1Sharon: The thing I don't understand with Nigeria is , why is it that the husband gets to circumvent the doctors orders and decisions
What about what the woman wants??
Does her opinion on her own body not matter?
I've read quite a few topics on Nigerian men trying to circumvent a doctors decisions on their wives choice of birth. A doctor will advice on CS. The husband will come out to insist on VD!! torrrr I’ve asked my self same thing! |

Can’t beat it As in… some of us live boring lives here In naija Someone like me I don’t even have close friends in naija Like I can stay 6months and im not visiting anyone, neither is anyone visiting me.. I love serene and tranquil environment devoid of noises I don’t like partying, if you invite me for your occasion, I won’t honor it So imagine someone of my nature being depressed? Kole werk! |

I will also like to add Pls if I were to choose cs in naija and abroad I’ll prefer abroad cos how do you explain a doctor removing the woman’s kidney or forgetting gauze or surgical blade in the woman’s body?
Niaja is still far behind that’s why our politicians fly abroad for even ordinary eye checkup |

Myer: 1. The birth-pang of natural birth is symbolic. It normally should change a woman forever. It's a NDE that should make one put life and legacy in perspective. It's difficult not to care for such a child when you know the cost of delivering them.
2. Nigerians don't appreciate CS. In Nigeria CS is also a NDE as some doctors can easily botch the process carelessly. Of course there's the cost implications. However where it is painless, some mothers don't get that sense of essence of child-birth that instils a sense of purpose, legacy and responsibility into a woman.
I hope this helps. lmao Cs painless?? Do you know we have epidural Vaginal birth The woman won’t feel the pangs of childbirth as they inject her spine Cs comes with its own pains esp after the woman has come around from the theatre. |

MrsTwrite: Why do most Nigerian women stigmatize those ladies that gave birth through CS?
Does it mean that because a woman gave birth through CS she's not a real woman? that’s black man mentality for you! A quick one! I had a patient who had pre-eclampsia during her pregnancy, she’s a primigravida. She was advised to carry out a selective ceaseran to avoid further complications prior to delivery Her hubby blantly refused ! What was his reason? He said In his village no one deliveres thru that means and his wife won’t be the first. She went into labour and for 4days she was in pains and labour was not progressing at all, she was stuck at 2 cervix dilation… Atlast she went into epileptic shock and upon insertion baby had passed the meconuim already which was a very bad sign Now it became a need for emergency CS! It was the hubby’s sister that signed the form to commence surgery saying God forbid the lady wouldn’t die! The hubby was looking like a lost puppy and crying crocodile tears while his wife battled for her life! That day was hot for all of us as all the hcp had to rally around this woman in the theatre to save her life. Thank God she delivered and the baby was resuscitated and later transferred for further treatment Guess what the hubby was doing while we were operating on the wife, he went and called all this church ministry people to come to start kabashing in the Hospital, thereby causing Comotion with their noise Our Md had to beckon on the gateman to walk them out! What was the hubby’s gain? He spent more money for ER CS with advanced treatment for the child at the expense of the woman’s life! Hmmm our problem in Nigeria is pure illiteracy and ignorance! |

DaddyCoool: Since he offered to be with the children, let him. While helping from a distance, sort yourself out and also find out how marketable you are in the dating scene - maybe you'll hook a better guy I don’t quite agree to this advice. The man might end up abusing those children or molesting them out of frustration and spite for the woman Someone that can’t fend for himself, what if he decides to sell the children? From op’s write up she said her first child is meant to start school but no money, this means she has 1 toddler and a baby with her! She can drop the kids for his parents though or hers if they’re alive! |

The cv aspect is to enable her to draft adequate one that can enable her attract the agencies with respect to job opportunities. You can redact the cv to protect some information of yours (IE removing some personal informations you wish not to share or changing it).
Thanks once more for the reply. PM sent. You can drop other agencies name you know of... Just trying to get various options to explore. hello 👋 Pls I just pm’d you so I can get soft copy for the foreign cv So I can edit mine I’m a nurse bsc and plan on working abroad too |

Kaycee54321: It starts with the little things people see as "normal" in Nigeria:
- You drink sachet "pure" water and dump the sachet on the road like a retard.
- You crack boiled groundnuts along the road, chewing and leaving a groundnut shell trail like a bush animal.
- You cross the express running like a confused chicken when there's an overhead pedestrian bridge few metres away from you.
- You bring out your wa.nker and piss in the nearest gutter like a baboon when you're pressed...
- And many more.
It's not magic - We are the streets. bro you’re funny 😆 It’s the confused chicken for me lmao |

Cleanliness is next to godliness. ungodly people cant do well in their community. bro even the tarred roads in naija is still very dirty They will heap dustbins and all manner of filth on the tarred roads with flies buzzing everywhere It’s always an eye sore Nigerians are just plainly dirty and wicked! Anywhere you see a white person, There are 97% chances that the place will be organized and clean
But anywhere you see a Black person, There are 100% chances it's gonna be a slum
Even far out of African down to the carribeans which is mostly habited by black people, It's also sh*thole, Even the most dangerous and dirty part of America are where black people live, they call it "HOOD it’s mostly Nigeria op If you reach ordinary Cotonou You will fall In love with their roads…. I do tell people around me that I’ve not seen any beautiful city or place in Nigeria that’s overseas standard cos I’ve been privileged to travel out abroad in my younger years. The situation report of the country isn’t even funny at all Nigerians are managing and enduring Smelly roads everywhere You can’t even breath good air for once Except in your apartment Hmmmmm 😔 |

A neighbour who sells biscuits, drinks, sausage rolls&co also said same of how random passersby will stop to beg for something to eat. Whereas, most of those items only av about N50 - 100 profit in a dozen. I witnessed it in just a few hours I spent with her last week. all what you’ve said is plain truth! Naija which way??
