It makes your beard shiny and neat, other brothers say it makes their beards soft but I personally have a stubborn kind of hair all over my body, it is a "takoko-ing" things grin I.e tangling kind of hair which makes curly pattern that can't be scattered, so in my case it doesn't make my beard soft.
I do have that kind of hair too embarassed

Note: I'm not saying the husband can't feed, bath and cloth the baby. This act promotes love in the Union BUT it is the wife's duty..... We shouldn't Westernize everything that comes in our way please cool

That's why he needs to learn how to do it before taking up the responsibility. No woman was born with such Knowledge, we all had to learn it too. I don't see why men shouldn't as well.

Nigerian men think it's beneath them to attend antenatal with their wives or reserch on how to take care of babies. Meanwhile these are things every father should know ordinarily.

Take this man for instance, he only started learning how to bathe, feed, cloth, etc the baby when his wife'said maternity leave was due. But he had 9 months of pregnancy to research and 3months of maternity to practice. Yet he chose not to until the last minute. Now he's doing things wrongly and if something happens to the baby, people will blame the wife for passing her 'responsibility' to the man. undecided

Come to think of it, isn't the woman working to support the family too? Why should she then have to bear the responsibility of childcare alone?

It just doesn't sound fair!
The husband can only assist but not taking the sole responsibility of child caring entirely. Likewise the wife too, it's not her duty to assist the hubby financial. It is her money, she can assist her hubby financially (which is commendable) but it's not her responsibility to do so. Just like nobody can say it's the wife duty to provide for the family financially. Child upbringing is not about just showering the baby with money but the motherly care. The husband and the wife have different role to play entirely. We were even taught this in Social Studies back in those days tongue wink

looking after the child is not only the wife responsibility.
The responsibilities are done in different ways. Not to the point of the father taking his infant child to his place of work when the child needed the mother most. Just like it is in the picture, a mother can't feed her daughter in such posture. They both have the child, it is their responsibilities but the responsibilities would be carried out in different ways...

The Op just generalised everything.. There are different kinds of Alfa... Even the scholars among ahlus sunnah (in Nigeria) here also referred to as Alfa. What the op typed up there is a typical Jalabi Alfa. You shouldn't have generalised cool

Surah Al-Mujadila, Verse 7:

Have you not seen that Allah knows whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth? There is no Najwa (secret counsel) of three, but He is their fourth (with His Knowledge, while He Himself is over the Throne, over the seventh heaven), nor of five but He is their sixth (with His Knowledge), not of less than that or more, but He is with them (with His Knowledge) wheresoever they may be; and afterwards on the Day of Resurrection, He will inform them of what they did. Verily, Allah is the All-Knower of everything.
Note: this verse does not depicts that Allah is everywhere but He is with them with His knowledge. He knows everything.
Some people use this verse to say that Allah is everywhere. Allah is not everywhere but on His throne. He is with the slaves with His knowledge.. May Allah grant us guidance

aameen. Indeed they are tests. She has not even started using khimar and all these is happening. He threatens to curse her if she dares use a full hijab. Allahu musta'an
Situations like this are usually tougher for sisters than brothers

IslamRe: Parents and potential parents, jump In. by busar(m): 8:22am On Jul 29, 2016
A sister is currently going through this. Her father hates her because she decided to start using the hijab, he even told her to count herself out his children he has.. And she's really going through tough time now. May Allah assist her..
This do actually happens to most children that depends on their parents for living because the parents knew he/she can't do without their assistance. A brother told me that a parent once threatens his child (in the university) that she would stop paying his school fees if he continue with his Nisfu sak.
One of the solution i can proffer is that children should always exhibit good character, morals and attitudes at home and towards their parents.
