On meeting my husband, we wia on wat u wud call "contract realtionship" dis we agreed wud give us our privacy n all. bt tins didnt work out dt way. we deviated from the so called contract n found ourselves always hanging out togeda n i moved in to live wit him.
During this time, my job required me to leave the state we lived in to anoda state, this poised a huge problem 4 our relationship which was blossoming, during dis time, my previous lovers got tired of trying to win me back.
so , i moved to this new state n we made promises of visiting regulary n calling each other.then one day i made a terrible mistake,

myself n my boyfriend (who is nw my husband) had a misunderstanding, i kept calling him to apologise bt he refused picking my calls, so i took out my laptop so i cud entice him wit a sensual video chat bt he still didnt respond to my invitation, i felt dissappointed and lonely. Out of no wia, two of my past lovers came online n wanted to chat wit me, i cudnt resist the temptation of accepting n we had video chats with me being nude n stuffs,
i neva knew my boyfriend (husband) had my laptops, email accs and BB bugged, from which he knew of wat happened dt nite. he confronted me wit it n i owned up pleading 4 his forgiveness n promised to neva do it again.
bt deep down i knew he wud neva 4get it and i ws hurting with shame disgust at wat i had done.
this lead to series of quarrels , calling me revolting names dt am ashamed to even mention here, all dis i accepted n on several occassions he promised me he wud neva 4give or trust me in his entire life.
this went on for months unend until late last year, wen he told me he has learnt to forgive me n he trusted me again. My heart knew no bounds to the joy dt filled my heart, den he proposed, i felt like i ws d luckliest woman dt eva walked the surface of the earth.
we got married and i had to leave so as to seek a transfer from my office. bt tins are nw getting worse than b4,
one of the guyz i did the nude video chat wit (works wit my company) has bn asked to come work in my current branch. immediately i heard dis, i told my husband and since dt day , he has bn treating me worse dan a rag,
nw we r back to square one, the names, accusations, he nw accuses me of infidelity,
please i dnt knw hw to go abt dis, am in total confusion, i hv known no other man since we got serious with each other, he is promising me of breaking up with me (this is a marriage of 2months ), did i do wrong in telling him everytin i knw n always telling him d truth, i knw i did wrong i accept, bt cn we eva b a normal marriage n couple?

Religion / Re: Video : Bishop David Oyedepo Responds To Slap-gate ! by bulletG(m): 6:03pm On Dec 21, 2011
Wonders would never cease in our dear country but a melodrama bothering on criminality was recently introduced. I have never been befuddled about the Nigerian mess but the dramatic situation presented by the ever savvy, ambitious and suave businessman cum pastor, in the person of Pastor Oyedepo was another sore show.

Our ever vigilant and dynamic online press have remained the conscience of the nation so far, especially in these perilous times when Nigeria badly cries for a human representation of the same quality. The shame that Nigeria has become is ever manifested on daily basis and no arm of the decadent edifice has lived up to the broom in the ethical and conscience stake. Our political class remains our ever abiding albatross whilst our religious leaders actively partake in the growing shame. As someone once said, the name Nigeria has become a shame to behold.

No politician in Nigeria today is worth the salt, which is the sad truth. No political party is out to redeem the situation, which is another truth Nigerians have to learn. If there is any doubt about the latter, a trip to Lagos State where the might of the state is overbearing against the legitimate aspiration of the citizenry in the boiling issue of the Lekki Toll plaza would convince any doubting Thomas. I have the greatest respect for Pastor David Oyedepo. Not as a man of God but as a good specimen of the Nigerian breed. Here is a savvy and suave business man who knows how to exploit what he has to achieve and consecrate what he desires.

Pastor Oyedepo has built a business empire in the name of a religion. He has through good business sense and unparallel sagacity fed the gullible with the much exploited opium to achieve his material success in life. He remains the first Nigerian man of the robe to purchase a private jet. He is also the first to start the business of private universities. He is sleek and very intelligent. His world-wide business has his children manning the most viable branches overseas. Of course, I am referring to his church branches. He has ensured that even when he is no longer on the stage, the family business would remain solidly within the family confinement.

With all the firsts this suave business man has achieved, it was a surprise to watch a video detailing an unknown quality of this so-called man of God. I watched with mouth aghast! Transparency for Nigeria, in its online edition of 18th December 2011, under the headline: Pastor Oyedepo turned violent on the pulpit, showed a video containing very disturbing contents. (Vide above)

I had always felt that some pastors were too intelligent to be caught partaking in the shame of witch hunting. I had always felt that Helen Ukpabio remained the empress in this unholy game. Little did I know that even the so-called intelligent ones actively took part in this shameful debacle. It is now clear that the whole of Christendom in Nigeria is built on fallacies, extortion and hood-winking. The Helen Ukpabio league actually applies to our so-called men of God, the agents of Mormon keeping the people in perpetual bondage and slavery.

The scene was a typical revival or crusade-like environment common amongst Nigerian Pentecostals. Few girls and boys were kneeling down on the stage in front of Pastor Oyedepo surrounded by his army of body guards and lieutenants. The video started with a girl who claimed to have come from Imo State. The video went as follows:

Pastor: You have been there for how long? (Question apparently in reference to membership of witchcraft).

Girl: I am not a witch. I am a witch for Jesus. My own witch is for Jesus.

Pastor: (Dumbfounded) you are what?!

Girl: I am not a witch. I am a witch for Jesus. My own witch is for Jesus.

Pastor: (Shaking with uncontrolled disbelief and anger) You are a foul devil. Do you know whom you are talking to? Foul devil (this was followed by a very hot slap!!)

Pastor (continued): Where are you from?

Girl: I am from Imo State. I am not a witch. I am a witch for Jesus.

Pastor: Jesus has no witches. You are a devil. You are not set for deliverance and you are free to go to hell.

Pastor moved on to another girl:

Pastor: When did you get in?

Girl 2: I am not a witch but I used to dream that I was with them.

Pastor: Every one of you on this front that speaks a lie, you are cut down. Cut down…

Apart from the comical nature of the whole scenario, which in the words of the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, became a “rofo-rofo” argument – “I no be witch, you be witch!” the serious aspect calls for deep introspection. The definitive stance of Nigerian Pentecostalism in ensuring that the congregation admits to a label in order to facilitate the superiority and the power of the clergy calls for a deep review. The serious social implication of being labelled a witch is unimaginable. The stigma is one that pervades every aspect of the victim’s existence, leading to social and economic stigmatization and rejection, deteriorating quality of life, unimaginable vulnerabilities, including the possibility of being killed by a befuddled but outraged society. I was thinking that Pastor David Oyedepo was too suave and sophisticated to be caught in this age-old cheap Christianity stuff, albeit Helen Ukpabio style. Here again, I was proven wrong.

The proprietary or otherwise of ensuring that witches on earth are eliminated for Jesus is beyond me as I am not and has never been a student of theology. Nevertheless, daily knowledge of the Bible and common sense indicates that the whole purpose of Jesus mission on earth was to preach the good news based on love and forgiveness. He did not say based on violence, especially assault. Also, I vividly remember a part of the Holy Bible that states thus: “Judge not, and ye shall not be judged” (Matthew 7:1 and Luke 6:37). What came out of the brief video was a case of criminal assault on the part of Pastor David Oyedepo.

Here was a poor defenceless girl, who was obviously trying to pass a message that was lost in the ambiguities of semantics to a pastor who was either too impatient or too naive to understand what she was trying to say. What she got in return was an unprovoked assault.

The question is must everyone who kneels down in front of a pastor admits to being a witch even if he/she is convinced that she is not? What message was the poor girl trying to pass to the ignorant pastor? Would it have served a better purpose if the pastor had asked the girl for an explanation of what she meant by her unusual statement? Why was the poor girl assaulted by the pastor? Is this case for the Nigerian Police to look into? Every human being has the fundamental right to freedom of religious practice and expression. If it must be stressed very hard here, witchcraft inclusive (if there was ever anything of such). The poor girl from Imo State defiantly stood her ground despite the intimidating presence of Pastor Oyedepo and his unprovoked assault. The story would perhaps have been different if she had admitted to being a witch who meets with colleagues at a defined coven.

Then Pastor Oyedepo would have been happy and the mesmerized congregation would have erupted with abundant shouts of Halleluyah. But the girl from Imo was determined to spoil the show for our garrulous pastor and she got what she did not bargained for, a very hot slap! Even a member of Pastor Oyedepo’s staff was aghast. Please watch the video and see the gentleman’s reaction. His jaw dropped open when the pastor was putting up the show of shame – slapping the poor little girl.

Instances as the type demonstrated by Pastor Oyedepo, would in other climes lead to a very urgent government regulation of the conduct and proceedings of so-called faith revivals or crusades. It would also have led to instant arrest and prosecution of this ignorant pastor. The essence of ensuring that no citizen is harassed or molested in the expression of faith or religious belief would be rigorously pursued and protected. This, unfortunately, is not the case with Nigeria. Nigerian pastors behave as if they are Gods or something very close. They behave as if they are above the law. They show contempt and disrespect to their congregation. The only affection is for the currency that rolls out of the congregation pockets. The Nigerian populace, on its part, has shown an alarming tolerance and unbelievable stupidity in the face of this perfidy. We have continued to clap where we should have frowned at the frivolousness and debased behaviour of the impostors who have mortgaged our collective spirituality.

Pastor David Oyedepo needs to be told in clear terms that he went beyond the confines of civilized behaviour and the etiquettes required of someone occupying his type of office. If there was something he shamelessly committed in that barbaric piece, it was nothing but assault. The poor girl from Imo State deserves an unreserved apology from the powerful and rich Pastor David Oyedepo. Again, I anxiously await the response of the Nigerian community to this video of shame. I await, most especially, the response of our extensive Human Rights community and the legion of non-governmental organisations committed to protecting the rights of Nigerian females. Here is a poor and defenceless girl who was assaulted by a rich and powerful pastor. Her case calls for urgent support to pass home the message of civility even in the conduct of religious programmes. It is either Pastor Oyedepo apologises or is taken to court. There seems to be no other option.

The truth needs to be told that Nigerian Pastors are not Gods. They are mere mortals plainly benefitting from the stupidity of the mesmerized populace. They are charlatans and sycophants who are benefitting immensely from the ignorance of the masses. While we stupidly follow some smart crooks wearing the toga of pastors, the larger world has left us behind, making stupendous progress in the field of science and technology. We boast of the highest number of churches per streets in the world, our social and moral fabrics remain in tatters. Our crime record is monumental while social instability and insecurity remain our abiding bed fellows. The Nigerian socio-political terrace remains a mess, our political leadership tottering from unforgivable indecision to unbelievable corruption whilst promulgation of anti-people policies remains the order of the day. The name Nigerian is not an enamoured piece.

The constitutional role of the Nigeria Police Force comes into play in this debased scenario. A moribund organization mired in endemic corruption and stagnated by lack of efficiency and good will. Naturally, I expected the police to have swung into action unprompted. Video evidences are credible evidences as have been demonstrated in more civilized countries. No doubt, the Nigeria Police do not see anything wrong in the video under discourse. Even if something had been wrong, the personality involved would have created a hindrance. The Nigeria Police Force needs to remove itself from its self-imposed shackles and be more responsive to its responsibilities. A Nigerian citizen has just been assaulted and urgent action is required.

While boiling with indignation on the injustices inherent in this video of shame, once again, from a member of the discredited Nigerian Pentecostal fold, I hasten to add that ultimate justice is in the hands of God, and of course, in that of the Nigerian people. We shall make of our country and of our society whatever we desired it to be. Over to fellow Nigerians!

Travel / Re: Why Do Nigerians Abroad Dont Help Themselves? by bulletG(m): 10:19am On Nov 26, 2011
Going by what i have read so far, i noticed Nigerians in UK are more against helping out!, i think this is a uk thing!, the are sooooo stingy!, generally naija's in abroad dont like to help others, but its worst in UK. i was in london 4 1year but am based on the schengen side of Europe now. Come to Austria, Germany, Swizz, Spain, Holland , Greece or even Sweden, people come in on a daily basis without money, home or even cloths and the are been accommodated and taken care of untill the find there feet. for example, in Austria there are lots of people from Agbo, once someone comes to Austria and you are from Agbo, then u dont have problem, the will take u in immediately and take care of u. like in Greece, we have different Nigerian associations, once a new person comes in, his being taken the association where he is from and these association have houses the pay for , for new comers. the problem with people in uk is that uk still have 9ja mentality, everybody is claiming to be rich, to much competition, jealousy, and no one wants to help because the feel the are better than u and the dont want u to succeed like them.
My final word is this, guys in abroad, if you can afford to help, assist or accommodate a fellow brother, please just do it with an open mind, some will appreciate u while others might not, dont come here to justify urself cos u dont have the good will to help someone, tongue
Travel / Re: Why Do Nigerians Abroad Dont Help Themselves? by bulletG(m): 10:42am On Nov 25, 2011
@SIENA
Mind you, the topic is not WHY DO PPL WE HELP NOT SHOW APPRECIATION!, it is why we dont like helping each other in abroad, it is very rare 4 you to accommodate someone and the person will just sit at home without trying to help out in any way he can, but the problem is dont take advantage simply bcuz ur helping someone, dont kill him or turn him to ur house maid because he is staying with u!, since my 6years here, i have learnt that abroad is not about who came 1st, i have seen some ppl making it in less than 3yrs of being here and this same ppl were once homeless when the came newly! help if u can and dont if u cant! but dont take undue advantage!! cool
Travel / Re: Why Do Nigerians Abroad Dont Help Themselves? by bulletG(m): 10:30am On Nov 25, 2011
@justwise, your turning the point around, i can understand what the op means, generally Nigerians abroad dont help themselves!, i have been in Europe for 6years now and i will say what the guy is saying is true! we dont like helping ourselves!, no one will even give u 5euro without wanting something in return! My point here is if you want to help someone, dont do it bcus you want to take advantage of the person, do it buz u really want to help and dont expect anything in return, you will never know? the same guy u helped might turn out to be the person who will help u tomorrow.
Europe or will i say abroad have always been YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN!
Family / Bridegroom Hangs Self At Isiala Mbano Four Days To Wedding by bulletG(m): 9:52am On Nov 11, 2011
The people of Umuezealaegbe Umuduru in Isiala Mbano LGA of Imo State woke up Tuesday morning 25th October 2011 to a bizarre spectacle of the lifeless body of their 25 years old man, Mr. Adindu Ezeala dangling on a tree branch downhill the stream side.

According to family sources, Adindu’s disappearance from home was noticed a day before, but was not taken seriously since his motorcycle was properly parked in its usual place. But when night came and he did not return, a search party comprising mainly the youth of the village swung into action and combed all nook and crannies of the community and beyond, but he was nowhere to be found all night long. But when the search team returned in the morning to freshen up preparatory to another round of search, a younger brother to the deceased strolled to the back of their compound downhill to ease himself where he saw Adindu’s lifeless body hanging on a tree branch and raised an alarm.

Speaking with the Announcer Express, Mr. Lawrence Ezeala father of the deceased, disclosed that late Adindu worked at laterite sand depot Umuduru, describing him as taciturn and industrious, the grief-stricken father regretted that his late son died when his life was sweetest to him as the family had prepared to accompany him (the deceased) to his prospective in-laws next Thursday, four days before the incident, for the traditional marriage rites of his fiancée at Lokpa in Abia State.
He further spoke of how the late Adindu had, before embarking on the self-sent journey to eternity, left on a table in his room the sum of one hundred thousand naira ear-marked for the fiancées dowry; His motorcycle keys and bank note were there on the table too.

The absence of a suicide note, however, provided an avenue for wide speculations as to the reason for the seeming suicide. While some people suspect that he might have tested positive to the dreaded HIV as he might have been asked by his in-laws to prevent a HIV-clean bill as part of the requirements for the marriage rite; others hold the opinion that it was the spiritual manipulation of evil people as could be inferred from the proverbial exclamation of an elderly kinsman who said, “when a young man gathers more firewood than his mates, he is often accused of picking them from the evil forest” for others suicide should be ruled out as the deceased had things going in his favour and never knew frustration.

However, a team of policemen from Isiala Mbano Divisional Headquarters inspected the hanging dead body shortly before it burial in accordance with appropriate tradition of the land.

Well to ans your question, it depends, , b4 diz doc is usually ready after 90days, ie 3months, but after d greek Govt Election n austerity measures imposed by d new prime minister papandrou, greek citizens went on a massive strike, and diz strike affected a lot of things, and also during diz strike a lot of workers were laid off, especially doz working in d demos and perifelia where diz doc is being processed and bcuz of that one can wait as long as 9months t0 1 year b4 ur doc will b ready!! so tell ur friend either to be patient and wait or go to his wife's embassy and collect visa n travel to his wife's country n file 4 his paper there, 2ndly, i hope ur friend have not had any criminal record with d greek govt, cuz if d check his record and find any kind of criminal record on his file, he can wait 4 his paper as long as 3 to 4 yrs, dat is if it will even b released!, well i wish him all d best!

@VICJUSTICE, guy, What u said abt d vevosi is right , but  where u got it wrong is dat greek Govt issues diz vevosi on two conditions, 1, for doz registering or renewing for greek residence permit (diz type is usually gotten when greek Govt legalizes immigrants)  and for doz who are married and are waiting for there marriage greek 5yrs residence permit,  the type of vevosi am talking abt is d one issued based on marriage, , once you are married in greece, after submitting ur docs at d demos, u will b issued wot d called yellow vevosi and with dat yellow vevosi, u can now go the police and kill ur pink card, diz card is an asylum doc dat is used by immigrants, once your pink card is killed, then u will go back to demos n collect your BLUE VEVOSI,

NOW my point is, once u have a blue vevosi dat is issued to u based on marriage, it is ur right to use it to collect visa and go to the country of ur wife, , all d embassies accepts diz vevosi to issue u a visa to go n vist ur wife in her country, so far ur wife will give u all d necessary doc needed 4 d visa, i have seen cases of my friends who married ladies from POLAND, BULGARIA, HUNGARIA, SWEDEN, DENMARK,ETC all travelled out of greece with a visa issued based on diz blue vevosi,
well 4 d record, am currently in greece now n i can tell u 1st hand how d system works at diz moment

@eghost247 , yes he can use it 2 apply 4 visa and then go to his wife's country n file 4 his residence permit there, all he has to do is send his original greek marriage cert with apostile on it , data page of his passport, and a copy of his vevosi to his wife 2 register d marriage in her country, after then d wife will send him an invitation letter and an original marriage cert frm her country n some other little doc n he will get the visa, feel free 2 ask any more questions,
