seiraries,HayqinsbFX,TheSoj,Tnuola and some other names I cant remember .

MSc Chemical Engineering,Dalhousie Univ.
First Degree was also Chem Engr.

Abeg guys when am I likely to get dispatch mail from VFS?

hi nairalanders, The lord has done it again. I have gotten my passport with visa today. I have been a silent reader but y'all have helped me on this thread. I applied with 5 people accompanying me and they gave all of us visa( my mum, triplets and one other girl to take care of the babies). I taught my application would be rejected cos we had only 9 million naira in my mum and dad's account. I am a 17 year old boy tho. Sponsor re my parents.

Application for winter 2016(paper route)

submission date: DEC 04
medical request: DEC 30
medicals done: JAN 04
medicals sent to CIC: JAN 05
approval mail and pick up: Feb 02

Thanks to God. The lord that did mine will do all applicants on this thread IJN.
