At the office of the national identity management commission,all officers including Junior and Senior are revenue agents for the issuance of temporary national identity card. Their terms includes 1. I.E.....internal error.(this is the first gimmick you will receive on returning to the NIMC after two weeks to obtaining ones temporary card. 2. C.N.W....come next week 3. C.N.M....come next month 4. C.O.F....come on Friday. This are the terms used in frustrating citizens of Nigeria. The officers charge between#1000-#3500, depending on how fast and early you will be needing your temporary ID which ordinarily is issued after two weeks. Here in Port Harcourt Rivers State,the NATIONAL IDENTITY MANAGEMENT COMMISSION (NIMC) is something else. Is it the same in your state ? |
