Grupo: While I agree that the driver should have known his limit, I think the guy that brought the issue here is just being unnecessarily petty, and trying to make a mountain out of an ant hill. You nailed it. The melo-drama is totally uncalled for. |

Dovehorizon: Read my quote and this time do it slowly and apply common sense. How is it my cup of tea if you are pissed at me, ohhhh I guess, u hold me in high esteem, well I am sorry to burst your bubble, what said is the truth.
There is something called professionalism and ask Romeo, I have bin following his diary on facebook and on NL, he does not not speak to riders except if spoken to, if your rider speaks to you then answer with a bit of professionalism, I believe you are amongst those who prefer to follow the crowd without thinking of creating a niche for yourself. So let's say you walk into a bank to pick up your cheque book and the customer service starts by saying ..," Sir am having a bad day my husband slapped me this morning bla bla bla" eventually you pick your cheque book and leave. You will now come to NL and cry or write a petition to the bank MD and start whining..... " Miss Gloria at bank xyx, you were talking plenty........." Stop being stupid bro. What's wrong with u? Life is ball. Its rolling with things left right and center. Why you making an issue. Move on bro. Haba |

paroh137: Are you serious right now? Do you how annoying it is being roped into a conversation you have no interest in? Upon the money you're paying for silence! It's a general rule: Do not start any nonsense conversation unless your rider initiates it/shows sufficient interest. I would rate him negative if that were possible sef. I know the rule lad, stop being petty and picky. If he decides to talk and you keep mute throughout, then fine. Drop off and go your way. Rate him whatever. He wasn't rude to you. But coming on NL to whine about your girl and a driver really sucks. We don't care. Stop giving yourselves stupid attentions. |

Dovehorizon: A driver by name Ifeanyi picked my girl from Abraham Adesanya to The Palms lekki, you were talking about girls, married men and how you met your wife , I told her to rate you 5star not because she enjoyed the ride but because I know what it feels like to rated low. Try to understand your rider before starting a conversation. Did he get her to her destination? Yes Was he rude to her? No Was there any disservice? No Must you really rate a driver if there wasn't any major issues? If she had rated him low, what reason would she have indicated?.....Driver was talking too much. Cant she just get to you and you continue your date? Should you type all the trash above? So he talked about stuff she probably was not interested in.......how does that translate to a low rating? Seriously bro. I am really pissed with people like you. |

EphraimBoat: I just started this Uber thing and I have not been able to make more than 6-8k in a day, what's wrong?
Normally before 7 am, I might have done up to two trips that's from surulere to ikoyi, ikoyi to lekki and then lekki to ikeja. When I get to alausa ikeja, I stay at icm till I get a request, note that this is around 9-11am. At times, I do fall asleep till I get a request and then I do two more rides for the day. And that's my daily routine. I move between ikoyi, mushin, ikeja.
Please I really need help on best locations to be. All I just do is to fuel my car and have like 3k left. You people doing 20k a day show me the way abeg. I had to invest some amount of money to start this Uber thing everybody is talking about Hey Bro, in every business positioning and timing is key...understanding how Lagos moves is very important to us as e-hailing drivers/partners. What time do people leave for work to where will make more money? Where do people move around BTW 9-12pm? What time do the leave work? How do you target long trips? How do you monitor and make the best use of surge times? What platform should you drive(uber or taxify) and at what times? |

arikuobi: Uber rides in Accra Ghana.
Accra is the capital city of Ghana, with the buzzing and hustling of the city littered with foreigners and expatriates that are familiar with the uber concept of transportation.
This has made the conventional transport system a bit obsolete.
Uber is the new taxi. In fact its the most preferable mode of transportation in Accra.
Talk about safety, comfort, cheap. Its a full package. And I want investors from Nigeria to come invest in Ghana.
An amazing opportunity lurks out here.
Whatsapp: +233542602332 Can you please be specific with details of cost of investment and ROI? Or maybe I'll chat you up?. Thanks |

entparrot: How do you intend getting the security deposit x3, by removing the brand new tires and replacing it with dead tires? or steal something from the car? Dont worry the police are always available to make arrest, when you commit crime.
The only solution from drivers fraud, is the security deposit, there is no amount of relationship u build with a bad driver, his intention will always be to cheat you.
I know for sure you will inspect any car given to you, and Im sure you wont hand over any money, when you see a faulty vehicle.
For ur information, I have over 9 drivers that have been to my office, with their security deposits, looking for cars to drive, plenty of drivers are looking for cars, unfortunately, no enough cars to give all. You see this bad driver issue will get some drivers jailed...Legally or Illegally. I don't have a problem if something unexpected happens, but when a driver sets out intentionally to defraud a partner. Then poo should happen to him. We are not playing here! |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by BusterG: 10:24am On Jan 11, 2018 |
dru23: Very good idea. I think we owners should incorporate that idea from now on. Owners do your part and make sure the cars you give out his in perfect state. And drivers too, before your collect a car ,make sure the car his in good state. I feel collecting security deposit should be the future . I wish Ogunvic41 and Romeo3 should encourage these idea. If a driver sees a good car . And he wants to work. He will look for ways to come up with the money. After all if a pastor tells them to come and sow seed that their life will be blessed with riches. Trust me they will come up with the money o. Even better if they are offered green card to come to USA. They will look for money to buy ticket o. Let us not deceive or be deceived by ourselves o So small sense dey dis dru boy head sef. |

vicolame: Just wondering though... Most companies request applicants that has years of experience, host of us will ask what happens to the fresh graduates? Most of us will blame microfinance banks for not helping entrepreneurs that where would u want them to get upfronts or collateral or even the high interest rate. Now its a new trend for drivers to make upfront deposit , is this really the way to go or car owners are just playing on the desperation of some drivers? Do we pay PHCN, Tax, or any form of utility bills upfront? Not even house rent is pay upfront as far as we generally know. Hmmmm! Oma ga o! #changebegingsfromme #saynotoupfrontdeposit #onlyinnigeria #itcanonlygetbetter *walksaway* That's why a driver should always have his 35k handy. Simple!....Get to work bro and stop whining. |
