Imagine you told a customer care rep. that you were asked previously by another customer care rep. to do a certain thing, like pull out the phone battery and put it back in, for example, but the problem wasn't solved after you did as you were advised.

And then this current rep says "hmm, I'm sorry about that sir. Kindly remove your battery, put it back in again and turn the phone on.

How would you respond?

Really?? Is this a point.....the letter..'s' that could have entered the typed word by mistake is what you are capitalising on...you must have really been pained at your inability to get into CU.....bloody mofo
(1) There was no "cu" in my time. (2) I'm a grammar nazi (3) Dude made the same "mistake" multiple times in the same doggone post (4) I say it's a point. You opine that it's not. You could have just ignored, you know.

I could decide to gloat over your own "Moved on" blunder right now but i will act as an elder brother tongue. Also, you can't compare English language to Basic Mathematics. The former is just a language not even superior to my Yoruba language, the latter on the other hand is a universal 'language' everyone in the world should and must understand.
If you tell me that i'm insufficiently educated because I'm not proficient with English language i could also say the same of you for not understanding French.
The past tense and past participle of move is moved. Gloat, if you may but kindly correct me so I can move on (pun intended).

The superiority of Yoruba to English is another argument altogether.

The issue at hand is that of the fact that you made a blunder and I tried to correct you but instead of you to learn, you're bandying gist up and down. Your argument is that a person needs to be a graduate of a language to be proficient in that language and I say that's simply preposterous. Beyond the issue, your line of argument is quite revealing.

40k seulement.

You just made a sensible statement on your other response about only to mar it with thishuh A doctor who receives a medical training is expected to be proficient at his medical profession while an English student is expected to be proficient at English language. Education has nothing to do with proficiency in English language much less Higher Education, but i don't expect intellectually colonised Nigerians to understand that. Therefore your point can only be validated if I studied English language in the University.

Lastly, the term Fed and State unis is a blanket term, therefore I don't understand why u took offense unnecessarily...
Young man, you should have taken correction jejely and moved on. There was no need to cast aspersions by being disrespectful.

In any case, do you mean to say that a graduate of CU is allowed to not be able to work out basic arithmetic like to calculate his net salary from the gross because the person is not a mathematics scholar? Or that it's alright to live and work in a country and not know the name of the president of that country because you're not a political science graduate?

Look, if you have a point, table it and be objective about it.

Did you really have to add that the doctors there were produced by state and federal schools? Did they go through any form of examination by CU before being employed or not? Who employed them? The government as well? Does it change the fact that the hospital doesn't have good doctors? That someone just died due to that? No it doesn't! I don't care if they pay you to do that, but a promising young man just died, its not the time to take sides.
No mind dem. A bad workman quarrels with his tools.

May his soul rest in perfect peace. This News breaks my heart seriously.

As regards equipment, I do not believe CU does not have medical equipments, having gone there myself and also visiting my admitted friends I can say authoritatively that CU has good equipments. But some of the staff at the health center should definitely be fired especially the medical shuttle drivers.

Even Crawford uni had to use this same health center as their medical centre for a period of time. I also know High profile ppl who use this Hospital.
Equipment doesn't have a plural. After now, you will come and tell us about the quality of the education and stuff in the school.

Good morning Tonye,

Yesterday, I stumbled 'pon your interesting travel diary through Lome, Dakar, Conakry and Freetown.

I intend to travel to Canada so I was searching for information on google about tenability of Delf/Dalf results in lieu of the required TEF.

I took the Delf A1in December 2015 in Lagos. I intend to take either the TEF or B2 later this year (if accepted).

No, the license was relatively cheaper
See then 1 pound =2 Naira
So 2.3naira was = 1.10pounds
= 1.10 x 565(ioday's Maura value of one pound)
=621Naira
And it has renewal pages!!
i rather agree with Keneking's assertion. Using the relative open market value approach: A bungalow in Lagos that's worth at least 50m today was purchased in 1976 for about 3500 naira.

By proportions, 1 naira in 1976 will have a relative value of about 14,285 naira in 2017 and 2.2 naira will have a relative value of 31,428 naira today
