Well I agree with seun on the privatisation point.

I also agree with the fact that the issue cannot be resolved by December or even at all untill they find out how they can cut off Mikano and all other merchants of Generators and Mr Otedola.

The latter is the Diesel Mogul and he makes a fortune off of the electricity problems in the country. If Nepa stabilizes power supply, there will be little need for generators from mikano etc and further, Diesel from Otedola.

Handle those two and I know u are really serious wether u can sleep or not.

I do a LOT of online shopping but there is NO WAY I will be caught shopping online on a nigerian site with a nigerian ATM. Say whatever u want to say I dont care. First of there is the security thing I know it is then same with global online shopping but use ATM (not visa card) on a site, sorry, no!!

Besides the Flegz shop is the emptiest online shop I have ever seen.

The thing is, there isnt a cut rule for these things. Look at it this way:

The entertainment world isnt that easy to fair in at all. The competition is tight and so people mostly new to music will have to pay a price. You will not have these DJs asking D'banj for money to play his songs and you know why? Cos he is a brand already, he has listening fans and that is what these radio stations want.

If you are new, they are not obligated to play your song at all. There is no media law saying they should play your song. If you get popularity just when you start, these DJs will be looking out for ur albums to blast cos they know u r popular and already have a listening fan base.

If u are not able to get that popularity, then by all means u must sacrifice. Especially when your music isnt all that. Now if u take ur music to them for airplay, u are asking for them to slot ur sound unto their schedule and for this I must say u have to be ready to show appreciation. I do not support it when there is a cut throat price on it though but dont expect it to be free.

In established listening media, it is even worse. The Radio jockeys get payment and you dont even get to here ur sh!t on air. what would u say to that?

If u are not ready to make such sacrifice to get popular then there is another way.

U could go to venues of shows and raves to ask for a chance to perform, if they allow u (most times u wont get paid) do ur best and prolly in a while people will get to like ur sh!t, then, these DJs will get calls to them asking for ur song to be played. Thats another way.

But if u say the whole thing should stop and they should play every song that come to the studio then u are dreaming cos it's been like that before these DJs u mention were born!!

my connection is now faster, after a weekend of ups and downs.

i did not understand it earlier untill i made a call longer than usual. Then it was further made clear. Make call zain-zain for a minute, if u r still on that call, the next min is free and so on. So if i make a call for ten mins i pay for five mins. The issue is that it is for on net only and it stays valid if the call isnt terminated. Then there cant be a carry over. I think it isnt bad cos i enjoyed it. What do you all think?

I watched the movie and it is fabulous. Just that it isnt completely done. some special efx were still in their skeletal phases, then a lot of ropes suspending flying mutants.

At the begining the mutants were taken to Lagos to steal a rare mineral. Ike from the season 7 of 24 was there as the diamond merchant. They got a good scenario of lagos looking like yaba/ebutte metta ( the part close to the 3rd mainland bridge.

Then the hostage speaking Igbo and wade speaking and intepreting was just hilarious (it sounded out of place) but it was nice. wondering how we watched it already?

It is reported that a bootleg copy of the film, missing many of the SFX, some 20 minutes of footage, and a finalized score, but nevertheless a complete cinematic unit, was leaked online a month before the movie's official theatrical release. so we still gotta watch it when it hits the cinemas.

And it isnt Xmen 4 please!!

I just watched the game at anfield again and my goodness. We did very very well in all departments. I carefullu watched Essien and saw him frustrate Gerrard.

The last time I saw the blues play like this was the first season after Mourhinho took over.

I have not believed Malouda could play that well. I wonder what sparked him on.
