The president has appointed a 76 year old acquaintance as always.
- Will he be effective in his responsibilities...No - Will he be accountable at this age....No - Will he be able to supervise the DGs..No - Is this appointment a surprise to me...No - Can a 76 year old man perform....No
This dullard president doesn’t have anything to offer.
The earlier Nigerians know the better. |

DeckXavier: So should he be held accountable for his actions then??. Remember he was born this way and probably acting out a script impulsively. . If he commits a crime, yes he will be held accountable. However the topic of discuss here is his “self destructive nature” which is just like a virus. |

It a disorder you have bro.
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder characterized by a long-term pattern of exaggerated feelings of self-importance, an excessive need for admiration, and a lack of empathy toward other people.
Just like Judas, some people are destined to be destroyed by their own self sooner or later. You are one of such.
Don’t stress yourself looking for advice.
It’s your destiny. |

Greystone: I had a similar experience some years ago.
It was my 4th car.
There was this model i had always wanted. I was still saving up to get one from Cotonou then, when i saw the exact type parked at a car dealership on my way to work. I couldn’t resist. I came down and had a look. Everything looked ok. Naija used for about one and half years.
Few days later, i brought my mechanic who inspected it. I test drove it and it felt good.
We settled on a price and deducted it from my trade in car. Rushed to the bank and transferred the balance.
Came back, signed the necessary documents and drove my “new” car home.
All was well till about 2 months later when the car refused to acknowlege the gear shift. Put the car in drive but car was like it was in “park”. Na so i climb bike go work that day.
Got a mechanic to come look at it. Bottom line, automatic transmission (gearbox) had gone. Another 3 months of climbing bike up an down while 2 auto gearboxes wer sent up from Lagos (both wer fixed, didn’t work and returned back to Lagos).
Cut the long story short, I barely managed to sell that junk for 150k.
I will never buy Naija used car in my life again. Interesting.. What baffles me is how those hidden faults decide to hide until after 2/3 months before showing up. Scary stuff. |

dammiedot: Water always mess something up in the engine when you wash it, now I simply tell my mechanic to use petrol or kerosene and a paint brush to help me wash it and he does a good job. Water and all those electronic gadget in the engine dont mix, that's apart from the rust that will occur over some years if you keep using water to wash your engine. Naso oooo Before person go use him hand go find costly trouble. |

Stevecreativex: Mine was crazy and funny thou.
Twas when I moved over to Greece for my masters via PDTF Scholarship, Thou the scholarship covered my living expenses and so on...
But the landlady was too hard on me, the white lady just making my stay kinda horrible when I get to know why she is behaving that towards me I found out she does not like black people...
Damm!!! I even tried been nice to her so she could change her manner towards me... But no white mama just ain't ready to capitulate...
The worst she did which I had to how to involve the Hellenic police were on a cool afternoon I was returning from lectures only for me to open up me room seeing everywhere scattered my clothes on the floor, my window and door opened, immediately I went on to check my safe to see if my savings are still intact... Fam out of €1500 saving I met €20, I was so pissed, I knew twas her handwork.
Later I summoned the courage to go confront her about what happen Before I knocked I already place my phone on record.
Immediately I tried explaining how i met my room she claimed it saying it her doing, that she is tired of seeing my blackface ...
Yo local man was sooo pissed(if no be say I remember how I take to enter the country, he remain small make man punch am ooo) , I left the building took a taxi to Hellenic police Dept.. when I got there explaining this to them and playing the voice recorder, they followed me to arrest the white bitch...
Though white bitch pleaded and I just accepted with a compensation fine of €3000.
Bad experience but sweet thou Thank God you had evidence bro. Your black ass would have been very sorry |

dicksonadams: Salvage title in auction mean the car can be salvage and legally l allowed back on the road. I bought 3 salvage car last year...
One just needed a bumper and fender plus body paint respray
The second just needed door replacement and airbag crash sensor replacement for driver side.
The 3rd was panel beater work for a dent on the roof, fender and water pump replacement The ones you mentioned all had somewhat minor issues. I’ve seen some really messed up salvage titles and then dealers here kinda resurrect these cars and sell as clean titles. Best is to do a VIN before buying any toks car. |

dicksonadams: Salvage cars are not bad... They are only accident cars written off by insurances companies over there... They are cheaper to fix or rebuild in naija But most salvage titles have major underlying ailments and sicknesses even after repairs. |

jamoyakz: what about all these salvaged tokunbo cars being imported into Nigeria? You know those ones can have serious internal damage too. The only major difference is that people kinda pay more attention to details like checking the VIN and all. When naija man went to spend millions, he automatically becomes wiser than King Solomon. |

adanny01: You will know, if you know how to spot or listen to tell tale signs.
A properly washed engine is a sign of hidden defects.
A missing AC low pressure port cap indicates a possible frequent AC repair or gas refill.
Car manufacturers don't run bare wires, seeing wires uncovered and free tells you the kind of Electrician who worked on the car.
New paint tells you something, the seller is trying to increase the value of the car or is hiding something. You need to find it and decide if you can tolerate it or not.
Just yesterday, i saw a car on Jiji and got seriously interested. The pictures were great but no side, engine and trunk. So i calledand asked for it. When I got the engine pic, I asked if AC is working and was told it needs small work (i assumed worst, it needs big work). I only noticed a missing port cap.
One wheel cover was missing and the side picture us not as clear as the front and rear. The only reason for a bad picture is that there is something to hide. I only asked if it was painted and he said yes.
I didn't need to ask anymore cause I already lost interest in the car after 2 questions and 2 more pictures.
The pictures on Jiji highlighted the good sides if the car but left the bad.
Basically, one will be looking for red flags in answers to questions and physical signs of previous work. Excellently well said my brother. Only that sometimes we get carried away by how clean the car looks. It’s always better to even have an independent well experienced person look at it too. |

That’s why I earlier said I have a phobia for engine overhaul or rebuild. You can never tell what will happen next and engine seller and Mecho have collected money already. |

Nonso92: Any house where the landlord/lady stays in it, I cannot live there.
I removed back then in 2011 when my landlady would lock me out by 9pm.
Another one, she warned me not to use electrical iron in my flat, that it consumes too much electricity, no jokes the day she found electric iron in my flat one day, I paid 20k for electricity bill for that month.
A month after my rent expired, I was still begging her to chill small for me, unknown to her, I was using up my caution fee I paid cos I know I wasn't gonna get a dime back from her.
To cut the long story short, I left a small debt for her before I moved out, and I had to move out in the middle of the night, when she was fast asleep.
I could only imagine the look on her face when she woke up and saw my flat empty.
(I was still a student then Wow.....that’s some real issues u had. |
