Thanks a lot for your advise Maam, I have been following your threads and i can relate explicitly with the "majority behaviour of Nigerians".

These same people often very religious will be blaming the government while the individually are terrible people in tbe localities.

Just imagine investing your noney to build a house for rent and then your on regular visits to DPO, Area command and Zone 2. When you're not a dectective investigating crime 😁.

Any business in Nigeria is buyer and seller beware. I wish I had this information to hand (Hence my decision to share) at least I will have all essential information to hand and mentally prepare before I venture into it.

Because of tenant matter, I am now known to local DPO, Area Command and even Zone 2.

If I knew what I know now not in Nigeria and that is not saying other places don’t have difficult tenants but one cannot compare the level of dishonesty, dishonourable and destructive etc conduct in Nigeria. Also It is only this location that is very problematic the other one, we have become associates especially with rents at less than 50% of comparable new build in the area.

I would not do another and would choose other types of investments.

You choose your battle and when necessary you match energy. It is in the spirit of diversifying your portfolio

Tenant A - Almost 8 years of Agro.
Tenant B - Not up to a year of constant destruction to property
Tenant C - Brought in ‘Parlour Dog’ 15 months after taking possession in a no pets especially dog agreement.

TENANT A

2) Quit notice. We will issue notice to terminate at the end of your current term being 30 September 2026.

A) All the tenants that have lived below your flat and others have had something to say about your disturbance to their quiet enjoyment and despite all warnings and pleadings you have continued such that after almost 8 years we would issue quit notice.

B) The concern has been with the nurse, the constant pounding in the middle of the night and it has escalated to hygiene issues with you spreading wet cloths and the water dripping on them and your constant throwing of waste from your top flat and this scattering all over the compound to name a few. This has escalated to the involvement of police and it is totally unacceptable.

C) Your constantly leaving your trash in front of my apartment.

D) Breakage to stairwell steps whilst purposefully dropping your gas cylinder on the stairs . I personally witnessed this on 2 occasions.

E) Your constant nonchalant attitude in leaving the water pump on and refusing to go back and put it off leading to several fights

F) On two occasions I have offered you a lower flat which you rejected.

G ) Washing your windows into you lower neigbour’s flat without the curtesy of giving notice informing them so that they can shut their windows.

H) Such is the disturbance that I had to offer the victim a different apartment which they moved into in February 2026 after Police had to get involve.

I now have no option but to issue quit notices. The relevant word in law is that you have become an intolerable nuisance.

It is unfortunate because I know the culprit is your wife but unfortunately you are a package.

I hope that we can do this without a need to resort to external media.

TENANT B
Non renewal of term certain tenancy.

This is to inform you that I will not be renewing your tenancy after your 1 year certain term such that you have to leave by the 31st May 2026.

Such is my concern that while I have never done this before, If you give vacant possession and handover keys to Mr Okoro by latest the 1st June 2026, I will refund N160,000 to assist with your move. I am not under any obligation to do this and it is just a goodwill gesture. If you don’t give possession by the 1st June 2026 you would not get the N160,000 and we will still evict you, escalate as I see fit and report your child abandonment and endangerment.

The incidents in issue are

A) Based on your voice note your negligent leaving of your 3 boys home alone and unsupervised for at least 4 hours daily and their consequential destruction to property and constant flooding of your apartment which was reported by the tenant below as having happened on 3 occasions in his less than 3 month’s occupation of the apartment.

B) Your penchant for not honouring the terms of your agreement and consequent landlord harassment for repairs that are your responsibility under the agreement.

C) Your penchant for dishonest utterances. A) After completing repairs, vacant possession and the keys were handed to you on the 10 May 2025 and 7 weeks later on the 29 June 2025 you reported internal leakage (your responsibility to remedy and one would expect that if you had any other repairs issues at the time you would have reported it) which was clearly caused by your family as if that was how you met it. As a one off I called the plumber again to repair and this was completed on 2 July 2025. B) We would generally not rent to a family of more than 4 with 2 young children in a one bedroom apartment to avoid overcrowding and significant damages but you stated that your eldest child is in boarding school which allowed us to waive this requirement. C) The incident with the back gate keys and your claims.

D) The inspection of your apartment on the 22nd February 2026 shows your significant damages of the apartment in the months you have been living there and we cannot let this continue.

E) The concern is that your negligence abandonment of your children might result in your unsupervised children burning down the building.

Cautioned by caretaker when he brought the dog in on November 2025.
Matter escalated on 15 March 2026

Has been given till 29th March 2026 to honour the no pets especially dogs terms of his agreement or decide his next steps.

But staph can also be spread by
1. Using menstrual products longer than usual
2.Poor hygeine (not just not washing pants, not washing hands before changing menstrual products or cleaning around the vagina).
3.Using dirty towels, pants, etc./Sharing dirty towels (Do both of you share a towel or towels for example)
4.Shaving around the genitals, without adequate hand washing.

My friend, get your woman to see a gynaecologist for advice.

Also, both of you need to go and get counselling. There are issues in your marriage...that you never sorted out. And that should have been sorted out before you got married. This one that you are already accusing her of sleeping around !!

Me I don't really know what the problem is between Christians and Muslims.

I see Old testament as more of islamic book because lots of it's scriptures are related to islamic scriptures.

Like the story of Moses and Jonah. And many more. Also the old testament talked about going to your place of worship without your shoes and that's what Islam is practicing. It's also warn against women being in charge of any organisation. Even covering of a woman's head. Most Christian movies scripting the moses era would have women cover their heads completely. Islam uses hijab as well.


The only problem I see is Christians referring to Jesus as God.

Aside this, I don't really see any difference between these two religion.
