Queengee: All Nigerians are too avaricious, grabby and greedy, the level of covetousness of Nigerian people can be very disgusting to say the least. I know lots of us here we tend to blame the Policemen but we equally do the same in our various field, ranging from churches, mosque, banks, hotel, restaurant, market etc. we priorities money more than our services to mankind That's a feature of Capitalism, to prioritise profit/money over humanity. If we're talking about grabby and covetousness, the Europeans still come first. They industrialised covetousness. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Sheffield United Vs Liverpool (0 - 2) On 6th December 2023 by BurntDodo: 7:32pm On Dec 06, 2023 |
If Sheffield know how to exploit the two 6 spaces between Konate and Szobozlai or VVD and Gravenberch, those spaces beside Mac Allister that he's too slow to cover, just like Fulham did last week and Chelsea have been doing since 2019 using inverted wingers, then Sheffield can guarantee themselves 2 goals. When opp carry the ball from the sideline to centre in that space during a counter, Liverpool centre backs are usually hesitant to do anything because the striker is probably also making a run at the same time. We suffer this thing for Sterling and Foden hand tire. Players that carry ball into pockets of space kill Liverpool.
But Klopp shows that he's levels below Pep sometimes when even he doesn't identify his weaknesses. Because of that 6 space, it's imperative that Liverpool invests in the best of DMs in the world who can show up defensively consistently to close up the space and also play out the back. Someone like Rodri. |
Politics › Re: Cost Of Living In Nigeria Is Cheaper Than UK Or US by BurntDodo: 7:27pm On Dec 04, 2023 |
psalmsjob: I'm posting this as a response to the topic that made Nairaland front page yesterday; "See What Someone Bought With An Hour Minimum Wage In The UK £10", the link: https://www.nairaland.com/7929193/see-what-someone-bought-hour
UK & US ARE OVER-RATED NIGERIA IS STILL BETTER in terms of cost of living see a practical example why doing a price comparison: 1 pound to 1 naira today is N1,001 so are you saying with £10 x N1,001 = N10,001 you cannot buy everything in that basket and collect change in Nigeria today?
1 Sliced Bread = N800 2 Spaghetti = N1400 1 Gesha = N600 1 live chicken = N3,000 1 75cl soya Oil = N1,400 1 Midium size Butter = N600 2 Gino Tomato paste = N1,000
Total = N8,800 so your change is N1,200 that's if you exchange pound to naira at offical rate and buying at the most expensive stores or high brands. If you exchange at black market rate and buy at public market "days" you will collect as much as N6,000 after buying everything in that basket....that's about £6 left.
LET'S JUST THANK GOD FOR WHAT WE HAVE AND STOP LOOKING AT AND GLORIFYING ANOTHER MAN'S LAND MORE THAN OUR OWN....OUR OWN NA OUR OWN O Uh oh someone wasn't paying attention during economics class in secondary school |

You live in a capitalist country/system where profit comes before everything, including humanity. The best way to make profit from the man is after his death, right now he's not valuable. And we allow it so why you acting surprised? Whereas in a socialist economy, humanity comes before profit. In fact it's the duty of the government to provide jobs for the citizens or pay them wages where there are no jobs. |

So we’re plenty 😂😂 I'm 26 too and I sound like a 12 year old boy. The worst part is I have the body of a 35 year old. 6'3, bloodshot eyes and bearded. I get respect before speaking and then disrespected after I speak. Happens every time. I get spoken over, I get awkward silences after I speak in the group of people, I can’t even convince anybody anymore. What’s painful is as a kid I used to have so much confidence because I was outspoken and all kids sounded funny so I fitted in. Now I don’t even shout. Although, early in the morning, my voice is usually as deep as a lion's. I lose it by 11am like Ariel from The Little Mermaid lol. |

Playing 4 attackers especially when they’re playing very flexibly could mean a lot of loose passes and we’ve seen plenty from Liverpool but trust TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD to calm the waters and read the attack. Although his defensive game still wobbles. He's the sole reason the attack is actually attacking.
Props to Gakpo too, he’s been everywhere and always making the right decisions. Very versatile player.
Jota seriously disturbing Brentford. His goal is loading.

CoronaVirusPro: How do people commit suicide? What do they think about?
In my down times, the moment I think of cat-fish pepper-soup, Egusi with stock-fish, Isi-ewu and Ofe Nsala, I always have more reasons to be on Earth!
Mere knowing that their is no beer and peppered meat afterlife, is enough reason to make you want to stay on Earth. There are some special type of people that are very driven, people that have very high ceiling and when Nigeria is unable to help them achieve their goals, no amount of stock fish can satisfy them. You know they're driven because it takes a lot to commit suicide actually. Perhaps you're not one of these type of special, very driven people, you're lucky lol |

The Kenyan first lady's office budget is a whooping N4 Billion and this was back in 2019 so just imagine the budget today.

Ade1177: Plan heist? You don't plan anything
Everything in the game is already planned You have no real input
It's like watching a movie and you are asked to press □ ○ x
Sometimes you want to run You are forced to walk The dialogue is always too long I even tried being a baddass and start shooting police Under 1minute Police don catch you and shoot you down with extreme and precise gunshot to the mfking head
You can't go outside the script Unlike GTA
I only enjoyed the "beautiful graphics especially in the city"
It's not my type of game Too many talk talk
My top baddass games that actually allows a player to play the game and not just watch a movie
1. Ghost of tsutushima 2. Devil may cry definitive edition 3. GTA v 4. Mortal Kombat 5. Sleeping dogs 6. Spiderman 7. Spiderman Miles Morales 8. Uncharted 1 to 5 ( you can approach each battle in a different way with different weapons) 9. Call of duty Franchise 10. God of war 3 11. Evil west 12. The order 1866 13. Assassin's creed origins 14. Last of us 1 15. Last of us 2 16. Far cry 3 17. Tomb raider definitive edition 18. God of war 2018 19. God of war Ragnarock 20. Rdr 2
That's my Top 20 according to how I enjoyed them "combat" wise
These are games I finished to the last cutscene These are pretty good games. Fair enough. If combat wise, why COD and not Battlefield though? COD is the classic “already planned no input”game |

It's a long Season film and not a game Graphics are good The action and actual gaming is average Even the story is not that great Just a bunch of thieves loyal to one moustache guy
There are more than 20 games I have played that are far better With actual baddass gameplay that makes you want to replay And better story Woah! Who doesn’t love to plan heists, ride horses and shoot shotguns with beautiful sunsets in the back? Maybe the game is just not your style. I’m a huge fan of the Wild West. Ever since I lost both my Lenovo Legion Y540(it just went off one day and wouldn't come back on), and my Xiaomi, I've been living like a church rat, playing Sega emulator Michael Jackson, Flintstones, Contra on one kwekwe tecno phone.
I miss Far Cry, Watchdogs, Sleeping Dogs, Horizon Zero Dawn, Forza, God Of War, RDR, Mafia, games with storytelling that you look forward to the next scene badly. I even miss my Euro Truck Simulator, just driving around after a bad day.
