Am I the only one that runs high fever if I skip bathing for 1 day? This has been going on for 5 years now. If for any reason I don't bath throughout the day and go to bed, I start running fever from my sleep.
Does anyone else experience this?

When the result was published on newspaper, I failed and it was painful, I studied hard and I knew what I wrote in the examination hall! When I when back to re-sit the exam, they asked me why am I re-sitting an exam I passed in flying colors, it still pains me that I have paid already for the re-sit, before I was told I passed |

Well nothing weird, but these times stood out for me.
1). My son between his JS3-SS3 a lot of ladies were seriously disturbing him, I knew it was a matter of time before he will succumb. I told him, it was time for us to shop for his size in condom (I don't know the heck I was doing - but I wanted to protect him as much I could). Now we laugh about it.
2). One midnight I saw one of my acquaintance around my estate, looking for where he could buy groundnut, he said he wouldn't be able to sleep that night if he did not eat groundnut, it was weird to me, but as a good guy and because my estate hardly sleep, I foolishly took him around shops looking for where he could buy groundnut, but no lucky.
Couple of days later he died of overdose in a hotel room, where he was having fun with 2 hookers. That day I found out groundnut is a code for drugs.
3). The day I stopped buying foodstuff when I travel out of state. I travelled out of state, on my way back, I bought bag of garri, keg of palm oil, oranges, plantain and everything that would make my then fiancée and her family happy. I forgot taxi, keke nor bike run in her estate and their house is far from the gate and I was not wearing belt that day. When the bus stopped me by their estate gate, it was a struggle to carry the bag of garri on my head, the bunch of plantain, oil and other bags in one arm and still pulling up my falling trousers from my waist with the other hand and my phone was dead, I couldn't call them for help. In my struggle I looked like a mad man, till a friend of mine saw me, pulled up and gave me a lift, since that day, I don't buy food stuff when I travel out of state. I send the money for them to buy whatever they want. |

Lagos traffic is very stressful! Traffic after Cross-Over Service from Lekki to Sangotedo was hell! Some of us spent 4 hours on the same road, from 2am - 6am. 3 of my cousins have relocated from Lagos to Calabar and Ebonyi state, because of traffic. Angelfrost: You are right... I was actually referring to most parts of Lagos.
The part you mentioned is a very small exception, and let's be honest... That's not somewhere average workaday individuals stay.
You even made me laugh when you talked about 2 hours drive! 2 hours?!! And that's your definition of "non stressful"?!! What about those who don't have the luxury of cars?!!
Spending an hour just to get to work in most parts of Nigeria is the perfect definition of STRESS!
Of course, safety would be better due to more security availability compared to less populated cities... I never disputed this.
Well, I understand your defensiveness chief... But let's not nitpick over details.
Fact remains that Lagos is a Metropolis...! Due to no fault of it, chaotic living is normalised.
Everything I wrote about Lagos is true. The amount of stress one endures there in just a month, you won't experience within a year in most cities in Nigeria and Africa. |

I lived in Lekki for 9 years and in Sangotedo Ajah for 7 years now. Both are in Lagos, 30 minutes drive on Sunday morning. 2 hours drive Monday - Friday after 5am. In Lekki I am not afraid to come back or go out at any time, Lekki has 24 hours life. Some shops are open, people are moving around 24/7. In Sangotedo Ajah Farmvill & Canaan Estates. Shops and Schools open from 8:30am and close by 10pm. You hardly see people, on the street after 10pm. So, not every part of Lagos is fast paced. Angelfrost: In summary...!
Life is on a faster lane in Lagos than practically anywhere else in the country.
If you have lived and worked in the heart of Lagos, then relocate to Abuja, Imo, Delta, Kano, etc, you will be shocked at how even your heart rate slows down... A huge burden is practically lifted off your shoulders.
Even your aging process slows down remarkably.
Many Lagosians don't realize it, but they aren't truly LIVING... Just existing! Some have never breathed clean air in years. |

Which kind of advice is this? You want him to mix business with pleasure? Oga take this advice to your peril! Oga you will not go far in business and in life, if you collect every gift and kpeus presented to you. Be wise! Jaycobbs:

I dunno how old you are but apparently, you're a young guy who's hustling to make money.
See free money! Lol. The girl likes you, obviously. But try not to get excited. Based on your hustle, it seems like to me looking to build a nest egg, like most young men in Tinubu's economy. Good plan, good vision.
You're not focused on finding a mate (I think) but it doesn't mean if a good one comes along, you'll ignore her.
As for the lady, the money is good, but gifts blind the eyes. It takes more than spending to build a good relationship (I assume a good relationship is what you want). Watch out for other things, based on what you expect from your ideal woman — character, personality, and yes, looks.
If it's not relationship you're not looking for, then by all means, avail yourself of the free knacks being presented to you on a platter.
If she gets admission, this your play-play love will end, so you can see this either as a golden opportunity or waste of effort. It depends on your perspective.
✌️
Goodluck. |

I was driving back home by 7pm when I got a text from her that she has moved out of my house! When I got to the house, I found out she has carried every thing that was hers and all of our wedding gifts (Her family and friend told her, her stars and our wedding gifts bring me good fortunes, the days she left with them, I will be a very poor man).
I wasn't poor neither was I wealthy when she left, but I refused to be manipulated by her, her elder sister and her friends.
Because I got a car and moved into a better apartment after wedding, they believed she was the source of my good fortune, so every market day, she will be threatening me that if I don't do what she wants, she will take her "good lucks and wedding gifts" else where.
Finally she carried out her threat, thinking I will run begging her for forgiveness, then she will direct me to her sisters, aunty and her friends and they will now give a strict instruction on how to marry her in my house.
Her brothers always called me, to tell me their sisters evil plans. And I kept telling her the day she will leave our house, she will never come back.
Last week for the 1st time since 4 years she left, I saw where she does POS business on a dusty road, a woman I rented a shop for, her family told her not to collect, because I will be controlling her because of the business. And that day, she said she will not follow to see the shop because according to her "I am dirty" if I don't bath, change my clothes, barb my hairs, she's not going any where with me.
Funny thing now is that all those friends are now married and they all live far way from she stays, her sisters and aunty are no longer in Lagos, they have a left her to her fate. She's now dating a "Fvck boy" that blenches and rub pink lips. Anytime we meet in Church you can see the pain in her eyes, but her proud is holding her back and the fact I made it known that I am no longer interested, because she called a couple of times to apologized, but I was not and still not interested. She just turned 40 this year. No husband, no children, no business, no home of her own |

What a sad stories! Tallesty1: Two things that happened recently in Bayelsa:
Man A wanted to relocate back to Nsukka, so he started selling his properties and belongings. Meanwhile, his wife was busy planning to “Japa” and he had no idea. Only his first son, who was her favorite, knew about her plans.
The woman took all the money and fled. People thought she was missing, and her family in Nsukka was already giving the man a hard time, say make he find their daughter for them. Months later, when the son she promised to bring over finally reached her by phone, she told him to “face his life” and stopped contacting him. The son then opened up to his dad about what had happened and later committed suicide.
Man B had a wife who was sleeping around like a rabbit. The mumu wouldn’t divorce her. Las las the wife hired people to kill him and kill him they did, they attacked him brutally. The news even made the papers. When the police called the wife to identify her husband she looked at what was left of him and casually said, “Yes, that’s him.” No tears, no emotion. The next thing she asked for was the key to his shop.
A policeman got angry and arrested her as suspect in the man's death, this triggered triggered an investigation. The deeper they went, the worse the story became. Soon, the Igbo chairman was invited by the police and told that some big people wanted the case dropped; and it was.
End of story for the man.
Women kill men all the time, but no one talks about it enough. Read Purple Hibiscus and see other ways they do it and go unpunished. Nigerians rarely bother with autopsies.
As a man, you’ve got to look out for yourself because no one else will. Don't wait until you're sick before you get a proper medical check-up. When they diagnose you with any illness or warn you of something likely to happen, ask the doctor what could have caused it, because some of these people will kill you slowly and then blame it on the life you led as a young man or the alcohol you drank.
We have a case at hand as I type this and he is alive today because someone suggested he stopped eating the wife's food. |
