Exactly! However, most people already know this except those who have refused to wake up to the Nigerian situation. Someone gets into the civil service and assumes he has arrived. Why? As a young man in his late Twenties- early Thirties, he has just gotten a job and is immediately granted a loan to buy a car and rent an apartment. Big-boy things on his level. Then when he realizes that it'll take 3 years of massive deductions from his salary to pay for a tokumbo car, he begins to realize that just maybe, he arrived at a destination below his level. A lot of these folks will give their lower-grade graduated college classmates the 'stink-eye' until they actually begin to realize the meaning of the word J.O.B (Just Over Broke). Then they run into those guys who've probably gone on to battle their demons and emerge successful businessmen and CEOs and the realization sets in that in present day Nigeria, cramming theories and formulae to get good grades and a job without getting accustomed to the nitty-gritty of the professional/business environment where one intends to succeed will only get you so far. Sadly, too many of these people have a twisted mentality that life is a part of school. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Wow! It's such a rare thing for a mother to spend time with her little child. This is really huge news. Mods! Frontpage please. |

chie8: See how the love of Frontpage just made you to paint a very positive thing in negative light. You have done a great disservice to those who took the streets in support of the anti-corruption fight. If you are a blogger, quality of stories should be your watch-word. There are too many Nigerian news bloggers right now and only those who do their best to ace it at all times will be recognized. The rest will just be called the usual - hungry bloggers. 1 Like |

coolestchris: 3rd class in civil engineering and you are shouting? Who gives a fück what you graduated with in blue collar professions? It's your skills set and on-field proficiency that matters. Leave that for office-job folks to worry about. Go find someone in your field who's practicing and intern under him. They should have told you back in school that this is the next advisable step after graduation. I'm in construction and the only question I've ever been asked is, "where did you study?" The next thing you'll hear is the client's brief and if you can get the job done. |

Oga just give these guys the pipeline protection contracts (development) they desperately require and let everyone be on their way jare. Just stick to the diversification plan in other regions and the ND's distraction isn't what we need right now. Again, if you are a youth from the North/SW, please key into the agric sector this year. If you cannot do it alone, get together with a few friends and grow or process something this 2017. 2016 was lovely for the sector, 2017 will be beautiful. We look inwards; yes we can. Happy new year. |

...and that's why we have a lot of angry graduates walking about under-employed and frustrated. Good grades are good grades, personal success is personal success. Two different things. 1 Like |

Cessa0: Well, obviously he wasn't screaming "Jesus Akbar" while going on his mission unlike your Muslim terrorists do. You can now understand why it's hard to label him a Christian terrorist. Religion is still sh*t though. World's better off without it - all of them. 2 Likes |

From what most are writing here it means about 400mb would be enough. 400*4 =1.6gb for four Liverpool matches in a month. Not bad since MTN gives me 3gb for 1k. |

Nothing wrong there. Infact, I think it will even make the students a little more relaxed in answering, seeing that the examples are made of stuff of recent trend. 1 Like |

To get good governance in Benue state, you need the following: 1. A very good neurosurgeon for brain transplant 2. A state-of-the-art dialysis machine for blood purification and possible transfer. 3. A seasoned geneticist to carry out DNA modification. If all the above listed are not provided in the government house, Benue will just keep getting worse governors as long as they come from the current pool of a backwardly-savage group whose belief is that of, "when it's your turn, loot as much as possible and when it's mine, I'll do the same." |
