Anyone with better sense would know that it's that time of the year again that hunger pushes out these bastards to start scamming people of their hard earned money.
First thing after I got that msg I looked the number up on Truecaller and it revealed 'Alhakim', on Whatsapp he registered as 'Delilah Lucia' while the idiot introduced himself as 'Ms. Mphela Abiola', I just laughed and I did the next sensible thing, I blocked his sorry ass and still reported him to Whatsapp make God for punish him well well.

What was portrayed in Gangs of Lagos was the real thing that happened during the last Eyo festival in Lagos the last time i witnessed it, I wasn't a kid then so everything I saw was as clear as a glass.
I witnessed bloodbath that day, the participants used that occasion to settle whatever differences they must have had in the past and I guess that was the last time it was celebrated on the island.
