For othrs Hnd is not so bad .it just tk self development n focus and skill to stand.

I got an admission in conestoga college for PGD in construction management. It's 2 years programme. Total for year is CAD $ 14,001. If pay CAD $ 7,275 first term tuition fee I will have CAD $ 11,000 left in my account. I want advice if I should go ahead and pay the tuition fee and apply for visa. I trying to get sop from my company for CAD $ 7,500. My start date is January 9th 2017

Please do bro.it is better.are you applying online or paper route. Its best to throw in your app asap. Time is fast running. Cic claim 16weeks me dey assume 12weeks though i av upfront medical. I dont understand Sop from your coy.

My two days unrest on payment of tuition fee to Conestoga,seriously I couldn't concentrate in office after I have paid tuition fee last expecting them to upload the receipt on my student portal,but it wasn't.I have to start send mails upon reminder,while calling all phone numbers with different extension,it was hell and in fact if not for someone closer to me that paid on my behalf I would have suspected foul play....for complete two days I felt like someone expecting TRV,they eventually did respond and they ask me to give them time to investigate when the stipulated time to pay for tuition fee only remain some hours,I kept calling,sending mails,reminding them about my case and to be sincere I felt like pulling out if eventually they discovered that I have paid.....but my uncle keep telling me to hold on.,in fact on checking my student portal they removed my admission letter.

Exactly 9pm Nigeria time,I received two mails from them asking me to visit my portal that they have uploaded my confirmation of payment and admission letter without apology for inconveniency,whereas my uncle is there in Canada to battle with them and he concluded that Canadian citizens are lazy and I concurred and this is showing in Cic as well in reviewing application.......Not their fault if naija country better,rosy for us things won't be like this and this forex of a thing is really affecting applications submitted,the more naira fall the more harder it becomes...My prayer is for God to give us good leaders and make we hustling for survival to achieve our aim.

please once you start applying to all these schools try to be on their neck,besides have plan B .

I went through same bro wen i requested for deferment and to revalidate the date stated on the acceptance na soso mail i send tire till it was uploaded. Thr mata na patience.

Sorry about your denial. "Purpose of visit" is the primary thing you need to worry about; basically the VO is not convinced about your intentions to study in Canada.
For starters, I'd suggest you read these three posts.
1. Tackle common reasons for TRV denial
2. How to write an SOP for the VO
3. TRV for PGC/PGD vs masters

Please read these three posts in detail and then you may ask subsequent questions if you need further brainstorming.

Sure they do. I was asked to pay some part to convert my conditional admission to official admission. I jst prefer my other option to these schl.

conestoga accept part payment. u can as well check your acceptance letter stated you can deposit cad1500 or thereabout. I did my payment in two installment. cheers

Just got off the phone with First Bank and GTBank and they confirmed I can specify my own rate and they'll bid for me.

First Bank rate is 0.125% of the interest as custody fee.
GTBank is the above plus an additional transaction fee (I think N500 or so)

if it's for an msc app I would suggest September ending or beginning of october. VO has much less app to deal with then.

Purpose, home tie, personal fund,trv history...dey sha put wetin dem like. V.O treated my app in a rush I can see there lapses on the gcms.
y wud they say I choose "any designated institution " under program of study wey b say it was bolded stated on CIC form. am sure they concluded because of it. anyhw have accepted my faith.

Having been delay in May, now I have all document ready to refire for January entry. cant just say the best time to do the submission. I keep reminiscing my 15k dols in the college acct. anyhow I want to hold on to faith for the PGD program. Pls house when is the right time I can let the app. go considering the hurdle from the canny V.O. Thank you

I can hardly speak on FAMILY TIES AND TRAVEL..many reasons are always accompanied by family ties/travel history.. U may be overwhelmed that when u see your GCMS note file it could be speaking only towards personal assets.. Moreover "purpose of visit" comes with many factors. If your program align with ur work/UG dont worry abt it rather a well drafted SOP on why that you intended to study is ok. Atimes insufficient funds,not putting a personal assets docs as it applies to a case,program inconsistency even academic gaps, lead to "purpose of visit"too..my best advice is seek for ur GCMS cos e fit be say e get wetin the VO see with hm Torchlight eye for ur application cos atimes we make mistakes without knowing.moreover i saw u added introductory letter from ur employer but I DIDN'T SEE UR EMPLOYMENT LETTER..i have seen a case where VO ticked personal assets and financial status for someone and when she requested for her GCMS the VO was questioning the absence of employment letter.

This calculation is a problem to many.
Look at this, somebody did a job in A firm and realized 1.2million. he added 5% vat which is 60000 so his total figure was 1260000. The money was paid in full and government took their 5% which is 63000 and not the 60000 he calculated earlier. YOU CAN NOW SEE THAT HIS 5% IS WRONGLY CALCULATED.

Now if I have 502000 and wish to involve all the money in TB at 17% (may be for 364days) what figure should I get? Very simple
1. subtract that rate from 100 = 83
2. divide that your money by this figure and multiply by 100. = (502000/83)*100 =604819

3. Now if I have 502000 to invest, I can confidently fill in 604819. now 17% of 604819 is 102819.
4. then 604819-102819 = 502000. which is the amount they need to withdraw from my account.
5. funny enough if u do this, you will have to pay for service charge over the counter. hahaha sometimes mathematics even though it's true, it is far from reality.
6. One good question to ask Is WHAT IS THE GAIN?

If I used 502000, I will have 85340 which is my 17% dormant on my account.

but when I used 604819, I will have 0 on my account but after maturity I will get 102819 extra instead of 85340.
