Please, don't load your baby with drugs. My baby is very chubby and we EBF. Lol @ paracetamol 3x daily for no reason. I used no colic med for my baby and he's fine and sleeps well.

ebf babies grow fat o. My baby was EBF and today the doctor said she has the weight of a one year old and asked us to go weigh her again just to be sure . She gained weight very rapidly when I started EBF. Just keep the drugs in one corner as you may or may not be needing it. Just continue with EBF as log as your baby is feeding well if that's what you want to do.

Burntcoal give her the multivitamin and disregard the rest just to pacify MIL. keep the paracetamol for immunization days. That's when you'll need it. If MIL isn't there don't bother giving her any meds so far she's feeding well with no health issues

When this happened with my baby, she developed actual cartarrh a few days later so you may need to be proactive and give him Vit C

Go over to the newborn thread, you have expired here . About the question. I think it's normal. She's just 6 weeks old and her airways are still not clear. She probably breathes more excitedly when she's breastfeeding that's what makes it so obvious. At night make sure she stays warm cuz the breathing sounds worse when they are cold. It's nothing to worry about, all newborns breathe like that.

Breastmilk is the perfect food for babies, as their digestive systems develop, it is completely utilized hence no waste in the form of poo. Your baby not pooing everyday is fine

As for feverish feeling please don't self medicate. See a doctor to prescribe what you can take cos you're breastfeeding.

alryt ma, then stop the hot water and robbing of her anus cuz nothing is wrong with your lo. my ds then could go 2weeks before pooing while I poo everyday o. now he stays abt 6-7 days before he poos.

Are you on EBF, if yes this procedures aren't worth it as it's very normal for babies on ebf to go days even as far as 2weeks without poo. It helps them gain weight so please stop the anus robbing/hot water.

fart is totally normal, don't give any herbs biko no Jedi Jedi.

2. Check 2 pages back, children have a preferred way of burping and you'll gradually figure it out. Most people burp by placing the child on their shoulder but my LO never burped like that. Leaning him forward while seated worked like magic

3. Poo is normal, it will reduce gradually as her digestive system develops
